Good Morning Ladies,
Very busy day yesterday...at work and at home. I was a domestic failure yesterday. As I baking a cake, it started smelling like something was burning and the cake had only been in the oven for 30 min. I open the oven and the cake has spilled out of the cake pan and on to the bottom of the oven....and it was burning. I turned off the oven and cleaned up the mess, but then had to run to the store to get more cocoa powder so I could start again. I'm sure it was a case of too much baking powder. The second cake turned out much better. I also cleaned the oven, well turned the dial to CLEAN. I don't have to do much!
DS wanted to go to Effrain's, an authentic Mexican restaurant. It was delicous of course, but way too much. I had a chicken chimichanga which I haven't had in years. I still have a slight stomach ache this morning. I'm sure the chocolate cake afterwards didn't help!
Wendy-I had the best of intentions but did not work out at all yesterday. I've already been logged into work this morning but will at the very least do a HIIT w/o in a few minutes. I kinda feel like I could get back to STS since I have the tower now.
LauraT-Hope you feel better soon. I thought it would be a more relaxing day working from home yesterday. Just as I was getting ready to go w/o, my boss needed something from me immediately. I sent him what he needed, but then was afraid to be away from my computer in case he needed something again.
Lori-I hate when DH finds my purchases too. I usually don't tell him, but he's the one that intercepts the packages. I totally understand your client. Losing 13 pounds since Jan is awesome. Losing 1-2 pounds per week is the goal. Unfortunately most people, myself included do not lose each week but have ups and downs or plateaus which is very normal. Even weighing each day my weight fluctuates up to 3 pounds. I'm wishy washy too...some days its all about the scale...other days I just don't care. In reality, she may have lost 15 pounds and gained 2 pounds of muscle. WW doesn't care about that, they only care about the scale weight...not the body composition. I'm still just maintaining my 8# loss. I've been up and down...but stuck at the 8# for the past 3 weeks.
Have a great day ladies!
