Example - IMAX2, in one aerobic interval you do and "up and back" then a jumping jack. Cool. In #9, she does a riochet (And I still haven't figured out all that choreo yet). Aren't these the same things or is what I'm missing causing me to lose my place in interval 9?

I could be wrong here,, but on an up and back, when you go over the step you are going backwards.(your back goes before your front) On a richochet when you go over the step, you are moving frontwards.( your front goes before your back) Does that make sense. that is just how I look at it...but then I am a bit of a klutz. Hi Traci! Val is right, while the feeling of the move is the same, the richocet propels the body up and forward(if you have your right foot leading, you put your right foot on the step and push your body up and steer your body to to the right as it goes over the step so that the front of your body aims toward the camera). The up and back propels the body up and backward(again if your leading right, put your right foot on the step and push your body up and turn your body toward the LEFT, so that your back side comes toward the camera first). Hmmmm, hopefully I didn't confuse you more. Good Luck!
