Daughters Leg

Hubby took my daughter (14 year old) to her orthopedic doctors appointment and hour away, I could not go because I was up most of the night with another sick child. The doctor was peeved we didn't get her into the oncologist he wanted her to see, he wants to see of they can start her on this IV medication, it effects her kidneys and growth, they have been waiting for her growth plates to close, I told them I tried several times and was told they would call me back and never heard a word! so he made the appointment for us in TWO weeks! that is on my sons birthday. I wish I had gone because hubby didn't know what he was looking at on the x-rays but my daughter says she saw a hole in the back of the bone. So that tells me it is not stable! but that was her telling me though. I am so stressed over this leg. All that she has gone through in since she was born, you can say she has been to hell and back. At the age of three she had Uriter (can't spell it right) reflux where the urine would go back into the kidny when she would potty, had major surgery at that age to correct that, then just a few years ago she spent 5 months in and out of hospitals trying to find the cause of her stomach aches, and now her leg!!
I want a vaccation!! LOL

Barbara, that is so cute what you did with your name! did you do that with paint shop pro and animation shop? I love that

I will keep you update, she goes to the oncologist on the 18'th my son's birthday to boot LOL but that is all they had open and her doctor wanted her in there right away, they are going to start IV therapy with some cancer medication. I am terrified of the side effects!! but if she looses her hair I will cut mine off so she won't feel quite as bad.

Thanks Leslie, no I went to some website with animated names and save it to my harddrive then upload it to my space on comcast.

Leslie you sure sound like one terrific mpm who had a lot of courage. I will say a prayer for your daughter and your family.
