Good Morning Girls :)

Today was Imax and abs #3 on ab hits. A great workout. I really enjoy Imax, it always goes quickly and I work hard. My favorite Imax's in order are 3,1, and then 2.

Today is DS's 11th birthday!!!!:) His party is next week, but today his best friend (who can't come to the party) is coming for the day and a sleep over! And the sun is finally shining- so we'll probably spend most of the day at the pool!

Cheryl~ A little about me: I'm 42 years old, married for 13 years this Nov. and I have 2 sons;11:), and 7. Their new joke now is they are "7-11" like the store. ha ha!

Marcy~ Is this the last day for the X for you. I am looking forward to seeing pictures!!

Tracee~ I hope you had a good workout today!

Are we writing what we eat?
snack: cashews(I have been having a handful-non salted/non roasted- before I workout lately)
breakfast: 1 c. steel cut oats/banana/tea
lunch: egg white cheese omlete/toast
snack: 1 c. strawberries/blueberries w/1/2 container of Dannon vanilla yogert
dinner: DS has requested rice and beans! green beans, challah
I don't usually have all the meals planned out, just with the bday celebratiion its easy!

Have a good day all
BBL,

Good morning everyone.

My workout today was PS-Chest, Shoulders and Tri's. I couldn't find the sheet from the last time I did this workout so I had to just guess at the weights that would be good for me. I did pretty well because I was fatigued by the end of each routine. I'm also a little sore from Core Syn. yesterday and it's the perfect amount of DOMS I think. Just enough to let me know that I worked those muscles but not so much that I'm miserable.

Cheryl - Here's my info. I'm 37, have 3 kids, 11,8 and 3. I am a CPA and live in Michigan. I'll celebrate my 14th wedding anniversary in September.

Marcy - Congrats if this is your last day of the X. Was this your second time through? I really have been thinking more about buying the whole system but I just can't spend the money right now. I'm going on a shopping trip in a couple of weekends and I'm trying to save up for that.

Have a good day.

Tracee

Today was Core Syn. It was a real sweatfest for me this morning. I was also real tired because I went dancing last night. I guess you can't burn the candle at both ends. My biceps are really hurting this morning. Final stats for Core Syn:

Stacked Ft/Stacked Hand pushups: 35
Prison Cell pushups: 10
Side Hip Raises: 19 each side
Plank to Chaturanga Run - This, along with chinups/pullups has got to be the hardest move for me in the X. Still can't go the full minute yet but it's getting there.
Walking pushups: went the full minute
Towel Hopping: Up to 40 secs jumping, rest 1 foot to 1 foot
Reach hi and under pushups: Go full minute with leg in air
Dreya Roll - These were feeling good this morning. Added a little jump at the end of them. Did 11.
Plank to Chaturanga ISO - held full minute
Table Dip Leg Raise - 40
Lunge & Reach - 10#
Squat X-Press - 8#
Lunge/Kickback/Curl/Press - 8#

Banana Rolls, Bow to Boat and Superman Banana were tough in the beginning but no problem now.

I have one more day of the X - Stretch X which is going to feel real good to me right about now.

Breakfast: Egg Whites with red and green peppers and onions on a wrap (I ran out of whole wheat wraps, gotta go shopping tomorrow).
Snack: Reduced Fat 1 oz. string cheese
Lunch: Lean Cuisine Steak Tips Dijon with red potatoes and green beans
Snack: Yogurt
Dinner: ???? (Friday night is usually pizza night but we'll see).

Deanie: Happy Birthday to your DS! :) Glad you finally have a nice sunny day. My favorite IMAXes in order are 3, 2 and then 1.

Tracee: No, this is only my first time through but I definitely will be going another round, just don't know when yet. Glad Core Syn didn't make you too miserable. Sounds like you had a good workout today. Have fun shopping!:7

Gin: Hope you're having a nice visit with DS. Are you getting any workouts in?

Cheryl: I'll try and start working on a rotation for you that will closely match ours. To continue, I will be celebrating my 15th anniversary in February. I also love a challenge and a lot of variety. I have over 120 workouts. I love to dance. Wanted to be professional, but that never quite worked out. Right now I line dance once a week for 3 hours (hence my exhaustion on Fridays). As far as lower body weights go, I saw my legs bulking when doing Cathe's leg work with weights so I decided to go weightless. I haven't noticed a big difference but I also know I'm not eating as well as I should be and I'm sure that would help a lot. I've heard running really helps to trim the legs but running is not my strong suit. I am pretty much an hourglass shape. I don't find I get much out of squats/lunges/leg presses and have pretty much given them up. My butt is high enough as is. As many have suggested on the boards and I can attest, lower cardio has worked for us. When you do too much cardio, you lose muscle mass. I don't know if this works for you. The only way to see is to do a rotation, write everything down and take your measurements when you're done.

Since this post is getting kind of long (sorry, everyone), I'll post a suggested rotation in a little while.

Have a great day everyone.

Marcy

Hi again,

Tracee~ Looks like you got a good workout in today. Any baseball this weekend?

Marcy~ Thanks for the bday wishes! I am interested in doing the X for real one time, let us know when you want to do it again. I am looking forward to doing the new rotation with you. It'll be fun for us all to be doing the same rotation again:)

Gin~ I hope you are having a great time in Florida.

Cheryl~I can't believe I forgot to say I will be a working woman in Sept!!:) LOL! I will be teaching at the nursery school from 9-12 monday thru fri.

I will try and check in this weekend....

Deanie - I forgot to wish your son a Happy Birthday. I hope he has a great one! No baseball this weekend. We have games on Monday night and Wednesday night and then districts next weekend. If they win in districts then they'll continue playing the next weekend.

Marcy - That is so nice of you to put that rotation together for Cheryl.

I'm actually going out tonight and I'm very excited. I'll have the kids with me but I don't go out very often. My stepmom's son is in town from California so we're all getting together to visit.

Hopefully, I won't be out too late and will still be able to get up in the morning and do some form of exercise.

:)

Tracee

Hey Tracee,

Have a great time tonight and have a great weekend! Hope you're able to get your workouts in. Your going out tonight and shopping too? Sounds like a great weekend.

Marcy

Ok, I don't know what happened...I wrote out my whole message and it disappeared when I said 'post' - RATS!!

I'll re-write it (briefer version) sorry if it ends up posting twice:

MARCY - I can not thank you enough for revising the workout for me. I am literally astounded that you took the time and did it. I know you said you would, but I'm still amazed that you would go to all that trouble just for ME! Thank you isn't enough, but it's all I have - so Thank you!!

DEANIE - Congrats on your job...looks like this workout will help you with those kids  Whew!! Happy B-day to your son as well and on obtaining a "7-11" (jk...LoL)!

TRACEE – have fun on your night out! Wish I could go with ya  I’m in MI too by the way.

Tonight I think I’ll do a bit of cardio fusion w/ abs from B&G. I’m feeling rather heavy on the bottom half! Then it’s off to the wonderful world of studying!

Have fun all and thank you again Marcy!!!
