Did I feel my baby move?

I know they say you won't feel anything until at least 16 weeks but the other night while I was lay in bed on my tummy I felt a strange fluttering in my tum region, then this morning during a rest period whilst doing MIS I felt the same thing again. It was like the back of my fingers just tapping against my skin. I'm 14.5 weeks now is this possible? Please say it isn't unheard of, please!!

Hi! Its definately possible. Are you slim? If you are slim its more likely to feel the baby earlier. I felt my first baby move around 15 weeks. My 2, 3rd and 4th I felt anywhere from 15-17 weeks. What you are describing definately sounds like it.

How exciting :)

I'm so happy for you, its such an amazing thing to realize there really is a little person in there. Just wait, those movements will get stronger and stronger and its just so amazing. What is really fun as you get further along is to watch your belly move, its just the best :)

I say it's possible too. I felt movement a litte earlier this time than I did last time. I would say the first flutters were around 15 weeks. This is one of the best things about being pregnant. I love to feel that movement. Just wait until you're just sitting there and you jump because your baby kicks so hard. People that have never been pregnant look at you like you are crazy. I also love to see my baby move my tummy. It really is wonderful!!!!!

Oh my goodness!!! :) I thought those flutters were baby. I hoped they were. WOW

I can't wait to get those hard kicks, I just can't wait.

:) :) :)

I remember feeling the first movements with my first two pregnancies right around the 14 week mark. I've read that the thinner you are, the earlier you can feel it.

This time around, I am 18 weeks currently and still feel as if I've hardly ever felt the baby move. I know I've felt him/her a few times, but not much more than that. I think I'm so much busier this time around that I don't stop to feel for it like I did with my first two. I used to lay on the couch at night for a couple of hours with my hand on my tummy waiting.

Enjoy--it's so much fun!

It sounds like movements to me...my absolute most favorite thing about pregnancy (other than post-delivery). Enjoy!!!!!!

Awww, how exciting! I remember those "flutters"! (Even though my babies are 25 & 31! :7)

From what I've read it does sound like the real thing. I think it is true about being thin and that making the difference. I, unfortunately, am one of those unlucky women whose fat accumulates in the abdominal region and I didn't feel my twins until 20 weeks. But I remember so well that wonderful rippling sensation under the skin. Around the same time, I got the first of those intermittant semi-painful leg pokes that were also kind of cool. Congratulations!
