Divagirl, what happened??

Ok...here's the scoop.
We went out last night and had an awesome time as usual. Then at the end of the night we were finishing up at the bar. FYI: I am leaving for costa rica on sunday for a short trip. He asked me something like if I'd miss talking to him or something while I was away. I said "Are you asking me if I'm going to miss you?" and he said yes. I said "Of course". Then he says "So what if some hot scuba instructor whisks you away and you forget all about me?" That was my in. I said "Do you really think that would happen? " and then went right into "Since we're on the topic...I really like you and am having a good time with you and I'm not the type of person who likes to date more than one person especially when we're intimate and I want to know how you feel about that" In short, after saying how good things were going he said he was fine with us seeing only each other (very laid back). Then I said "Is that what you want...are you comfortable with that?" He said "I am definitely comfortable with that and I have BEEN comfortable with that" End of story....for now. At least I know we are both in this to the same degree and want to give it a chance.

I am GLAD, it worked out and you BOTH are on the same page. There is NOTHING like being intimiate and the nagging question in the back of your mind, is he seeing someone else too?
Keep it cool, and get to know him better. Eventually, he will have to come out of that shell and EXHALE...
I did not mean to be OUCH, but too many women think sex is equivalent of someone caring about you or LOVE, and with a lot of men it is not...

I am so glad it went so well!!! Sounds like the conversation went very smooth, casual and relaxed!!! I don't think it could have worked out any better! This way...it didn't appear to be this "huge big issue" and it wasn't presented in a "corner him" way! PERFECT
