how many believe in the paranormal? I am a believer, especially after what happened to my son the other night, He went to a sleep over at a friends house he hasn't seen for awhile since he moved away, so he came over got my son, He came home last night, the look on his face was just weird beyond words, He just sat there with some blank stare and a look or pure fear, I kept asking him what was wrong, he wouldn't tell me, I can tell something pretty bad happened, He finally told at first, that him, his friend and this kid's friends went into this small room in the basement, the size of the room from what he told be was about the size of a fairly large walk in closet, Any he said there was these shelves along a wall and one boy went over to check it out and saw a hole in the wall behind the shelves, he looked in as saw a machete knife, he pulled it out, it has been there for awhile, it had rust on it along with some weird brownish spots near the top of the blade, and the floor itself spooked him because it was all cement except for one spot that was dirt, there was electricity but NO bulb in the light socket, Later that night after all the boys had fallen asleep, he said he layed there because the basement felt weird and spooky, well half hour after they were asleep he said that is when things really got weird, he said he could see a flickering light coming from that room and that the door knob would jiggle now and then like someone trying to open the door, and he could hear breathing and whispering coming from that room and someone walking around and sounded like someone moving wood, he said he was so scared he just couldn't move, he said his arms felt so heavy, he is pretty traumatized and just sits almost catatonic. I am so worried about him. I have NEVER seen him this scared before!
What do you think of this??

I do believe that "there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamed of in [our] philosophy." So anything is possible.

Creepy creepy story!!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ‘Wow - what a ride!’ — Peter Sage

I think anything is possible, but I always try to look for a reasonable explanation first.

Did any of the other kids observe the same thing? Perhaps the parents who own the home were in there doing something.

Let's face it, kids can have vivid imaginations and can freak themselves out easily enough. I remember once when I was a kid that my sister and I became absolutely paralyzed with fear because of a shadow we saw under the door of our bedroom. We were so scared we couldn't speak. Finally, my mom came into the room to check on us and it became apparent that what we had seen was the cord to the vacuum cleaner. My mom had started spring cleaning and left the vacuum in the hall upstairs--the cord lying in a tangled heap on the floor. I don't know what I thought it was, but the shadow it cast under the door was impressive, and as a child of about 8 or 9, it scared the he!! out of me.

Yes, I do believe!!!

It sounds like your son had a very profound experience with a spirit, unfortunatly a very frighting one at that..poor guy!

How old is your son? Has he ever had any other similar experiences...imaginary friends..etc..

Many times there are those of us that are very sensitive to these types of interactions, and it is possible to pick up some negative energies. It sounds as if your son may have picked up an attachment from this encounter, with the behavior that you are seeing with him. Is you son experiencing any physical or emotional problems since his encounter?

There are many ways to clear out negative energy and attachments.

If you are interested in knowing some please feel free to e-mail me

He said the parents were upstair sleeping and the other boys all crashed for the night this was about midnight maybe a bit later and he said if felt like it lasted for hours, and then it just stoped like nothing happened, this is a very old house, I asked him the same thing, if one of the boys was playing a joke he said no since he was facing the room ALL night, there was no way someone could have went in there without him seeing. he still crys now and then.

he is 14 and before this happened he was a very happy kid, looking forward to his 15'th birthday and what he wants for his birthday, after that he did have some negative emotional behavior, he would snap at everyone and be so edgy. After I got him to talk about what happened he would break out crying now and then, even when no one was talking to him, he wouldn't eat anything, he was just a bit catatonic. You could see there was some negative energy still effecting him, He is now sleeping but still catatonic, I am really scared for him, more worried about how to help him, I am just glad to see him finally sleeping, he still doesn't have much of an apetite, I even told him I would go get his favorite hamburger, the tripple whopper, he is very tiny and he can eat the WHOLE thing LOL, but he didn't care for it, he just sits and stares, and now and then you can see some tears in his eyes. What ever was there traumatized him greatly, he even said earlier in the night, he took his computer over to play games on, his computer was acting up, cd rom wouldn't open and when it did it wouldn't play, but those are explainable but the other stuff just isn't, I asked him just about every question possible to validate what happened, and my conclusion, it happened.

I don't know if you're a religious person but, have you considered calling your minister or priest? Maybe they could help your son. Just a thought.
