Hi,
I've been working with PS, MIS, Interval max and my treadmill for the past 2 months. The other day I thought I'd attempt MIC, hi/lo portion only, just to shake things up. Now I haven't done this workout since before my 2 kids were born (about 2 yrs.!) and I remembered it being awfully hard - certain parts of the hi/lo and step were just way past my ability, and I only completed the entire workout once. Well the other day I whizzed right through the hi/lo (ok I was sweating like mad but it was totally do-able for me), and then felt great so I kept on going and did the entire step, with blasts at the end too. And I was able to get throught my "trouble spots" in the video without stopping or modifying! I was so thrilled. I attribute it to my hard work in doing Interval Max once a week(with modifications at this point!) and my treadmill workouts. Also, I am seeing cut shoulders and some leg muscles poking through down there. I'm planning to take my kids (1 and 2 yrs.) to the beach a lot this summer and I don't want to feel fat in my bathing suit. I'm psyched. I may get S&H next to kick up the muscle building. What do you think?
Just wanted to share. Thanks for reading!
