Damage Control...Super Saturday!

Ladies! Good Morning!

Get this...DH is working today and DS is at MIL's so MOM gets the entire day until 4pm HOME ALONE with no one to bug her but the dog! This is freakin' AWESOME! I am so excited! Then to boot, I am going out tonight to hang with a friend/ex-coworker from my gym job. Fun Fun! Today I will probably do some shopping and some cleaning and my work out. Lucky is having sales at all of their outlets. You can get 2 pairs of jeans for $79.00. There is an outlet about 30 mins from me. I AM SO THERE TODAY!

Today's work out will be f/b weights. I have MIS on the schedule but that is subject to change. lol

Good Morning,

Well we finally got cable back. We switched from comcast to Dish. The guy was here for 4 hours getting everthing wired and setting up the boxes. We now have cable in our basement which we didn't before. Our dvr's are only $6/month, we were paying $14.99 with comcast. We are looking to switch our home phone as well, but will probably stick with comcast for internet. No one can match their internet speed and since I work from home I need to have high speed.

I ate too much yesterday and my tummy doesn't feel too good. My own fault, prepare prepare prepare...and I didn't. KPC is sounding good today! I still have some nice Doms in the back...ala pullups. Nothing feels quite like the after effects from pullups!

Jerod has his last football game today. They have to turn in their uniforms today, and I was one of the volunteers who said I'd wash the uniforms! It's a dirty job, but some one's got to do it.

DS2 came by last night and cleaned our carpets with the Kirby DH bought from him. Of course DH was a huge jerk to him. I felt bad for DS2 and then DH and I got in an argument. DS2 is staying at MIL's which makes things a lot easier for me and Jerod. Really, the few times he does come by and DH has to be a huge jerk.

I'm going shopping at Kohl's later...for the boys. I might even find something for me.

Diana:: Let me know how you like DISH. I have only ever had cable since it came out in the 80's. We have cablevision. They suck in ways just like every other provider but what are you gonna do. We have the phone internet and tv from them and pay about $170/month total for all 3 services. Thought about switching to FIOS but we know someone who did and regretted it. They went back to cable.

Food shopping is done. I have everything unpacked, laundry going, dishes washed, counters wiped down in kitchen. Time to hit the road for the outlets! I will work out when I get back home!

Hi ladies...well at least Wendy anyway. Jerod's team had a pretty good game but ending up losing 18-15 in the last two minutes of the game. Jerod did not get to play at all, and the season is over. He also said he does not want to play basketball or wrestle. Not sure what's up with that, other than football gave him a bad taste. I really wish he would do another sport, but I'm not going to force the issue. He said he wants to play baseball...but they cut kids on baseball and are limited to 3 teams of 15 kids and I'm not sure he can make the team.

I have tons of football laundry to do and get back to the school on Monday. I may just head out for some shopping and do my workout later. It will either be KPC or C&B using the next STS disc.

Wendy-glad you were able to get some new jeans..awesome! We've been paying $240/mo for cable/internet/phone. We lost our bundle discount by switching to dish, but our cable savings more than covers that. I'll let you know what I think in a month or so.

Hey girlies !

Been kinda stayin' away cuz' I'm not a happy camper and haven't been working out. You would think 5 miles on the TM would cause enough endorphins to at least change my mood but it didn't. There goes that theory ! So at least I have a workout to report . . .

Wendy - Hmmmmmm . . . how long is the sale for? I'd love another couple pairs. Retail therapy didn't help last week and doubt it will this week but WTH. I'm gonna shower and soak in the tub (maybe drown my sorrows) and then we have a Sharks game to go to. Hope my negative energy doesn't affect them ! Enjoy your "me time".

Diana - Poor Jerod - it gets tough in high school when sports get competitive and not necessarily there for the learning experience. Do they have any hockey leagues that he could join? Or perhaps pick-up games where teams don't matter? Man it's funny how some men can get with their sons. . . think it is more of the fact that they get disappointed? We are Moms and just feel bad for them. A happy medium would be nice. As parents we need to realize at some point they make their own decisions and we should not try to control them any longer.

I'm still trying to get DH to sign up for something so I can watch the hockey games rather than listen to them on the radio ! Your talk of cable doesn't help my mood ! LOL !

Good Evening.

Well, MIS is done. I will probably be sore tmrw. I did upper body first and then lower. I thought I might skip lower in favor of Tonique or BBL but I just kept on going instead. It worked. I omitted MIS abs though and gave the seated ab work from Absolute k/b a try. It was okay. Probably a lot more challenging after pre-exhausting your core with the standing core work she does before it.

Diana:: Wow, $240? Holy cow! No wonder you wanted to switch! Part of the reason our bill is as high as it is is because DH wants all the movie channels and they cost $. For as much as I watch tv I'd be happy with basic cable, one movie channel (if you can even have just ONE anymore!) and our netflixx membership. I hope Jerod gets on the baseball team! Fingers crossed!!!! Sorry football wasn't a better experience for him.

Jacque:: I believe the Lucky sale started y'day and ends tmrw but don't quote me on that. I was combing the racks looking for my size in every style they had practically! LOL I tried on 4 styles I think and decided to buy one pair in two different styles. I also tried on a couple T's but they didn't fit well. I have one T from there that is awesome but haven't been able to find one that fits me well since. I don't know what's up that that? I lurve me some retail therapy personally! That and a good work out (even though I have to fight to get started) really help when I am in a funk! Enjoy your hockey game!
