Digital fitness magasine/Compatible tablet

Hi Everyone,

I like the digital publication concept and looking to subscribe a digital magazine. I do not know much about tablet features compatible to ebooks.

Can anyone please ,if possible, list technical features requirement?
List of brand would also be helpful. I mean not just apple and kindle.

Ideally I would like to purchase a tablet which could enable me to comfortably read my magazine while having tea or coffee, without cookie I promise and also check in the forum, reply and read my e-mail. I am not specifically looking for a tablet for reading sole use.

There is a online Magazine app called Zinio. It is an online store for magazines. They have a ton of publications. It looks to work with iOS, Android and Windows 8 tablets. This might work for you no matter which tablet you pick.

In terms of which tablet to get. I would start by picking which OS you want to have. The top three are iOS(Apple), Android(many manufacturers), and Windows(many manufacturers). Once you determine the OS, you can pick the hardware. iOS is simple because there is only one manufacturer. Android has many options in all price ranges. I believe Samsung is one of the leading manufacturers in this space, but I'm not 100%. I know nothing about the Windows tablets so I wouldn't even begin to provide any info there.

I think any of the three will do magazine reading well. Each provide different benefits beyond that depending on your needs. All will probably do email and web surfing well.

I know that's not much info, but that should allow you do to some additional research. I am personally an Apple gal. You asked not to hear abou that so I won't go into it I'm sure there are some Android and Windows users that can give you details about those products!!

You have answered to my question and this will be very helpful.
I will check zinio app.

IOS is great in terms of features. The only cons is the restriction on storage space for tablets. There are brand which offer expanding the memory storage through the use of SD card. Also I dislike apple marketing strategy consisting of pushing consumers into needing an extra accessory for literally each use. A part from that, IOS is fine!

I am an android gal. You are right about Samsung being number one I believe! So the OS I will eventually go for is android. I do not know anything about window OS.

Let's hope someone else chime in about Windows OS.

On fitness and Fitness Rx are my favourite but would like to try strong.
