Diet Cleanses

Has anyone here tried a diet cleanse? I'm interested in trying one mainly for renewed energy & to feel that I'm giving my body a fresh start. I'm not interested in trying one to lose weight.

So I was researching the Master Cleanse (lemonade diet), and I really don't think I want to do that because of the rapid weight loss, and it just seems to me that I'd be fooling around too much with my metabolism and causing more harm than good.

Does anyone have any recommendations for how I can mix up my diet for a week or so (maybe with juices/smoothies) to feel refreshed & re-energized? I already eat a green salad every day, along with carrots and two pieces of fruit. Has anyone ever tried beet juice?

I guess I just need a boost - heading into fall & winter and I'm already starting to feel myself dragging.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
