I'm looking at the picture on the home page of Cathe.com today and wonder - how the heck can Cathe and Jai get so stinking high when they jump? Do they have Flubber in there sneakers? Were they cheerleaders in their school years? It's unnatural!
I know Cathe was a gymnast, maybe a cheerleader?
I think they may be part cat (ever see how high a cat can jump from a dead stop?) or have springs in their legs. As for Flubber, I'll need those sneakers to get that high!
Oh that's a hoot! I've wondered this myself. Even for tuck-jumps I sometimes feel I don't get higher then a couple of inches but I know I'm probably higher then I think. I could never "spring" like those gals! I agree with Kathryn, they must have some cat in them!
I made comment to dh about this. Look at how high they have their heels tucked under their rear as compaired to the others in the workout. I think it makes them look higher when it is how far they pull up their feet. Not that they aren't putting their all into these jumps

Core strength!! It's how I finally was able to conquer tuck jumps! You need core strength in addition to leg strength to jump high and tuck your legs like they both do.
