Okay. I have been in this neighborhood for 9 years. Well, I have been through a few weird things around here, which is really a normally peaceful neighborhood.
I have seen the lady across the street from me die mysteriously on X-mas day. There was police crime scene tape around her house last X-mas as well as several detectives & then a biohazards clean-up truck a day later.
I have also had a drugged-out, hallucinating young guy jump into my bushes begging for help on New Years at 2 AM. I swear, my neighborhood is nowhere near the susceptible neighborhoods for this type of activity.
Anyway, my point to begin with is, the single lady next door, which always had far too many different cars in her driveway at night, moved out & the new people are moving in today. The first thing I see being unloaded is a bunch of fitness equipment. That's pretty promising, I guess. My competitive nature would certainly kick in. I'm just feeling a bit apprehensive about our new neighbors, given my previous experiences. I guess it's a normal. I really should give up peering through my blinds.
Thanks for letting me vent.
Marla
