***DAMAGE CONTROL***WK of July 4th

Diana...My work out was definitely BR inspired. I thought I remembered a simple work out of hers being just 20 mins of jumping rope. Looked for it this morning. Couldn't find it but just decided to do it anyway. I switched up styles of jumping every minute to alleviate boredom factor. Not easy! :eek: You may not get to see them often, but when you DO have the girls it's always for a nice extended stay. That's really cool for all involved! You and DH and DS get alot of time w/them and mom gets a good break. :) Sorry about the hub-bub with the BC classes. That stinks. :( Hope it gets worked out sooner rather then later.:rolleyes: Nope, haven't heard from Lori. I'll have to go bug her on FB now! LOL
 
TGIF - finally LOOOONG week - come on 5 o'clock!

Morning Ladies

Ysty was day for H### - but today is FRI - and I am counting the seconds till 5:00!!! trying to keep to myslef and keep big mouth shut!:confused:

I did kickarse class tho - one thing a bad day will do is kick my workout in the pants (like it needs it) .. FULL OUT PLYO - did 3 plyo segments - w/30 sec rest - then repeated w/only 15 sec rest for 50 min w/o decreasing reps - finished w/core rolls! :eek: sweatfest!

Today is REST for sanity day! Yes - I am going home - taking my baby dogs for a nice ride in the woods - then I am doing major CLEANMAX on house - re-organizing my closet - and getting all the WORK done so that I will have SAT ALL TO MYSELF!!!! :cool: to RELAX!

Di - I have a GROUP certf. and considering a PTC - thinking of back up plans b/c of work situation - DH says I am over reacting - but I think not - and besides it is always soemthing I said I was going to do -

Wendy - I think I am leaning towards either, ACE or NASM certf ...

OK .. sooooooo keeping to myself - I HOPE - have errands at lunch - then will be waiting patiently for the 5 oc'lock bell to ring!! have a great one!;)
 
Laura:: If you want to stay in the fitness biz then I don't blame you for wanting an additional cert behind you. Gives you more options should you want or need to find another job. If you like PT'ing you could potentially do that full time!!!!!!!!! :D
 
Hi Ladies,

No workout yet, but I did get my HR UP!!! I was mowing the lawn and stepped on a SNAKE....yikes. I hate them and am terrified of them. I had to get DS to come stand watch so I could finish mowing. Wouldn't you know, the girls want to go look for the snake and play with it. UGH

Laura-hopefully the work situation will turn around soon.

Diana:: I am far more squeamish about bugs then snakes. I like snakes actually. Not that I want to play with a wild one and would be scared to death of one that could be poisonous but overall they do not make me run screaming and if I know it's safe and it's someone's pet, I will hold it, etc. No problem. Now try to hand me your pet tarantula and I would die of a heart attack!:eek:
 
less than an hour .. I CAN MAKE IT!!!

DI - eeeek snakes!! IA w/Wendy - MUCH more squeemish about bugs .. but POISONOUS snakes I want them DEAD!!! King snake or black snack .. no prob - but those cottonmouths and rattlers GOTTA GO!!!! :confused: I was jogging a trail once and saw something in road .. thought is was dog or coyote poop b/c it was twirled up like that - got up to it RUNNING full speed .. WAS A RATTLER coiled up - I did a HIGH JUMP HURDLE over it in that would have make Jackie Joyner proud - LOL .. then got down road to try to make sure I wasnt having a heart attack!!! :eek::p:p:p

I get a little "redneck" if I see a rattler on the road - I will stop and run over it .. back over it .. spin off on it .. back and forth till I make sure it is dead!!! :eek::eek: :p:p Hey i live in ALABAMA .. it is allowed!! LOLOLOL

Wendy - I am with you a spider or creepy crawly w/LEGS OMG .. i will break a leg trying to get away from it - like a girly girl gone wild (remember not to long ago the bug incident that resulted in the broken rib)

OK girlies .. about 45 minutes .. and I am outta here - come on 5 o'clock bell!!! I am ready to start this weekend and leave this HORRIBLE work week behind me!!! *sigh*

So ofcourse the scale is up a bit y'day for my official WW weigh in y'day and now this morning it has dropped like a rock to what would be a 1# loss for the week had it reflected this same # y'day!:rolleyes: THIS is why I don't necessarily believe weekly weighing is any better then daily. It's a totally subjective call based on each individual and I will swear by daily weighing til I can not stand up to weigh myself anymore!...Ok rant over! Thanks for listening! :p

Today's work out will be chest and back (disc 34 or 35, can't remember which it is) + whatever-if anything-I have the time and energy to do afterwards. I have a lot of stuff I want to get done this weekend on top of plans I've made with friends for tonight and with my mom tmrw. Hoping it all gets done!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laura--Totally with ya on the bug thing girl! *SHUDDERS*

Diana--Any fun plans with your GD's this weekend?
 
Hi Ladies,

I get to workout today....yeah me! I'm doing whatever the next disc is, Back & Biceps...and a short cardio...probably PCC. I'm actually looking forward to Insanity.

I haven't weighed myself at all this week. I will get back to it on Monday. My eating hasn't been bad, but I've been lacking on the fruits and veggies. Oh, and I've had dessert a couple times which I usually avoid.

Tonight we are going to MIL's for dinner. She usually makes pretty healthy food and I'm sure to get some veggies!

We don't have any real plans with the girls this weekend. We just enjoy spending time with them. DS wants to take them to the zoo and has some other fun stuff planned so I don't want to horn in on his activities with the girls.

I posted some pics on FB yesterday. We go to the nearby elementary school almost everyday and the pics were from several days worth of playing.

Laura-the girls want to go look for the snake this morning. I told them daddy will take them outside, not grandma. I live in a neighborhood and this is just a garden snake but I don't care.

Wendy-ITA with the weekly weigh-in. Of course when you're up they give you dirty looks like you didn't stay on track...most of the ladies were fine, but I've had enough of that and prefer weighing myself at home now too.

Lori-come back girl...how are you doing?

We had to PAY for internet at our last hotel, so we just grabbed wi-fi on the go where ever we could last week. Blah!

At a new hotel today, and we have wi-fi. Ran 3 slow miles on the treadmill today. Slow, but thrilled I could do it with no walking. I've been doing a lot of BodyStrikes and Travel Fit! ;) Also some CCC and HiiT thrown in when I felt I could bounce without waking our neighbors! :p

Hoping these "fill in" workouts will keep me in shape enough that I don't die on the RT!
 
Good Morning Ladies,

My shoulder has been hurting pretty bad lately. I'm sure its from carrying the girls around, pushing them on the swings, and sad to say...but working out too...BOOH.

I was hoping to get going on the next STS disc, only one more week to finish up meso 2. Unfortunately it's CST and the chest works puts a lot of stress on my already painful shoulder. That leaves me with cardio for today, Intensity. I never did get any cardio in yesterday. Realized at the last minute...after I was dressed for my w/o..that I had a laser apt. I did do B&B and Stability Ball abs.

I've been avoiding the scale but will put on a brave face and weigh myself in the morning.

Laura-I think it's terrible that hotels charge for wi-fi. So glad you are able to keep up wiith your w/o's ! I know it's not daily nor as intense as you would like, but something is better than nothing and you are doing a great job.

Hi Ladies,

I did Intensity, Disc 22 CST and S90 abs. I really want to get to my rest week so against my better judgement I did CST. Only 2 more discs to go until I get a rest week before starting Meso 3. I'm going to use my rest week for some hard core cardio and abs!

So I've decided to start tracking with WW again. I think Thursday's will be my weigh in day. I'll have to get on the scale tomorrow and it might be scary! TBH, my eating hasn't been terrible, but need to get back to incorporating all the fruits and veggies again. It's so easy to get off track. I'll go back to daily weighing for a while since it really does keep me accountable.

Diana--take care of your shoulder!! That's a delicate joint! My DH was having trouble with his shoulder to the point that he could not do UB weight work at all. He went to the PT who pointed out some muscles that were tight and some that were underdeveloped. He's been doing 6 weeks of corrective work with resistance bands, and the pain is going away. But he lived with the pain for a year before he did anything, and I'm so glad he didn't injure it beyond repair.
