Damage Control...TGIF!!!!!!!!

Morning Ladies.

Just wanted to get us started quickly.

I did Lower Body Blast this morning + abs from Criss Cross Cardio. Unfortunately I slept in this morning which forced me to do the LBB Standing Work Only Time Saver BUT I HEAVIED up on the weights as a trade off and OH.MY.GAWD.!!!!!:eek::eek::eek: I am soooooo going to be feeling it tmrw! WOW!

Okay, gotta get the troop ready to hit the road!

Hi ladies,

I haven't had a chance to review yesterday's thread. Hope everyone is doing great.

I have to be to work early for a meeting so no workout this morning. Yesterday I was only able to get 25 minutes of Intensity due to time. Last night at bootcamp we did all lower body work, my legs are sore today so I don't feel too bad about missing Lower Body Blast today.

Jacque:: You know what they say-when it rains it pours! :rolleyes: INTENSITY is soooo a Cathe version of INSANITY, is it not!? I lurve it! :D I started the December rotation on Tuesday morning girl! :)

Diana:: Yup ITA, if you worked lower body last night and you are sore from it this morning then absolutely no need to feel guilt over missing LBB today. Ofcourse though, you can always do it tmrw you know! ;)

ETA:: Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested in joining me...I am seriously considering starting a modified version of an STS rotation after the New Year's celebration has ended. If anyone would care to join me I would love to have the company and the motivation to keep going! :)

Hi Girls,

Later check in for me, although I have been doing pretty good lately...if I do say so myself:D

I went to bed at a sensible time last night and I woke up at 6:30. I had a workout session at 7 and another at 9:30. I am on call for my coworker all day. I told her that I would work for her, not even thinking I should probably check with my sitter first! She was going away so I am just hanging out here and if anything should happen I will have to call the grandparents.

I have been busy all morning. I did 8.5 k run outside, have all my house work done and laundry. I feel kinda pooped now.

Wendy** Nice workout this a.m. I will consider the rotation, depending on how crazy my life is in Jan.

Diana** Hope you are having a good day at work!

Hey .. it is crazy insane in here . . YIKES .. uber busy .. gotta make it quick .. GEESH WHATa freaking week (month) .. glad it is FRIDAY:D .. will be even happier when 5:00 rolls around!!! Class last night .. was ALL SHAPING .. and OMG .. I am DEAD .. DEAD .. not quite as sore as first of the week ... thinking tmrw may be worse. But is was a GREAT stress relief workout (I need some stress relief bad) .. dont think my muscles have EVER burned that much during class ...:eek:

Wendy .. so you gonna be hurtin tmr too?? LOL ... I may be up to a mish mosh of STS ... not sure how my shoulder will hold up though ..

Lori .. man u been busy girl .. WOW ..

So ... tonight is DATE NIGHT .. WOOT WOOT!!! ;) and tmrw I am gonna try to tackle INTENSITY for the first time .. that way no guilt when I am consuming CABS during the game ..:p.. We got some people coming over .. oysters and deer loin .... woot woot ... WAAAAAAAARRRRRRR EAGLE BABY .. come on TIGERS win the SEC Championship!!!!!!!

Lori:: Okay, we will talk about STS when it gets closer. You never know with me if I will change my mind anyway! :p

Laura:: Yup, LB DOMS is on it's way and probably gonna be a doozy! :eek: Enjoy date night! Hubba hubba! ;) Like I said to Lori, we can talk STS later in the month. No one is obligated. It's just a thought. Things are always more fun when done with friends! :)

So tomorrow calls for KPC as per the rotation but I am going to a Spreen KB work out (as expected!:p) along with one of the Jillian's 6 week 6 pack ab work outs (they are 30 min ab/core/cardio circuits-2 on the disc). The KB w/o I will do is KB Bootcamp. :)
 
Hiya girlies !

TGIF for sure . . . I am sore from doing L&G and then Intensity back to back. Just realizing it as I am walking around here at lunch time. Thinking I will join Diana in no workout to let the legs take a break. Unless I take a TM walk or something.

Wendy - Good job adding wts to make up for the time you missed . . . makes it worth the workout. Yep - did remind me of Insanity - but easier for me with less up and down to the floor stuff. Better for my back which hurts with jumping right now. OK so you are already started on the rotation. I am seriously thinking STS for the new year . . . Not sure how long I'll be able to keep it up as it seems like I'll be adding communte time mid Feb and how I'm gonna add at least an hour and a half to my day when it seems I work, workout, eat and go to bed now is gonna work. Will take some major adapting and time management. This ol' one needs at least 7 hours to function and I can't seem to get that now. :confused: I will try though - may need to shorten my workouts a little.

Diana - ITA with Wendy and it seems like a break won't set you back. How is it going at work? And when do you get to take your 5 weeks off? I'm not sure I would ever return if I took off for 5 weeks. I can't imagine how much I could do at home in that amount of time . . . including relaxing and doing some 'fun' things for me.

Lori - good job on the run - seems like it has been a while since you ran outside? Productivity deserves a nap - take one and then get to the remainder of your day . . . hopefully without having to go in to work ! :p

Laura - Nice workout last night ! ! ! Sore legs should be our theme here (except for energizer bunny runner Lori ! :rolleyes:). Good to hear it helped with the stress too. I visited with DD last night and when I creakedly got up from my chair she laughed but I told her I have worked out at least 10 days out of the last 12 and when she said I was crazy, I told her it felt GREAT ! ! ! Yep, our demented way of satisfying ourselves, huh? Have fun with Date Night and then good luck with the boys tomorrow. Would be super to win the championship.

Jacque:: I am not positive how I will work my STS rotation yet but one of my ideas is something that you may find helpful b/c of your time restriction issues. I considered doing only 1/2 of an STS work out at a time. I was going to add 30 mins of cardio on afterwards but if you need to save time you can just do the weights. I thought of doing the first half of discs 1 thru 3 and then doing the 2nd half of each before moving on to the next 3. Just a thought if it helps. My other thought is to do only 2 STS weight work outs each week and 4 days of cardio but that's not a time saver. It's a way for me to get in more cardio so that I (hopefully) don't have the same issue with the program that I had the first time I tried it. I can't go through that again. I can't allow that to happen. It wasn't easy to overcome. It took too long to reverse to be just bloat!:(
