Good Morning!

Busy day yesterday...didnt get a chance to check in. I did 3 sessions, then my own workout which was a 20 mins run, then BM2 circuits and abs. The day before that I did Amy Bento's slo mo challenge and a walk/run with one of the girls I am training. I was sooo sore from Friday's workout! I don't feel to bad today.

Today I have most of my Christmas decorations lugged in the house. I figured it was just as well cause it was my weekend off. And I have 3 more training sessions.

Im gonna come back later and catch up on personals!

Today's work out is leaning towards a Turbo Jam. It will feed my kickboxing obsession but is something different that I haven't done in a while. Now I just have to pick one! :confused: LOL...

Oh no...I was (peanut)buttering my bagel thin that I am eating for breakfast when I realized that I had thought about doing Shaun's Pure Cardio today! Now I have a REAL decision to make! TJ and INSANITY are worlds apart! I guess I just to decide if I wanna go hard or take it easy today. Things that make ya go HMMM! ;)

Lori:: You totally inspired me! I think I will do Slo Mo on Tuesday now! I keep meaning to put it into my rotation but when the time comes I forget! :rolleyes: This time I WON'T forget! :p

Ok I'm back with a question...

So I did B&G on friday. I ended up with very little DOMS. I did a mish mosh y'day that focused on legs but most of it was via cardio blasts ala Cathe or leg conditioning drills with or without a 6# med ball. Today my legs are absolutely fine. So my question is...would it be okay to work them today in a Full Body work out? (Yes, Lori...Slo Mo! :p)

I ask b/c if I do Slo Mo on Tuesday (as previously mentioned) then I can't do High Reps on Wednesday (assuming I have the new vids) and Intensity on Turkey Day but if I do it TODAY then the rest of my plan can remain in tact!

What do you girls think? What would YOU do? :D
 
My work out is done and it's a good thing I didn't wait for you girls to answer my question before I did it too cause no one has been here! :p

I did Slo Mo Challenge Total Body Challenge #1 (46 mins-it's the shortest of 3. other 2 are 65 and 75 mins long IIRC) It was a good work out for total body in under and hour. Just realized though that I forgot to add on ab work! :eek: Oh well. Tough! I'm not doing it now-lunch has been served! :p So now that I got that out of my system that dvd will probably go back to it's dust collecting duties for another year...like so many others that I have! :rolleyes:

Hi ladies,

Today will be STS CST, and possibly a M1 Insanity w/o. STS takes a lot out of me, but I need to keep with as much cardio as possible for the next few weeks. I'm going to move on to the 3rd week of Meso 2 which means an increase in weight. It's really just the biceps I'm having trouble keeping up with so I'm moving on anyway.

Lori-you are a very busy girl. I'm kind of dreading bringing all my xmas stuff upstairs, but will get to it next weekend when I have more days off. Hope you can make time for your own w/o.

Wendy-sorry I didn't get here soon enough for yah. I would've said to go ahead and do legs today. Unless your really using super heavy weights, you could do legs everyday. I wouldn't count the cardio as leg day, even though they are extensively used in cardio. Nice job with Slo-Mo! I'm always sore after Amy's weight work, her exercises just have a bit of twist to them from what I'm used to.

Jacque-how are you? So the Avs beat the Stars last night in a shootout, it was awesome! Have you decided to give STS meso 2 a try? I'm enjoying the results so far, especially in the shoulders and back! My sleep issues are due to stress with a coworker who talks down to me all the time. She is a teammate, but treats me like I'm beneath her and I've had enough. This is the same gal I had trouble with before. I'm sending an email to my supervisor (it's her supervisor too) requesting I be reassigned to another team as I cannot work with someone who has a blatant agenda against me and talks down to me at every opportunity. She's nicey nice on the outside, backstabbing bitch on the inside.

Laura-sorry about the issues with DSIL. Hopefully things will blow over soon and get back to normal, especially for the Holidays. Hugs. Enjoy your time with DH this next week. Are you on vacation too?

Thanks for the advice on today's work out choice, Diana. As you can see, I took it! ;):D So STS and Shaun back to back you say??? That's extremely brave!!! I would never even consider it!!! :eek: I am hoping to have a bit of DOMS to relish in tmrw while I take my over due rest day! :eek:

Okay, well I am off...we are heading out somewhere though I don't think anyone really knows what the destination is at this point! Perhaps shopping, perhaps playing...who knows! I guess I'll find out soon enough! :p

Morning ladies !

Well it's kinda mid morning here - didn't sleep well knowing I have some tough crap going on at work and I am gonna be a basket case (stilll I guess I should say) for a while. Man oh man is my UB (between the shoulder blades - the stress area) sore sore sore . . . hope it doesn't cause a tight back like it did last year. The rest of me is just a little DOMy so it is perfect. Gonna put my w/o off until later so I can get some food in this house. Haven't been shopping for weeks . . . kinda hard to cook nothing, ya know? ;) I'm thinking of a CC or some other sort of run or cardio . . . feeling the "Wendy syndrome" right now. :p

Oh yea . . . talked to DS1 last night on the way home . . . sounds like he might just ask for a raise to make up for additional $ he needs to pay to move to another apt. His 2nd mgr in command told his district mgr to offer him more so I guess Wed. we'll see if she does. DS said he'll stay right where he is ! :D <--- That is me ! LOL !

Lori - good you got your workout in and did others too. This is going well for you - woo hoo ! As I lay awake this AM I was thinking I just might skip the Xmas decos this year. Hoping no one asks me to do Xmas at our house again this year - I'll be a disaster - so perhaps not even a tree. Very unlike me . . . but I can only do so much. Time will tell if the holiday season catches my emotional side next month.

Wendy - sorry but you were up and at it way too early for me. I really wasn't ignoring you, but would have said the same as Diana. Heck, I did Freestyle every day with 8 lb DB's. Since legs are the strongest the soreness there typically doesn't bother me. Besides, if you did B&G and didn't get DOMS you must be very well strengthened in the LB anyway. I get DOMS every time even when I am lifting heavy. Oh oh oh, thinking Plyo Legs for today - thanks for the idea !:eek: Hope your outing was a fun one !

Diana - Saw a couple times last night that the Avs were beating the Stars again ! Woo Hoo. We lost ugly (3-0) even though we had 35 shots and more than the Blue Jackets. Lots of uncalled penalties and they were bashing us loads. Not really sure what happened because they played hard a great deal of the game. Oh well. I do think I want to start STS Meso 2 but need to firm up a bit first and increase my stamina. If I can keep my w/o's consistent for a couple weeks I'll get started. Right now I'm thinking FB (maybe circuit style) 2 x per week, one extra LB and cardio in between. By then I'll be able to see how the new DVD's will fit in. Don't have loads of time to spend so will aim for about 45 - 60 min 5 or 6 times a week. Crossing my fingers I can make it happen without any hitches.

Off to shop for sustainance . . . should BBL to report something for a w/o.

Hi Ladies,

STS CST is done! Opted out of cardio 'cuz my tummy was growling and I didn't think I could make through an Insanity w/o being hungry. I'm drinking a protein shake right now.

I have some returns to take back to Kohl's so will be out running errands after my shower. The rest of the day will be taken up with laundry and household chores.

Wendy-enjoy you day! Hope it's fun whatever you do decide to do.

Jacque-Nice, DS will be getting a raise and not have to move away! I'm happy for you. Kinda sorry abour the Sharks loss;), but the good thing is that the hockey season is long and they have time to make up for it. I'm right there with you regarding the work stress. I've asked to be reassigned to another team. I'm basically being bullied by this backstabbing manipulative bitch.
