Did anyone combine STS strength and kettlebells?

I started my STS rotation yesterday. I am going to do 2 days of cardio since thts all I can manage right now. Im thinking of doing one HIIT workout per week and maybe a kettlebell workout. Do you think kettlebells are too much while on STS and I should stick to regular cardio? Thanks!

I just started STS last week, and I haven't mixed it with KB, but IIRC, some people have, but not as separate workouts: more like doing KB swings in the place of some exercises in the lower-body workouts.

I can also see doing a primarily lower-body KB workout as a second lower-body workout during the week (so STS upper body on day 1, lower body on day 2 or 3, upper body 2 on day 4 or 5, KB on day 5 or 6 and day 7 off.
 
Somewhere I saw (here or at VF) that someone did swings during the rests in Meso 3 on the leg workouts, turning it into more of a cardio / weight circuit. Interesting concept.
