Good Morning!

I am up to get my workout in and Im not even sure what I am doing:eek: Maybe I should go out for a shorter run and then some weights....or vice versa...could do the weights first. That may give me more time to wake up!

I am happy with the amount of studying I did yesterday. If I can do the same amount today I will be finished both books and then the "real" studying will start for my next exam and then I can move on to nutrition basics! I"m looking forward to that b/c I know its something I will be interested in.

O.k...Im going to get my workout started! I will checkin when I get to work and catch up on personals. Yesterday on my way to work I picked up a coffee and a bagel and my coworker isn't the brightest....he said "how come you didn't get me a coffee" I told him it was b/c I didn't have enough money on me. He said " I would have paid you back you know" I said " doesn't matter if you would have paid me back or not, if I don't have enough money...I don't have enough money!" Then one of the girls I use to spend alot of time with came over for a visit and a chat and you think he would leave us alone? And I don't know how to be rude enough to tell him to fly a kite! Ugh!

Good Morning!

I slept until 7am this morning! Woot! :p

Had a lot of fun y'day with my BF and her new lurve. lol. We ordered in chinese food (I'll be regrettin' that decision for the next 3 days! LOL) and then took DS to the boardwalk for a while. After that we came back to the house and drank and bs'd all night. I drank quite a bit but no hang over this morning! Awesome! ;)

Today's work out will likely be some combo of cardio, legs and abs.

Today's to-do list includes Kohl's, the tattoo shop, and Chuck E. Cheese (did I just say that?!).

BBL!

Hi ladies,

The day just got away from me yesterday and I have no w/o to report. Didn't have much luck with cleats so will be heading out again today. I too have 30% coupon for Kohl's and will be buying a mattress pad and bedding with it...maybe some new towels too.

As far as working out goes, I'm just going to do MIS, an oldie but goodie full body workout and take it from there. Not sure if I will do cardio today or not.

I have another busy week ahead of me with lots of meetings. Hopefully soon I will get my bearings with my new responsibilities. I also have 2 dr. appts, one for mammogram and the other is a consultation visit with a cosmetic surgeon. I have this spot under my eye and have tried several things to get rid of it but nothing has worked. It's only been aesthetician's looking at it, I decided I wanted a Dr. to look at it and tell me what my options are.

Lori-since when is it your responsibilty to provide for your coworkers? He sounds kind of like a jerk. So was that coffee and bagel in your budget...hehe. Hope you get a nice w/o in..

Wendy-This has been a very busy weekend for you! Gotta take advantage of those 30% coupons as they do show up often enough. Chucky Cheese...you are one crazy mamma.

Jacque-You had a quite a productive day yest'dy.....what's on the agenda for today?

Hey Girlies!:)

My workout was 4DS shoul, bics and tris, then the dog and I went for a 9k run. I was going to do a cc workout on the TM but then I heard DH up so I figured I would run outside. I kept a good pace b/c I knew I wouldn't be out long.

Wendy** Sounds like you had a great evening. Chinesse food doesn't sit well with me (not to mention the water retention) but I do like it every once in a while. And no hangover??;) Datta girl!

Diana** Bed at 9:30 sounds awesome! I love sitting and talking to DH as well. We usually do that in the hot tub b/c we get in a couple times a week. I was thinking about getting in tonight with a few friends BUT my parents are coming to town and we keep drinking to a minimum when they are around.

Jacque** How was your day with the family? Seems like one workout was enough for you yesterday!:p

So I don't think I told you guys that my aunt as been sick. She is the only family member my dad as left, not counting us of course. His parents died when they were 48 and 62, and his brother died when he was 59. My aunt is 71 and my dad is 63. She went into the hospital for minor surgery but something wacky as gone wrong. She has been off and on life support for the past week or so. All of her family flew home b/c none of them live here anymore. My mom called earlier and said that she now as an infection in her surgery and she is bleeding somewhere. So my parents are coming back for the day. My dad will be devasted if anything happens to her.

On another note...I meant to tell you guys something that happened at work the other day. I will try to make it short. We had a flight coming (medical) and the patient on board could only eat pudding and apple sauce. I left a sticky note for my coworker to tell her where the food was, I also called her the day of and Im pretty sure I told her again. Anyway, she ended up giving the crew our managers lunch, which was in the fridge in a similar bag. It was all funny. I asked my manager about it when I came to work on Fri and he laughed but then proceeded to tell me that I didn't write it anywhere. I knew I did but wasn't about to argue with him. He asked if I wrote it in the file, and I told him I didn't, I wrote it on a sticky note and it was hanging on the desk. But he told me I didn't have "cupboard" wrote on the note. Soooo....I looked at the garbage and it was rather full and I thought to myself...the note still may be in there. Sure enough...there was the note and I showed it to him. Can you believe I was gonna get the blame for that? Communication is the problem? Not from me! Communication from my coworkers eyes, to her brain maybe...but nothing to do with ME! Ugh! Im glad I found the note though!:D

My work out is done!

KickMax: w/u all combos w/weighted gloves
KCM Body Training: Standing/Lower Body work out
75 lower ab reps
100 inner thigh reps per side

Lori:: Sorry about your aunt. Doesn't sound good but maybe she'll pull through! You never know. Your coffee story about your co-worker is pretty funny. You needed to tell him you would have had enough money to get him coffee is you HAD GOTTEN A RAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diana:: I don't mind being busy if it's stuff I decide to do and not stuff I HAVE to do. You know what I mean? For example, too many committments to parties, dinners, visits and the like in short time make me crazy but just doing a lot of stuff that I have total control over is fine b/c I can change things around if I need to so it's not so bad. I prefer to have things to do. Glad you also have a 30% coupon for Kohl's. Happy shopping! :D

Good morning ladies !

Y'day was interesting. DH had some kind of stomach issue so stayed home. I sat around with the kids and XDH & his wife and boy was that interesting. Very strange - he was such a nasty person and I deal with him being around but he wants to be best buddies now. DD asked why I don't invite her onto my FB account but I don't want that side of the family seeing all I do. Still not comfy letting my entire life be devulged to him as I'll never trust him again.

A tad bit sore from the Sculpt y'day so suppose I should do some cardio. Thinking High & Tight and perhaps an HiiT . . . not sure if I want to do it first thing or get out and get the weeding started before it gets too hot - mid 90's again today but I'll be in the sun.

Lori - good job on your studying - I have more Spanish on tap for today sometime. Need to "blow" though the first couple Lessons since I already know most of it and get to something that will increase my knowledge. Very similar to you ! ;) LOL how some people just don't have "cognitive thinking" (as my plant mgr keeps saying). I didn't have enough $ means I didn't have enough $ ! Best thoughts for you aunt . . . I have lots of friends whose parents slowly lose family and it gets tough after a while. Hope you get lots more done today.

Wendy - nice job on having a super duper time last night. You got me on the "luvre"? Not sure what that is - I'll google in a minute but if it is not a dictionary word you will have to verify it means something like SO ? Have fun getting the rest of your y'days plans done today.

Diana - Bummer about no cleats and having to go back out again. Sounds like the Kohl's trip will be a great motivator though ! I love getting new household items like towels that give you just a little bit of a change to come home to. I'm with you on the meetings thing - dang they take so much time and then you have to squeeze the rest of your work in there too. I have gone from nearly -0- to 3 or 4 couple hour meetings per week and then the follow up afterward and there goes a couple days minimum. Just gotta start passing stuff down the line like all the others do I guess . . . Have a great MIS workout ! I think I may put together a couple weeks of strength workouts, GS, S&H, Pyramids and then to endurance for a few. Thinking Pyramids this week cuz I haven't done that one for a long time. Liking the LB workout in Oxygen this week. Think I could modify with my weight bench. Have you seen it yet?

Time to fly and get started . . . BBL

I DID IT!

...I actually did a workout-- Kick Max.

I have eaten clean all weekend--- Yay me.

You all sound very happy and busy. Have a great week.

Me too...I finally got a work out in...Muscle Max! Don't think I mentioned I bought some bee pollen granules to add to my cereal, oatmeal etc...Tosca Reno recommends etc. OMG, it tastes terrible. I've been using it for about a week but haven't noticed any drastic changes. I will use up this bottle of it, but I'm not buying it again-yuck!

PunkyJen-Nice job on the w/o and clean eating!!! My eating during the week is always better than on the weekend. DH made chili dogs yesterday for dinner...although they tasted good, not clean..and not something I would ever make. Is the clean eating easier now that you are out for the summer? I can see how difficult it is to eat clean and frequently being a school teacher.

Jacque-I'm not sure I would want to be around an Ex, it must be quite uncomfortable at the very least. It is nice that you can make it work for the kid's b'days and holidays though. I am missing the GS series and may jump ship on what I'm doing and go to that...not commiting though. The rotation I'm following requires gym equipment and with my hectic work schedule I may miss more days than I like.

Lori-Sorry to hear about your Aunt. I hope she recovers.

Off to shower and shop!

Diana--yes it is so much easier in the summer. But I'm teaching summer school, and with the lightened load, I am carrying a cooler and a jug of water each day to school.

Hoping in fourteen working days I will form a new habit (isn't that how many times it takes to repeat an action before it becomes habit?):p

Speaking of Tosca Reno-- I do the bee pollen (royal jelly) in an organic honey-base. Its more expensive but tastes yummy with the flaxseed, wheat germ, and Cream of Wheat. You can also have a teaspoon/tbs as an in-between meals snack and it really fills you up :)

Thanks for writing back!

Jen-do you mind sharing the bee pollen brand you use. I have granules and they taste terrible. I will finish the bottle I have but would like something that tastes better the next go round. Good job using the cooler and jug of water each day. I pack a cooler everyday! I find it helps alot, especially in the afternoons when I tend to get hungriest. I prepare my food for the week on Sunday night. My refrigerator and countertop are usually full of my containers for the week.

I'm making dinner and it smells delicious. Baked chicken with Kicken' Chicken seasoning, sweet corn and baked potatoes. hhhmmm hhmmm good!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Bee Pollen

Hi Diana-- not at all-- it's made by Y.S. Organic Bee Farms and it's called Alive Bee Power Super Ultimate Strength, Royal Jelly Bee Pollen, Propolis. I get it at Whole Foods and it's like 13.99 for 11.5 oz. so it's expensive. It really does deliver kind of a long-lasting energy, so I use it to sweeten my hot cereal. It has a bright yellow label and says "Royal Jelly" in bright red.

Never tried the granules, though.

Good luck! BTW, I got the Flat Belly Diet book for that water recipe you recommended. It is good on a hot day!
:)
