Damage Control--Weekend

Wonderfully slow, lazy morning. Planning to start my workout in a few minutes. It will be LIC, and I am so excited. That's such a fun workout. Good and solid, but no dread factor.

Poochy--Love your new avatar. Congrats on the National Champ win. That is so fun. I have prayed for your friend and will continue to pray. Glad the news is good so far. Hoping for a very encouraging report post-surgery. Your input about plyo is encouraging. That always has such a dread-factor for me. But it's good to know that you can train and get past it. When I finish my current rotation, I'm planning to do a rotation with more lower body emphasis. I was thinking about using STS meso 3's plyo legs in the rotation. Your comments are making me lean even more that way.

Wendy--OK. Chalene Extreme is another one I've looked at and wondered if it would be good. Just from the looks, I'm wondering if she would be way to girlie and surfer-girl after Cathe. But the workouts look good. :confused: Glad you're having a fun girls-night-out. Hope you get your workout in. I always have such mixed feelings when social activities infringe on my workout schedule. On the one hand, I feel like such a stick in the mud: "Uh, I need to work out, so I can't stay up late . . . " On the other hand, when you're trying to keep a healthy routine, you have to develop continuity and routine . . . . I guess it's all about balance. Hope you get to do it all this weekend . . . have your party and workout too!! :D

OK. I have just been on Amazon looking at Chalene's workouts. I have none of them. Is it worth going back to get Turbo Jam? Or should I just start with Turbo Fire or CLX?

Sorry I have been MIA or did anyone even notice:p? I have gotten my workouts in of course. I can't remember what I did on Thurs....probably just cardio. And yesterday I did Kari Andersons abs, 4 miles on the TM and lower body blast (no cardio burst) I really like that dvd. I think its up there with my favs. I'm gonna have the best hiney in this town!!! And then Im gonna wanna show everyone:D;)

My books and more lulu lemon arrived yesterday. I haven't had a good chance to sit and look through the books yet to see what's involved. I am gonna have to cut back on the training if its to much. My goal is to be done by june-july.....lets see how this goes.

I have a funny story for ya. Did I tell you guys that my old boyfriend works in our local grocery store? I think I may have told you guys this already. And how when I was in GRADE 8 I hearted him sooo much! LOL So of course it was a big suprise to see him when I did b/c I haven't seen him in 16 yrs! I can't believe I am getting that old. ANYWAY....so I go the store on Thurs and he is working. As I walk by him, its just the normal chit chat "how are you....how was your christmas" It was all in passing. I keep on going and I go to the baking aisle b/c I am looking for cookie supplies for my nieces bday party. And here he comes. He says the worse thing that anyone could ever say to you " I need to talk to you about something"! Instantly my heart went up in my throat, why would be need to talk to ME? I don't even know him anymore. Well...he starts talking about how and why we broke up! LOL I didn't know where to get to....I wanted a hole to appear in the floor and for me to magically disappear! I couldn't even look at him. He started talking about this letter I wrote him when we broke up and of course my reaction was " did I? I don't remember" and I think he said something along the lines of " yeah you did...I remember". Seriously?? Did he think I had been dwelling on the past this whole time? Apparently he is trying to right some things he did wrong and he needed to explain to me the reason why we broke up, was not th reason I thought it was. Im not sure if he felt like a dummie after...but he should have!:confused: I think its the most uncomfortable I have been in a long time! Funny in the meantime...but also very weird!

On another note, I weighed today and I am down even more...and I took my measurements. I am 118.3:confused: Thats what happens when I don't get much time to sit anymore. There isn't alot of down time in my day unfortunately.

I am going to try and read the last couple of threads I missed!

O.k...so it wasn't that busy here the last 2 days.

LauraR** Running when your legs are tired or sore is sooo tough! I also did the bike the other day before a run and my legs were like jelly! I hate that feeling. Good job on getting it done!

Laura** How is your friend doing?? You must have been sooooo upset! Thinking about her and you and hoping all is well!!

Wendy** You always have a plan! Do you have THAT many cardio dvds that you can keep doing different ones? LOL HOpe you enjoyed your girls night and your head isn't to big!;)

I did get my LIC workout in, and it was GREAT. I know it well enough to "sell it strong" but I'm not tired of it yet. Although, I have to say, I am awed by those tiny little women using 2 risers on that workout. I am 5'8", so 2 risers isn't that high for me. But Cathe and crew are 5'2". 2 risers on that workout is impressive when you're that height!

Eating has been nice and clean today. Have resisted the brownies all the kids are eating. Supper was yummy homemade vegetable beef stew. Delish! :D
 
Hi Girls.

We had a blast last night. Didn't close the bar which is unusual but went back to BFF's house and yapped until 2:30am and then was up at 8. Yeah, I'm tired! :rolleyes: As soon as I post this I am going for a nap.

Today's work out will be STS Disc 3 and hopefully 30 minutes of cardio if I have the energy AND the time before we go out later.

I will come back for personals after my nap. I'll probably want coffee before I work out so I can catch up while I drink it.

Tonight we are going to a hibatchi restaraunt with DH's family to celebrate my MIL's B'day. I love those places. Should be fun! :D

Lori, no big head here! I had slight case of the "dizzies" this morning but that's it. After getting up and having some water, coffee and breakfast I was fine w/the exception of being exhausted. :)

Off for that nap now. BBL!
 
Okay, I had to literally FORCE myself to work out today. BLECH but atleast it's done....

Criss Cross Cardio Standing Abs

I skipped STS today. I will do it tmrw. No big deal. I just wasn't up for that kind of pounding today.

It took me soooo long to get my arse in gear and do my work out that now I have no time for personals. :(

Gotta hit the showers and head north.
