Day off in between

I hope I don't get negative comments for this question, I don't remember seeing it posted. I noticed in the faq it talked about a day off inbetween workouts. For instance chest and back on Day one and then atleast a day off- then biceps and triceps on Day two and then a day off inbetween. Here's the question what if you did on Mon-chest and back and then on Tuesday biceps and tricep because your working a different bodypart wouldn't that be okay? That's still technically 24 hours since working with weights. Thanks for any help with this.
 
As long as you do a different body part you will generally be okay, but remember some muscle groups, like shoulders, are used in working other muscle groups. You would be better off doing legs in your example on the second day as Triceps are also used in many chest exercises.
