Helllllloooo ladies.
I'm the only one in the office today while the boss and another paralegal are in meetings today, so it has taken me a while to get here with the phone ringing all morning

Now nothing is going on and I'm a little bored, but that's okay, I'll take it. It gives me a chance to check in with y'all.
No workout for me to report. The pain in my heel is still aggravating me. I'm not sure if it's the same or any better today. Fortunately though, Fridays are casual days, so I have my sneakers on for comfort.
The kids are on their way home as I type, and I'm so looking forward to seeing them
Wendy: Welcome back, girl! Yeah, I also had a run from the scale screaming episode this week. Can't remember if it was yesterday or the day before, but I haven't gotten back on since. I went out for dinner and drinks with a GF last night, which turned out of be drinks only, and I swear I'm ten pounds heavier today. Drinking tons of water to flush this stuff out! I say we just make sure to get those steps in over the weekend, eat clean, sweat it out, and it'll be much better by Monday. Sounds like you've already started sweating it out with SS

I'm glad to hear you had a great time on your vacation.
Jacque: Hmmm, I'd say probably the most similar Cathe workout to Jari's is maybe Power Hour with it's high reps...maybe. The thing about Jari is that yes, her workouts are low weights, high reps, but they're also compound moves. You're rarely doing anything in a stationary position. For instance, she has you do lateral raises for shoulders while stepping off the step into a squat at the same time. They do get the heart rate up a bit, and with the right weight, you can't help but feel the burn. I haven't had any trouble with the GWF. It has been very consistent. I guess people just have realize that it's a
tool to gauge activity level and calorie burn with, it's not the magic answer to weight loss as some people seem to think they'd get. You still have to watch what you eat and commit to the extra movement, you know? It's definitely unneccessary for weight loss, but for me it was a wake-up call as to how much I really need to work for a decent daily calorie burn to support my weight loss/maintenance goals without drastically cutting my caloric intake. Does that make sense? I don't want to have to eat 1200-1400 calories just to maintain. I'm hungrier than that. BUT, if that's the case, I better be sure to move more, and the GWF showed my just how much more that is. HTH!
Laura: Arhg...you sound frazzled! I hope today is calmer for you, but if it isn't, at least it's finally Friday, right?
Diana: Good point about the sandals. I've also been wearing sandals more, and the other day I wore high heels for my day of meetings. I also had a huge briefcase of files and a laptop I was lugging around while wearing said high heels. That may also have had something to do with this. How'd bootcamp go last night?
Lori: What's up with you today?
'Spose I should get a little more work done before everyone returns. Don't want anyone to think I was sittin' on my butt chatting or anything

Will check in with you all later.
