Ok I saw him on The Wayne Brady show this morning and saw some of the moves that he uses in this video and it looks really good. Im just wondering if anyone has this video and what you think of it? I saw a preview over at Collage Video and it looks pretty good. So tell me if it is good or bad? Thanks:)

Personally I dont care for kickboxing. I think it's the whole punching thing, I've only done Cathe's KPC once. So, I have never tried his workouts, but one of my sisters has his video for abs and but. I'm not sure if this is what you saw, but she said it's great. He does fast kicks over and over, and it is advanced. ? But then again, she likes Denise Austin...

Hi Susan thanks for the info but no this is the new video that just came out recently. Im not sure if it is called Tae Bo 2004 or Billy Blank 2004. But in this video he uses a weighted sweeze ball that comes with the video so as your punching your sweezing at the same time.

Susan I was just like you didn't want nothing to do with kickboxing but once I really started to do it alot now I love it.

Barbara, I do have the Billy Blanks 2004, which has 4 parts: Foundation, Energy, Strength and Power. So far I've only gone through Foundation, and it is wonderful! It teaches you in a step-by-step fashion how to correctly perform the punches and kicks. I haven't gone through the other three DVD's yet as weight training keeps me busy, but after doing Foundation, I know I will love this series. I will, however, have to get used to his teaching style. I work out with Cathe everyday and switching instructors will be an adjustment.

I have his old DVD's that I got from E-bay. So far I've done his Abs workout and it is a good low-impact, high-intensity session. What I don't like about it (this is from his Get Ripped series) is the production quality. The workouts consist of chopped-up segments from his many live classes and sometimes you only get to work one side of your body, which leaves you feeling somewhat unbalanced. But the 2004 series has better production quality. I feel more like I'm part of the workout than just a spectator following the moves.

Thanks so much Pinky for taking the time to give me an idea. I think I am going to order this as I love kickboxing and I need more to my workout. Cathe is still great but I want to add more to my collection:)

Just saw the infomercial. For $29.99, it looks like a good deal to me. Let me know what you think; I am toying with the idea of getting it too!

I had them and was very disappointed. They are geared toward beginners, I didn't even break a sweat with these tapes. And they are the first TaeBo I've tried. A large part is spent on teaching, talking, marching. The balls are only 1/2 pound and did nothing for me.

So if you're looking for an advanced or fast paced workout, you may not like these.
