Just gettin' us started. I didn't want to get up this morning but here I am!
I will be doing Absolute Kickboxing today I think!

Good Morning!

Up early for a training session. I need to make an appointment with myself and the bed tonight and follow through with it!

I was the last to check in so there is nothing new to report. DS has an apt at 9 and after that I am having coffee with my running partner. I haven't seen her is ages!

Good Morning Ladies,

I did not sleep very well last night. I finally got out of bed around 3 and saw that DS2 had brought my laptop back. I set it up and saw that they were able to install Windows 7. I tried posting to this thread twice and it blue screened and shut down on me. It appears to be a hard drive failure, so I will get that verified by one of the techies at work and then order a new hard drive.

My new dvd's were waiting for me when I got home. I skipped bootcamp and did STS total body. It seems I started too heavy on many of the exercises and had to drop down in weight for the second set. It did seem a little light on tri's and bi's. My plan was to do Intensity this morning, I still may after another cup of coffee.

Wendy-nice w/o today, considering you didn't even want to get up.

Laura-Way to go Auburn. Can you believe it!!! Hopefully things will calm down with SIL soon.

Jacque-Did you get your new w/o's? I'm so excited to give them all a try.

Laura:: Yup High Reps kicked butt. I am still sore in my legs from it today! I think part of that is due to the fact that I rested y'day though. I prefer to do cardio the day after lower body weights. It helps to loosen 'em up and that didn't happen y'day. :rolleyes: Sorry SIL/DB/DN didn't come on T'day. Hopefully she'll get her nose back in joint soon. Stinks that you have to deal with her shennanigans over the holidays. :( What's your DB's take on it? I am sure he is still talking to you, yes?

Jacque:: I am waiting (im)patiently for Cathe to post the December rotation! She'll probably post it late tonight. I will have to jump right into tmrw morning then. My work out will be a surprise! :D

Lori:: Yup, my BFF whom I trained for a year and helped her to lose 30 pounds maintained all along that it was hard for her to find time. BS. She trained with me, didn't she? It's an excuse because she admitted that she doesn't like to exercise so ofcourse, any excuse not to do it and it doesn't get done. She hasn't worked out on any regular basis since she lost that weight! Luckily she's maintained a decent hold on the diet end of it so she's only gained about 5ish pounds back and is able to keep it at that so far. She'd look awesome if she kept it up but I can't force her. I no longer have time to train her and when I talk it goes in one ear and out the other. She's just not motivated enough to make it happen. Oh well. *shrugs* Cute story about your highschool crush. I had one for sure-he was a long term boyfriend of mine from sophomore yr in highschool into my early 20s..about 8 yrs! He's my friend on FB but I haven't seen him face to face in years. I am also friends on FB with the guy I dated (and was in lurve with!) when I was 15-16 yrs old. We met at a roller skating rink. He actually dated my friend and thru that him and I became friends. She dumped him and we continued the friendship and eventually dated. My friend didn't care so it was totally cool. I lost touch with him for about 20 years at some point after we broke up. Finally found him on FB in the recent months. Very cool to be back in touch. I also have a few other X's on there but you don't need to hear ALL of my sordid stories! LOL

Good morning ladies !

Last night hopped on the TM after work for about half an hour - this AM was 35 min of Step Blast since I got up a little late :eek:. Have hockey tonight so don't think I'll finish it up. Tomorrow will be Legs & Glutes.

Hopefully my DVD's show up tomorrow as planned - haven't been back to check on the tracking since the weekend but they hadn't updated at all. Guess the Xmas rush has UPS in a tailspin? :rolleyes:

Wendy - well you'll have to post your rotation quickly then so I can see it in case I have my new w/o's tomorrow ! :p What/who is Absolute Kickboxing? I did order a few DVD's from Amazon - thinking they are based upon your reviews but don't remember which ones other than Jillian's latest ab w/o (me thinks . . . :rolleyes:). LOL about the beau stories. I didn't have many beaus growing up as I was the overweight tomboy. Ah well, less heartache for this ol' gal. :D

Lori - yes ma'am - get your sleep ! Now is the hard time with the hustle and bustle of the holidays and with your new training sessions you NEED to take care of yourself ! Off the soapbox I go . . . ;) Hope your foffee date was a fun one . . .

Diana - woo hoo on the laptop getting closer. Just talked with my IS mgr about getting a laptop for my MIL and he said that with Windows 7 you need at least 1 GB hard drive or it gets hung up. Thought I'd pass that on just in case . . . So I don't have my new w/o's yet . . . hopefully tomorrow. Has been fun to see what all ya' have done - can't wait as they all seem to be toughies and bring on DOMs in different areas than the rest. All Good ! ! !

Jacque:: I think I'll put the Dec rotation in my calandar as is and make adjustments as needed (day to day). I am more apt not to get frustrated and quit on it that way. Can't wait for Cathe to post it! :D So you were a Tomboy? Can't picture it! Did you play a lot of sports? FRIENDS with all the guys? I hated team sports (still do!). I wasn't a tomboy but not a girly girl either. I've always fallen somewhere in the middle.
 
Morning Ladies -

YOWZA .. the DOMS ARE BACK :eek: I did circuit .. but mainly weights and the weight circuits I did sequenced a bit like HR .. YOWZA .. I was thinking at one point . man I cant do anymore ... but I managed .. the class loved it .. said it was killer .. some dropped their weights .. some didnt do all reps .. so it was different for them for sure!! I didnt do pushups but did do overheads and my shoulder is FRIED .. I am gonna have to go to DR about it .. gotta be a tear ... b/c it is not healing .. and I have laid off of pushups for 3 weeks now .. it is aching today .. but it is stormy MUGGY weather out today .. so that is not helping ..

Wendy - I am ready to do the Interval workout .. I may do it tomrrow .. no class and DH on evenings .. so I can go home and tackle it .. ?? .. we will see supposed to be my rest day though ... and DB .. we have not talked .. but he is taking the "I am not in it" stance ... TYPICAL!! :mad: hate to tell him he is in it b/c he is married to it!!! *sigh*

Lori .. funny story about the childhood BF .. I bet he was thinking DANG SHE LOOKS GREAT .. ;) I have one EX on FB .. but we havent really "talked" .. I broke his heart .. :eek:.. but he has a happy family now .. so things worked out for the best!!

DI - man replacing a hard drive on a laptop .. hhmm .. I think I would look into buying a brand new laptop .. see how much difference the money would be .. ???

Jacque .. Hope work is being nice to you .. today is my calm before the storm .. tmrw is the FIRST :( will be INSANE here at the asylum for sure!!

OK .. so getting my hair done today .. leaving early .. then hopefully running to class .. tonight is either going to be ALL step cardio .. or PLYO class :eek: if my poor sore legs can do it!! ok have a great one!!! :D

Diana:: STS TB will have to wait until it's in the December rotation for me. It does not surprise me that you did that one first though. :) I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Intensity. I love it. I did it (in some form) 3x last week! :D

Laura:: What your DB said to you is no surprise. Most men don't like to get in the middle of any type of feminine debacle! They can't handle it! :rolleyes:
 
Hey Girls,

Man...I am feeling nappish. Maybe I should workout but I am enjoying a little bit of quiet time. Maybe I will hold off until tonight although I have two training sessions. I was also hoping my new workouts would be here today but they haven't shown up yet!:( Probably tomorrow when no one is home, then I will have to wait until Thurs to pick them up at the post office! Ugh!

A friend of mine went into the city shopping and I text her to see if she could pick up a few things for DD. There really isn't anywhere around here to buy anything for her that wasn't going to cost a small fortune..

Wendy** Yada, yada...on the no time! We make time! Less sleep...less house work..something. Or it could be traded with your couch time. Its a good chance that they have couch time! Oh you have lots of old crushes! LOL He was the only one that I can think of that broke my heart...LOL. Then when I log into FB last night, DD's "dad" ( I use that word losely) is back on there. It was day of the ex's!

Diana** What a pleasant suprise!! What workout did you do today?? Sorry your still having computer probs. I think your B coworker did something to your computer!!!

Jacque** Crossing my fingers for you that you get your workouts. I know I need more sleep. Tonight I am going to go to bed early, which is why I should probably workout now b/c I won't want to tonight....Im just not in the mood right now.

Laura** Sounds like you taught a good class last night! Hope your having a good day!

Hi Ladies,

I did Intensity this morning. OMG, my foot was killing me. Thankfully it ended about the time I wanted to give up. I loved this workout and can't wait to check out some of the premixes. The cueing was pretty impeccable IMO. I only had a few missteps...no biggie for a first time w/o.

I'm a bit sore today from STS total body last night. Hopefully its better by tomorrow, cuz I'm doing High Reps! Can't wait to give that one a try. Plus I want to preview all the premixes on Intensity. It looks amazing.

Wendy-I'm looking forward to High Reps tomorrow, and am anxiously awaiting the Dec rotation. I will give that a try until my surgery on the 13th.

Jacque-oh yeah, I have 4 gigs of ram and 500 gig hard drive. I'm in good shape there, but the hard drive is failing. I hope to order a new one today or tomorrow. Hope you get your new w/o's tomorrow.

Laura-nice dom's report. Hope the shoulder doesn't have a tear, I know my knee does and it's been about 6 weeks of minimal to none existent cardio and its finally starting to feel better. The new hard drive will be less than $100, a new laptop would be close to a $1000 and that's just not possible right now.

Lori-well maybe you can take a nap now and w/o tonight. I'm not good at evening w/o's normally. My w/o time is in the morning and if I miss it...I end up missing my w/o completely that day.

Diana:: Glad you were able to appreciate INTENSITY despite your foot. So glad you are going for the surgery even though it will put you "out of commission" for several weeks. It'll be worth it in the end though. Excited to have company for atleast some of the rotation! I hope she posts it tonight so that we can atleast have it for tmrw morning's work out! :D
