Lets try this again.....my arms are weak from doing power hour and I pressed enter by mistake.....:-hmmm.
Anyway..
Cathe,
I know that your videos are geared towards the advanced excerciser and I am happy about that b/c this is what I am (thanks to you:D)
My question is sometimes do you find it difficult to stay focused on what your name is all about? I have noticed that alot of times there are post about people wanting you to do a beginners video or a yoga video.Do you sometimes get tempted to try these things, and then only to realize "wait a minute this is not what I am known for.People buy my videos b/c they want to sweat and be sore in the morning.:7 "
Mainly my point is...that you are different from most aerobics instructors who sell videos. They dip their toes in pretty much whatever the hottest trend is,(yoga, pilates).Meanwhile, you make everything fun, difficult, and up to date.Do you have to remind yourself often of what your name is linked to or do it just come natural to always make somethig harder instead of making easier videos for different people?
Thanks ,
Sorry if my question was confusing...
Lori

Hi Lori! You were not confusing at all:)!

As an active fitness educator/instructor, it is my job and my responsibility to keep abreast and exposed to all of the latest trends in the industry. But instructors in general will have things that they enjoy more than others. Some like spin, some like weight lifting, some like yoga, etc. While each instructor will explore new avenues continuously, they will also find their niche (or even a couple of niches)and find themselves favoring teaching that type of class.

I think what makes your best instructors are those individuals who find their specialties, stick with them, and hone them.

When it comes to making a video, I only create workouts that make perfect sense to me, are effective, and of course really excite me.

I hope I answered your question. Thanks for asking as well as adding your kind words :)!
