Difference between slow and heavy and PS series?

OK, I am sorry if this has already been asked 1000's of times... but I swear I did a search and couldn't find the answer.

What is the functional difference between the slow and heavy series and the PS series? I was given the PS series by a friend, and feel that it's a very complete workout - I can't imagine needing another strength workout.

So what do you feel are the virtues of each set? I can't imagine Cathe doing a redundant series. What would you recommend for who?

Thanks -

Shortly after S&H was made (or perhaps during the making) Cathe posted in detail the difference between, and aims of, all her strength workouts. Unfortunately I cant't find it, but perhaps someone on the forum saved it or has a link to it. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

I think I found what you're looking for. Try reading Cathe's response in this thread: http://64.225.138.194/dcforum/CatheForum/3362.html

But you know, even if Cathe did do a strength tape or series with the same aim as one she previously did, there would still be good use for it. Many of us crave variety and a new workout brings new life to our exercise program. Just as I wouldn't want to do the same step tape all the time, I also love the variety of strength workouts Cathe offers--saves me from boredom. --Karen

Thanks, that was the post I was refering to.

I also agree that whatever the aim of your workout, it is good to have variety, and Cathe provides plenty of that. I don't think I'm the only one who, after trying Cathe's workouts, now wants them all! :) The only question is in what order to buy them (and convincing DH that they are a necessity and not an extravagance)
