Did you notice your w/o ability difference from early monring to late days....

I read a few threads about good things to split w/o morning and night. I finally got to try it last night. I did KPC premix KPC with Leg 82min. I was surprised that I was not so out of breath like I did them in the early morning. I could even finish most of jacks and jumps. It seems like my ability improved which I doubted it. Did you have have the similar experience that you feel different when you are doing the same workout but different time?

In my case, should I change my w/o to night so that I can push myself a little bit further?

Thanks

I am almost positive that I would have more energy to put into my workouts if I did them in the evenings, rather than first thing in the morning. I literally roll out of bed, throw on some workout clothes and get going. If I could work out in the evenings regularly (if my schedule would permit it), then I would because I know I could put more effort into my workouts at that time. But that's just me. I can't speak for anyone else. I'm sure it's an individual thing.

RE: Did you notice your w/o ability difference from ear...

It is harder for me to get motivated in the morning but as far as what I am capable of...I have not noticed much of a difference depending on what time of day I exercise.

I don't have any strength in the morning, so I can't weight train in the morning. I can do cardio any time of the day, although I notice that I fall off the step more and lose track of the choreography more easily when I do early morning cardio. It gets better if I have breakfast first with lots of coffee, of course.

when I go back to work, I do my cardio in the morning and then weights in the afternoon. I am so tired after work that I can't do any cardio. Weights is something I don't dread as much in the noon time. And yes I did trip over my step and bang the wall at 5:00 one morning. That was so embarrassing!! Imagine being embarrassed and you're the only one in the room.Strange huh!'

Plus I don't have the time to fit cardio and weights all in the evening. Helping kids homework and cooking seems to take alot of the time.

I notice a big difference working out in the afternoon/evening opposed to my usual 5Aish. Any of the cardio DVDs seem a bit easier. Doing weights doesn't seem to make a difference though. For me, however, it's just easier to get the work out done earlier than later. I seem to lose my motivation by the end of the day especially running here and there with my kids. If I wait until after they are asleep (8-9P), I'm too tired. Maybe when we're back on school hours for bed (7-8P), maybe I'll reconsider that.

If you feel better working out at night, I'd go for it. :)

I definitly notice a difference between am and pm workouts vs. how I feel doing them. I have no energy to workout in the morning. Once in awhile, I'll be able to muster up am activity but that's rare and unplanned...if I feel up to it and the time is right, then I'll workout in the morning. I do most of my workouts sometime in the afternoon or evening. Thankfully, my student work/class schedule permits this...I'm sure things will change one day but for now I'm comfortable with pm workouts. Actally, this past year, I tried 2 9 am body sculpt classes at my university fitness center, the first time, I felt like i had zero strength and was sluggish, the second time I actually had to leave the class and the EMT had to come make sure I was ok, MAJOR hypoglycemic attack I think?? I'm not diabetic but I think I have reaaaallly low blood sugar in the morning. I even was up for about 1.5 hours prior to the class and had had cereal and fruit for breakfast...and also drank plenty of water. It was scary, my vision slowly disappeared and I thought I was going to faint. Anyway, sorry for rambling, but that's my long winded way of saying thankfully, I have the luxury of swearing off morning workouts for now.

I can only work out in the morning, on an empty stomach. I tried adding a second workout later in the day, but I just couldn't do it. I have no problem with energy levels, after all, Cathe and crew are right there with me!

Lsst night I did Step Works for the first time, so it was a little slow going, but this morning I tried it again and I had no energy, so tough to get through. My weight training is better in the am and cardio at night. Mind you sometimes there's no energy am or pm. Like Cathe says, it all depends on how you slept, ate etc.

I totally agree. I will arrange doing some light weight or static aerobic together with Yoga or Pilate in the morning. Going serious at PM.

One more question, for those who keep PM w/o schedule, could you share your tip with me how do you keep your discipline not letting daily stuff fails your PM w/o? I sometimes work late, it pushed my w/o. Or my kids wanted to play with me or just wanted me to hold them longer. When it pasts my schedule time, say for example, 9:00pm, I would have really hard time to go to basement to start workout. Any helps are welcome. I found most of your ladies keep such an amazing discipline. That is the secret to success in addition to Cathe's vids.

Thanks
