Did anyone lose their breast when they lost weight?

I can relate to the tube sock reference. I'm not sure how much of them I lost and how much just went south. Waaaaaaay south.

I lost mine!! I lost 30 pounds, went from a very full C cup to a barely there B. Some B's are too big for me, which was somewhat depressing!

I decided I would reduce the chest work. I know many of you are against the idea and it will create un-balance results. So far, it has worked for me. I am nicely toned everywhere and still able to kept the cups!! I am still doing the push ups but that is about all I do for the chest.

Wonder why it is that I can lose or gain in my chest much easier in my bottom half. My stomach has more of a pudge than I would like, but when I had a flat stomach I was sickly thin.

I wish I could be a size B. but my chest is going to do what it wants to do.

well I'm really late chiming in here, but I did indeed lose all breast tissue back when I lost 150 lbs at the age of 16. That was around 1992. I wish you all could see the before pictures but I have no idea where they are. I looked like a really obese old man!! After 6 years of maintaining my weight and serious cardio/weight training, I realized I could do no more toning on my own and in 1998 had two separate surgies (first one 8 hours, second one 6) to remove excess skin and get breast implants. I have maintained my look ever since. I am now 29. I am very happy with my body and feel the best I've ever felt. Working out with Cathe has even intensified this look for me. One day I'll get pictures up of myself!

Everybody's body has a preference for where it likes to store fat, and this preference is determined by genetics. Not much you can do about genetics, unfortunately. A lot of people, myself included, tend to store fat around the hips, thighs and buttocks. It's the first place we gain weight, and the last place we lose it. Other people tend to store around their abdomens - again, this is the first place they gain weight and the last place they lose it. Breasts are weird though, in that they don't really seem to follow the pattern. Breast fat must be much more mobile than fat stored in other parts of the body.

I lost a little over 65 lbs and went from a 42C (sometimes D) to barely a 36B. I think I need an even smaller bra but haven't gone shopping yet. I love being smaller now. However, I am a bit distressed that even though my waist/hip/thigh measurements haven't changed in a few months, my chest keeps getting smaller.

I'm an A and proud of it. I love being small - no pain when running - xs shirts always look great. If you are proportionate I think it looks fine.. never wanted big boobs and glad I don't have them :)

> I was listening to a radio station this morning and they
>said that you could not lose your breast by losing weight. I
>wanted to call in and tell him that he was dead wrong.

Tell HIM to BUZZ off, Jerk! Go get a real job & YOU stop listening to his asinine comments. I mean, REALLY!!! I'm about to get a coronary!!!!!

Marla

P.S. I bet HE can't lose much of his b*lls with weight loss because I bet there wasn't too much to begin with!!!!

You are a trip girl. That's how I felt this morning. I think people are ignorant to losing weight. I ran three years ago and ate right, and people got all in my face about that I'm not eating. There was no way I could lose eating 5 or 6 times a day. Finally I just shut up defending myself.

I think that having children affects it too. My boobs are so much different now that I've had a child and breastfed than they were before becoming pregnant. They did get smaller when I first lost weight PRIOR to becoming pregnant, but they are so much different even from then. And it was immediately after I stopped lactating. They're much squishier.

LOL! Marla you are too funny!

Wow! All this time I was blaming breastfeeding as to the reason I am now a 34A. I wasn't that big to begin with. I do think that pregnancy/breastfeeding does change them overall. Like Donna said.

Yes, I lost my boobs..."Boobs...boobs where are you...oh there you are ..down there?" LOL Seriously I went from a 36 C cup to a very padded Victoria's Secret Very sexy 34 B, and B is pushing it..I am more like an --A cup but I refuse to buy an A cup bra damnit!! I went to Kohls to buy one of those padded champion sports bras(which I love btw) and I tried on a few A cups and they were too big...lolol..I thought I was going to die!!

I am planning a Breast augmentation in the near future...I am now working at a plastic surgeon's office in their Operating room and everytime we do a Breast Augmentation..I just wanna jump up on the table and say "Me next..Me next"..LOL!!!

:) :D :p :+ :7 :9 ;)

A full 36C to a smaller 34B1/2 (I usually go with the C but it depends on how the bra is cut. I'm happy with the size but would like a procedure to reverse the effect of gravity!!

It is genetic too. Genetically, I most likely store fat almost first in my breasts (hence my D's). When I am fit, but not excessively lean, I stay at D. When I was borderline anorexic, never lifted weights and weighed 96 pounds and looked like a scarecrow, I had B's-C's. So for me, unless I am on a very rigid diet, I won't drop below D's. If I got my diet cleaner right now I may be able to reach C.

I wish I could lose my boobs. I hate them.

Oh you can definately lose weight in your chest!!! It is made up of fatty tissue so why would they say you couldn't lose it just like fat anywhere else on your body? Odd. I never really had much of a problem because I was small to begin with but I have seen plenty of women lose size in thier breasts with weight loss...You are not alone and that radio station is crazy! lol
