Do I have to change my DVD Now?

I have been doing your Total Cardio Step program (all the parts or chapters) since the end of November. I still am sweating alot while I am doing it.

Question is: Do I need to change to a different program now? Is my body going to get used to this exercise routine and need something different to gain strength? and if I need a new routine, can you suggest the one I should go to next? I want to stay with the cardio step stuff. (love it).

Cathe has provided articles in her newsletter about muscle confusion. Your body will get used to doing certain activities and can hit a plateau. The idea of muscle confusion is simply to mix up what you are doing.

At some point you'll want to invest in a few more DVDs. If you like step, Cathe has some great options! I saw that BodyMax 2 is on sale today. In addition to step, this DVD has some weight work in it. Plus it has 3-4 premixes. I just love this DVD because of all the variety I can get from hit.

Welcome to Cathe Land! Try a post in the Open Discussion Forum--you'll get some great replies. Different workouts are very important to keep your body guessing, and I thrive on the mental variety.

As a side note, *BEWARE*! As you have discovered, Cathe is a great teacher--the greatest in my opinion. And her workouts are seriously addictive (in a fabulous way). My birthday and Christmas money always go to workouts or equipment for said workouts.:D
