Good Morning Ladies!

Today was GS legs standing only and Core Max2. At least today I was able to do all of those nasty low ends without stopping. I think she calls them slow motion lunges.}( x( }(
Gotta run to the dr. appt and then one more day to work on my classroom.

Good Morning Girls

Today was GS legs standing and coremax 2. I did both and had a really good workout. I upped my weights for legs, except the squats. Sitting here, I feel it already!

stats:
squats: 35#
front lunges: 12#
rear lunges: 12#
plie squats: 2/15#
deadlifts: 40#
slow motion lunges: 5# (really wanted to do 3#!!!!)

Gin~ I answered you post yesterday 99% worried about getting up, but also want a break with heavy lifting before the new series I keep checking the blog waiting for an update!!

Marcy~ Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for a rotation.

Tracee~ Work out today? Weather you workout or not, you must check in with us!!!!

today is another rainy, chilly day. I refuse to be in the house all day again, so I think we may go see underdog today(the movie~ haven't heard good or bad about it so we'll see)

Hi Girls!

I wasn't in the mood to do GS Legs so I did everything on Legs & Glutes except the floorwork. I really like this workout. My heartrate was in the zone for 24 minutes and I pretty much use the same weight throughout so I don't have to be bothered changing weights.

Leg Presses: 13#
Hover Squats - 13#
Back Lunges and Drop Squats - 10#
1 legged deadlifts - 13# - did half with leg raised in back. I really like doing these.
Plie squats - 13#
Leg lifts to side with 2# ankle weights and 13# dbbl
standing quad work - these are tough but it was easier than last time.

I skipped ab work today because my core was still really sore from yesterday. My arms are sore as well. I did Stretch Max 2 which felt really good. My favorite stretch is when you lay on your stomach over the ball and just let yourself hang and then put your hands on the ball and bend back. I get such a good stretch there and it feels great.

Do any of you have Total Body Stretching and how do you like it? I'd really like some more stretch tapes and I know these are a little shorter than SM. I'd like to get the Classical Stretch Series from TV with Miranda (I forget her last name). Everyone raves about these over at VF.

I made up a circuit rotation which I'll post later. Still working on the one body part a day rotation.

Deanie - We have the same weather here. Good luck adjusting to your new schedule.

Gin - Good work on those "nasty" low ends. I don't like them either.

Tracee - I agree, you must post whether you work out or not. Hope you were able to get a workout in.

Cheryl - How's everything? Hope to hear from you soon.

We ended up not going to the movies. Both kids would rather play with their friends! Go Figure:) :)

Marcy~ I like your workout today. L&G is my favorite leg workout. Looking forward to the rotation you've cooked up!

Gin~ How is the room coming? Is next monday your first day of school? or is there a meet and greet day. We have next week for setting up the classrooms and workshops. The week after labor day is meet and greet for tues, and wed. and then school starts.

I forgot to bring my catalog and compendium to work with me today so it'll be at least a day or two before I do the one body part rotation (I want to figure out times so the workouts aren't too long each day.) Here's the circuit rotation:

Marcy~ I was just looking at it! Exciting!:) I think we have about another 4 weeks to go before we get them!!! I looked back to Sept/Oct. 06 on the blog and it looks like 3 weeks at Sony and a week after that we got them!

Monday we start "work week" when we work on our rooms, BUT we are going through NAEYC re-accreditation and the director wants to spend a lot of time going over things with us. So I wanted to have my room finished and it is!:) Next Friday we have a 45 min. "Get Acqauinted Day" with the children and then the first day is Tues. after Labor Day. Did you say you have one class of 18-20 with 3 teachers? That would be a nice ratio. Is is M-F or 4 days a week?

Marcy--I don't have any of Cathe's other stretch videos, just Stretch Max. I like the curcuit rotation. There are quite a few I hardly ever do, so it would be a nice change. I want to print it, but I'm low on ink now.

I hope Tracee and Cheryl have not left us!!:( :( :(

Marcy~ no I don't have total body stretching. I think I'm good with SM and DS yoga, so I don't venture out to much:)

Gin~ yes, we are 18-20 kids with 3 teachers and yes, its a good ratio:) and I will be 5 days a week. Yeah on finishing your room, nice to know you still have a few days, but your ready now. I like being ahead of the game! Just knowing the slow motion lunges are next is enough to make me want to cry!!
