Cathlete
Hi Ladies,

I went downstairs, started laundry and put in disc 16. Then I heard water running on the floor....the water did not stop running when the washer was full and it was running over onto the floor....:mad::mad: I ended up going to get a washer and the earliest it can be delivered is Wednesday. I want some good luck.

No workout to report as of yet and it may not happen today.

I hope everyone else's weekend is going better than mine! Off to find a laundromat.

Di, sorry abt the washee mishap! Did you get a work out in?

I did D31, combo and blast 3 from HIS three times in a row (pretty much figured it all out by the end too! ), and ended w/weighs only of weights n platrs ab circuits.

I want to bang out STS legs in the morning but my quads r still pretty sore so I may have to delay it more...

BBITAM!

Hello, Ladies.

I've been flitting about the country and don't always have email access. But thinking about you girls inspires me to fit in my workouts even on the go, and even when I can't post! :)

Diana-sorry about your washer mishap. Hope your new one is delivered soon. Did you get a front loader? Two of my friends I've stayed with have had those newfangled thangs, and I've had to get this African gal up to speed. :D

LauraT--I should've mentioned our furbabies . . . it was the first thing I asked when we got the phone call about the fire. They are totally fine. :) They were very afraid during the fire and hid behind the smaller house that is on our property (a small guest house that's on a lower level behind a retaining wall). I was glad they had the good sense to get away and not try to attack it or anything. But I was sad they were so scared! :( One of the Deans from the university is actually living in that smaller house, so they're not totally on their own.

We found out two days ago that our landlord is willing to rebuild. So we just have to work out the details.

I've been managing to get 2 or 3 workouts in per week. Not astounding, but with so much travel, I'm glad to get anything done. And, unfortunately, I've started gaining a few pounds, which is so hard to fight off. But it's happening SLOWLY, which is my goal. My goal is, literally "Damage Control" for two more months, so I'm on the right thread. :D Come September I'll get serious. ;)

Well, I'm obviously behind on reading all the posts and will have a hard time reading 3 weeks worth. Has something big happened that I've missed? Job changes? Babies? New furbabies? Big weight loss?

Good Morning.

Kickbox mish mosh for me this moring as follows:

CTX K/B warm up + arm drills
CK power drills
KPC Hi Intensity Drills
KM Blasts + stretch

Wore my weighted gloves from CTX arm drills thru KPC hid's. YEOWCH!;)

BBIAB for personals...

HI LAURA R!!!!!!!!!!:D

Hi Ladies,

I did Disc 16 this morning, CST. I'm back to healthy eating today too. After eating greasy food which is very unusual for me, my tummy hasn't been feeling very good. It started on Friday with green chili & cheese fries, cheesy potatoes, brats...and just continued through the weekend. I'm back to my norm of plenty of fruits, veggies, hard boiled eggs/whites, and tons of water.

No workout was had over the weekend. I hate when that happens cuz I like to get 2 STS w/o's done on the weekends. Not sure when my new washer will be delivered...hopefully tomorrow but may be Wednesday.

Wendy-Nice mish-mosh this morning. I'm missing step a bit and may throw in Intensity or Imax 3 tomorrow.

Laura-that's great news about rebuilding your house. Do you think it will be ready when you get back? Staying active is what's important, even if its not what is considered a true workout. All the activities your doing with your family still count.

Good Morning.

Well I think my poor quads are finally recovered from the wrath of Zuzanna but I'm not going to brutalize them quite yet with STS ;) so I will do Disc 33 (SBT) this morning instead.

Diana, All that grease tastes great going down but after that it's not great at all, is it? :( NICE work outs y'day! Well LauraT left for a week on a white sandy beach with her DH y'day, LauraR is flitting around the states somewhere on vacation and poor Lori is sick as a pregnant dog so it looks like it'll be just you and me for a bit!

Morning Ladies....well Wendy. Our group is dwindling. My legs are sore from bootcamp last night, but I'm yearning for some step. I was thinking Imax 3 but am now leaning towards Imax 2. I weighed today and am still up a bit from the weekend indulgences.

My new washer is being delivered today. DH is going to tear out the linoleum in the laundry room and put some new down this morning before they arrive with our new washer.

Diana...No no no-you are phrasing it all wrong girl!;) Don't say "I'm still up a bit from the weekend's indulgences."...Say "I'm down a bit more after the weekend's indulgences. Should be back to where I was soon..." or something like that. Make is POSITIVE statement, not a NEGATIVE one. :):):) Have fun with IMAX2! GO DH-putting down a new floor before the washer arrives! That's awesome! :)

Well aren't you miss positivity today!:D You're right, representing in a positive light is always better!! I'm back to my healthy eating and am feeling lighter already...drinking tons of water is helping too. Another 2 days and I should be back down....:)

Imax 2 was awesome this morning, used 2 risers and loved it. I still need a new HR monitor but it will have to wait for a bit longer, maybe my bday.

DH called and said my new washer has been delivered....2 1/2 hours early. The new flooring is not down but it doesn't matter. It doesn't need to go under the machines anyway. It's more so I don't have to walk/stand on a cold cement floor. Anyway...I want to go home and do laundry now!

Diana:: Enjoy your new toy! :D Amazing that it was actually delivered EARLY! That almost NEVER happens! It's amazing how quickly a body can recover from a short lived splurge of over-indulgent eating if we get right back to business. My A/C trips are not causing nearly the havoc on my results that I expected them too! I gain a couple pounds of bloat that go away in just a few days as long as I pull back tight on the reigns the minute I get home! :) IMAX2 with 2 risers? YIKES! You are a brave soul! Good job!!!!!

Good Morning, Diana! :)

Today's work out was Body Rock as follows:

Burpee Reptile Exercise Challenge (1 exercise-max reps in 10 mins-I did 70)
Pretty Fly Exercise Challenge (2 exercises-max rounds in 10 mins-I did 11.5)
500 Mountain Claimbers Challenge (1 exercise for time-6m 35s-gimme a break here, I was exhausted already! :p)

Total Time: 26m 35s. :eek::D;)

What did you do? So how do you like the new washing machine?

Good Morning,

I love my new washer...it's huge. The load cycles are very long....ugh...I'm sure I'll get used to it though.

Today will be disc 17 I think..legs.

Wendy-gotta love those BR w/o's. I just saw one the other day that looks pretty killer. It was a 360 rep w/o I think but looked really tough.

Lori-come back girl. We want to know how you are doing? Take care of yoursefl.

Diana-How long are the wash cycles on the new machine? It doesn't give you a choice? Mine goes from 6mins up to 15 or something like that. I saw that BR work out too. Looks tough! I'll do it one day! ;)

Lori-Yes! Come back and let us know how you are!

Wendy-you select the type of wash, whites/Bedding/Towels/casual wear etc and it has predertimened time based on your selection. Most loads are 45-120 minutes based on the type. It has a short wash cycle which I think is about 30 minutes, but I haven't tried it yet. The barrel is HUGE, it's awesome. I looked up onling last night and found out that High Efficiency washers take much longer than the "old style" washers. My washer was 15 yrs old, my dry is 13 yrs old and we'll probably be replacing it as soon as we pay off the washer.

No workout yet, supposed to be legs...may have to do that tomorrow morning.

OMG Diana! I want a way to make laundry a more efficient job TIME wise not energy wise! I'd gladly pay an inflated energy bill for the convenience of lightening fast washing and drying! OY! I'd be using those 30 mins settings ALL.THE.DAMN.TIME.!!!!:p I can def appreciate the HUGE barrel though cause mine is so small. It's extra large capacity but b/c it's a stackable that's still pretty small. :( Oh well. Nothin' can be done about that until either A-we are out of this house (not happening all too soon me thinks) or B-I quit exercising (HAH!) cause that's where the washer/dryer is and I can't afford to lose what little space I have to full size units!

OK. Continuing to flit around the US! Leaving NM to go back to TX for a short weekend before heading off on our next trip . . . this is work though next week . . . a conference where DH has to network for the university we're building. Should be some fun thrown in. We get to see co-workers while we're there. :)

Y-day's workout was an hour of biking a bike-surrey around town. DH and I were the bikers and the 3 kids were the passengers. Definitely more qualification for Cycle Max! JK. So happy to get "workouts" thrown in during daily activities. 2 days ago I actually managed a "real workout": Ilaria's Power Strikes (I think #4) which is great because it's toning without any equipment.

Diana--so glad you love your new washer! Sounds amazing. I may be in the market for a new machine. I have to hear the verdict on mine. It was in the one area of the house that was safe, so the machine is still intact. We just have to hear from the electrician if the wiring is shot since the fire was electrical. We'll see. Maybe I can get a huge machine like yours. I always have TONS of laundry! :)

Wendy--I continue to be astonished at your mish moshing. I HATE trying to piece together workouts. Traveling is driving me crazy because I have to decide what I can fit in and what I'm in the mood for based on the circumstances. I LOVE having my routine!! But kudos to you. Sounds like you've had some good workouts.

Morning.

Today's w/o was BM2 combos only + Jillian's BFBM circuits 4(abs/core)-5-6.

LauraR:: Funny-you love your "ROUTINE" while I love to mix things up to eliminate boredom. Mish moshing keeps me goin'. As long as I don't over-think it, it's a lot of fun. Here's to hoping your washing machine can be saved!!!

Diana:: What's on the work out agenda for this morning?

Late post today. I tried to post this morning, but my laptop does automatic updates and restarts itself. It just so happened to be during my post this morning.

I did Disc 17, legs and am getting ready to head to bootcamp class tonight.

Not sure what I'm going to be able to get done next week since the girls will be here. I'm going to try to get the next week of STS done this weekend. I have one more disc to finish this week, and if I do one Sat/Sun/Mon...that'll be good. We'll see what happens.

Laura-Definitely want to have the electrical checked out. I still can't believe you lost your house. I know just "things" were lost and "things" can be replaced, just the same....my heart goes out to you and your family. Sounds like you pulling your family around is great exercise. I think you should send photo's of that for your spin audition!:D

Wendy-Nice mish/mosh this morning girl! So far I love my new washer! Hope to get a new dryer now too....one that can hold everything I put in the washer. My dryer is also large capacity, but it's 13yrs old. My old washer was large capacity, but nothing compared to what I have now. Not sure what I'm going to be able to get done next week since the girls we be here. I'm going to try to get the next week of STS done this weekend. Good luck this weekend!!!;)

Lori-come back missy, we miss you!

Good Morning.

Well I was up til 11pm last night getting packed up and ready to go down to A/C this afternoon. Staying up that late on a "school night" is UNHEARD for me! Needless to say I am tired and was moving slow this morning so I didn't have the time to do STS Legs nor did I feel good about taking such heavy lifting on with such little sleep under my belt. That being said, completion of STS will be delayed by just one more work out  but it shouldn't be too difficult to fit in....

What I DID do, because I figured I should still focus on the lower body is Body Rock's Wild and Free work out that I've been looking at. It's 25 (sandbag) swings per arm + 100 hi knee jump rope reps x 10 rounds for time. I used my 20# K/B for the swings. I finished the work out in 24m10s and it kicked my butt and was a bit of a puke status work out as well!!!! I definitely recommend it! ;) I finished with STS Extended stretch. It was perfect. :)

Diana:: OMG how I HATE those automatic updates! They've cut me off more then once when I was in the middle of something! Yes, you definitely need the new dyer now. It only makes sense you know! ;) Good job with D17. How was BC class? Have fun with your girls! No worries about the work outs. Do what you can -perhaps its a good time to have a BR week b/c they are shorter w/o's!- and STS will be there after the girls head back home! :)

Good Morning,

I'm running a bit late myself, but not due to lack of sleep.;) Bootcamp kicked my butt last night, my glutes are so sore this morning. I'm sure it's a combo of legs yesterday and BC last night. On the bright side, I slept great.

Wendy-have a great time this weekend! It may just be me around the next few days. Nice w/o this morning. I'm trying to decide what to do, something ab focused is needed. I may even do and Insanity w/o.

Laura-what do you have planned for the long weekend?
