Does anyone know this recipe?

NOw, Im gonna spell this wrong. But DH wants me to find out what ingredents I need for the sauce for eggs benedict? All I know it is yellow in color and a little salty in taste but he loves it.
Im gonna seach the web but I didn't know if anyone had it.

Hollandaise Sauce. You can buy a packet (from McCormacks) and I think you just add butter or water(it's been years) or something. I remember it being really good. I used to use it over asparagus. I don't know how from scratch.
 
It is very tough to make from scratch and the McCormick packet is really just as good and much more stable. I would go for the packet. If you have a friend who is a very good cook who can show you how to make hollandaise from scratch, have them show you sometime. Just make sure you add a teenie bit of lemon to the McCormick and it will be yummier.

I worked at restaurant and we used it for banquets because it was so stable. Homemade will "break" or separate and then it is just a bowl of yuck.
