did you vote already?

I have never voted in my life much to the disaproval of my DH.
I went to get my hair cut and when I had gotten back DH had gone to vote.
When he came home I asked him if it was crowded, he said no so I told him to take me and I would vote. But I reserve the right to chicken out if I want to, I told him.

We had to go over to Jester Park Lodge only 3 miles away. It is a beautiful log cabin type building, huge rock fireplace and all these stuffed animals all over and a beautiful deck off the back overlooking the lake.
My Dh and I were like "wow I'd like to live here this would make a cool house."
oh, and no lines. I had to fill out a few forms so it took me a few minutes longer but I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

Dh and I voted for the same person for president. We lauphed because his parents voted for the opposition so we cancelled out thier votes. LOL. The four of us could have just stayed home.

I voted this morning. No line for me, but LOTS of people voting. Steady stream of people coming in and out of the polling place. I brought my kids with me, like I always do for big elections. They watched me fill out my ballot, slide it in the scanner, make sure the ballot count went up by "1" and then we all got stickers. It's wonderful to see so much interest in an election!

I went during the day and it was not crowded at all. The whole process from the time I arrived to the time I left probably only took ten minutes max.

I did BM2 Scrambled Eggs premix at 5am and went to vote all sweaty at 6:30 AM. There were lines, but they had no one for A-E so I got to skip to the beginning of the line! Took about 20 minutes. My voting place is a church about 4 blocks from my house.
