does anyone do 1 w/o series a month

Hi ! I need help! If you all would be so kind. Has anyone done any rotations of 1 series eg (GS's with various cardios) as opposed to different weight w/o's each week in a rotation.eg. I am doing June 05 rotation and I thought I would use GYM stlyes at least for the first 2 weeks (or maybe even the whole month)instead of changing series! Thansk in advance. I hope I am clear on this:)

I though maybe I would get better results if I continued 1 weight series.

I have thought of doing each series for a month. Like do the body blast series and do them over for a month. Then move on to the Intensity Series. Not sure if that is what you meant, but I thought of that when I read your post. I miss doing some of the sereis straight through because I mix them up so much.

Hi Fitgrl thanks for replying. Yes thats kinda what I meant for instance I am doing june 05 roations of Cathes and I thought I would use gs for the first 2 weeks instead of S&H. I was wondering if results would be same. I really do not use heavy weights anyway so S&H wouldn't work for me I use 5-8-10-12 with highest on back 15 lbs.

I do this. It's really about experimenting and finding out what workouts and what types of rotations work best for your body. I say go for it!

I do this all the time. For example, one month I'll do the GS workouts each week and mix in whatever cardio I feel like doing. The next month, I'll do the Pyramids each week with a "ramdom" mix of cardio. Some months, I'll focus more on endurance and do total body workouts, like Muscle Enurance or Power Hour. During these months, I'll usually pick a couple of total body workouts and alternate them.

I find with this routine, I can really see my improvement, because by the end of the month, I will have definitely moved up in the weight I used. (I find I don't see improvement as obviously if I switch the weight workouts all around, but that's just me).

Thanks for your replies. I am going to try that to. Thats what I was thinking too Shelbygirl I will be able to tell the difference if I use the same weight w/o in my rotations. I am doing Cathes June 05 but I will use gs for the first two weeks and see. Thanks again!!!deborah:)
