Deanies Rotation Check In Saturday 3/24

Good Morning!

Today was GS legs for me. I ended up doing the 48 min. timesaver premix and I really liked it. It was just right! My DH wanted to use the elliptical before work, and we slept in this morning, so I ran out of time. I would do this workout again, it only cut out one set of squats, the second set of deadlifts the slow count lunges, and calf work.

Tomorrow is my last day of the rotation. It calls for a 30 min. interval run, which I won't be doing. I am going to do CTX step and intervals warm up and intervals then do the power circuits without the leg weight work. I thought of it myself, I'm looking forward to it:)

Hello, and happy weekend.

Today I was going to do KPC but since I had just done a leg workout yesterday I didn't think that was a good idea. So I decided to do a premix of step and Hi/lo. It was fun except for one thing.....I had no sound. Talk about difficult! I was trying to read Cathe's lips and I had to concentrate so hard on every move. It was weird for it to be so quiet in the room except for my heavy breathing. Ha!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Today was DM all cardio and G&B stability ball abs. I am planning to run/walk for 30 min. later today. I'm wanting to fit in a little run twice a week now that I am able to again! I did KPC last week and had skipped DM, so I did it today. I was DRIPPING...even my hands. When I was visiting my parents last week, my mother was amazed to see even my hands sweat when doing CK. I guess I am used to it.

Deanie--What will you do for the next 2 weeks until we all start the next rotation?

Tracee--I'll bet that was quite a challenge to workout without the sound. Was it the dvd or your player?

Tracee- that must have been a hard workout- in more ways than one!! Good for you for doing it. I would have skipped it with no sound!

Gin- I don't know if you saw my last post yesterday (check it out) - congrats on getting in to the road trip! I also mentioned some places to go in Philly. Next week I was going to do PS when you all do GS and do the same cardio as you. Then I was going to take a rest week before the big X rotation! I'm pretty sure I'm still going to do that, but I'm kinda tired of lifting heavy for 4 weeks, and I was thinking of maybe doing a 2 day split and a circuit- I'm not sure yet, I'll see what I feel like on Monday.

Hi ladies,

Sounds like you all had great workouts today. Today is my rest day. DH and I went on a motorcyle run to benefit the Children's Hospital. It was a little cold but it was a nice ride. If DH falls asleep early, I might try to do KPC; if not I'll do it tomorrow. I'm always sweating buckets with that myself.

This week is the last week of my rotation and then I'm going to do the P90X recovery week and hopefully I'll be rested up for heavy lifting again.

Talk to you guys tomorrow.

I did see your post yesterday about the different things to do in Philly. Thank you. I have never been there before.

Marcy--I am impressed that you have the energy to do KPC tonight!!

I think I may try to do some of the Timesavers, maybe HSC or Jari Love in 2 weeks before our BIG X rotation. I want to try some easier (is there really such a thing with Cathe!! }( )and some fun workouts that I don't usually see in the rotations.

Thank you all for the kind words about my getting a place on the Road Trip. I feel very lucky and quite excited. Again, just wish you all were going!
