Difference between Cathe's DVD and VHS

I'm taking the leap and buying CTX *Yea*. Now I'm deciding between the VHS and the DVD versions. Is there much difference that you've noticed? It's always been easier for me to go VHS since the VCR is on top of the entertainment center and the DVD is on the bottom. But, I'll go DVD if someone gives me a good reason to ;-).

My opinion and experience. I bought them in VHS way back when they came out and I just went and purchased them again on DVD. You can mix and match your workouts better with DVD without all the rewinding and forwarding. The DVD also has the extra all ab section together and upper body workout together. I would go DVD for sure. It will last longer too.

I agree. Do DVD!

I started out with VHS and went to DVD. It is soooo much better on DVD! I rarely use tham "as is." I'm always doing mix and match stuff. Plus I prefer the weights as an upper/lower body split. All the FF and RW got to be a real pain, and meant that my CTX spent a lot of time of the shelf and very little time in the VCR. I've used them a ton more since getting the DVDs. Go for the DVDs! :)

Look at the recent post "vhs vs dvd" (or something like that)- it's a similar topic.

I only got the strength DVDs so I could mix them up and skip parts I didn't like or have time to do. I love it!
If you have money for some, but not all, I'd just get some strength DVDs, not the cardio one.
If you do get some cardio dvds, I'd get the ones that are split up so you can mix it up, like Circuit Max and IMAX.

I love her stuff on DVD but wanted the Rhythmic and PH workouts. Plus the PS...I couldnt afford all 3 DVDs! So decided that PS would be my DVD purchase and to get the other two on VHS then atleast I get the new stuff quick. DVD really is sweet to workout with but it really isn't a necessity. Just gravy.
