I'm back...
So I don't think I had mentioned it yet but DH and I are heading down to A/C this weekend. I have to work Friday as I previously mentioned to Di but I am able to "sneak" out a couple hours early. My hope is to be totally packed so that I can just stop home, pee, pick up DH and GO GO GO! Could be down there by 5:30 if I don't have any traffic issues to deal with!
It works out well too b/c my inlaws are watching DS and we will be with them tmrw so DS will just stay on when we head home tmrw night. DH doesn't have work Friday. I'm soooo jealous. I was going to stay home but the only way is to call out sick and that could cost me my holiday pay. Not worth it so I'll be stuck here.
So LBB was awesome. Love the incorporation of the cardio bursts and the gliding disc exercises into the standing work. It starts off with cardio as a warm up which gets the heart pumping pretty good and then moves on to walking lunges. They are done in a different pattern from B&G though and take up more space then I have so I have to keep the door to my room open to allow myself enough space to get them all in. The floor work is awesome. Loved it. No ankle weights (unless you feel you want to use them). Just a firewalker band to start with to burn the outer thighs and then she does ham/glute work without anything but body weight and it burns like crazy anyway!!!!
Abs from STS TB were good but I def prefer the HIGHER REP ab work. I have tailbone issues and the side to side move while leaning back was very uncomfortable for me. I don't even think added cushioning would help that much. I may opt to just do several reps on one side and then switch instead of going back and forth like that.
So there's my mini review. Can't wait for everyone else to get the work outs and try em out! I think (unfortunately) this was the last of being able to try my new work outs until next week. I have HIGHER REPS on the agenda for Tuesday I think. Can't wait! Tomorrow is cardio. I *might* do INTENSITY again (just for fun
). Friday is a rest day only because I need that extra time before work to get my last minute packing done. I will bring a cardio work out to A/C with me for Saturday but Sunday will likely be another rest day. Monday though, I am back in action to work off all of the food and drink from the holiday/weekend!
