Hello,

I have just order all 3 Gym Style DVD's. All I would have to do is do the Gym Style workouts to get the results I want? Do you do Gym Style workouts or are you beyond that and due your own free style? I guese what I'm trying to say, lets say its bis, tris, and shoulder day do I just pop in the video do it and that its for those muscles? Would you be able to give me an sample workout routine in corporating the Gym Style DVD's? One more question, when I do my running on the treadmill I run on incline of 6% would that be consider a leg workout? How about the Gut and Glutes, would that be more of a cardio day workout or could I use it as leg workout? Thanks Debbie for all your patience!

Hi again!
Yes, I got EXCELLENT results using Gym Style. I mixed them up with Slow & Heavy too. My rotation went something like this:

WEEK 1

Day 1: GS Chest & Tri's
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: GS Back, Bi's & Shoulders
Day 4: Cardio
Day 5: GS Legs
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Cardio

WEEK 2

Day 1: S&H Chest/Back
Day 2: Cardio
Day 3: S&H Tri's/Bi's
Day 4: Cardio
Day 5: S&H Legs/Shoulders
Day 6: Rest
Day 7: Cardio

Then for week 3 go back to week 1, week 4 is week 2. This combo builds nice muscle mass. Go as heavy as you can and work to failure with each of the exercises Cathe does. I ALWAYS take longer breaks between sets then she does, especially going so heavy.

Right now I'm doing my own free style stuff. Have been for a couple years now. I use Cathe's workouts for ab work and stretching.

Running on 6% incline does not build muscle. Yes, it works the legs indirectly, but you will not get muscular from it. Be careful doing that, it's hard on the low back and joints. Doing a 6% incline for a minute or so is good, but not for longer then that.

Butts & Guts is considered a leg workout. I wouldn't catagorize it as "muscle building" but you will get defined doing it. Same with Legs & Glutes. There is a "cardio" factor in those workouts so you will burn some major calories doing them.

Would it be ok doing legs on my running days? Now like I said before I like to keep my legs lean but moscular. I'm 5 feet tall so I don't want to look to thick and bulky on the legs. Thanks again Debbie!
