does this count as a workout?

Does jumping on the trampoline with my kids count as cardio? I faithfull workout 5-6 days a week doing at 2 or 3 Cathe cardio workouts. However; since it has been so nice I have been taking my kids outside alot and they love for me to jump with them. My neighbor jumps with her son also and she said "I got my workout for the day" and it got me thinking.

I'm a personal trainer. As such, I say: Yes! I do it all the time and even add light hand weights depending on the body part I'm working (shoulders or biceps). I have a mini-tramp and use it for circuits in my living room. It all depends on your goals, but I know my heart rate gets up. I use my BOSU to jump on as well. Fitness is supposed to be fun. Even better is that you are a great role-model to your kids and getting them active as well. Bonus!
