Damage Control STS Style...Saturday!

Morning.

Here I am awake since 2:30am again. :rolleyes: Insomnia sucks but atleast it's the weekend. *sigh* Definitely checking out the sleep aid suggestions this weekend! :confused:

The weekend work out plans are Discs 5 and 6 on Saturday and Sunday plus 30 mins of cardio ala CTX on each day as well.

No real plans for anything else this weekend except a trip to buy some wine. I FINALLY purchased a wine rack so I must buy some wine to fill it up! It holds 12 bottles! I'm a happy girl! No more weekly trips to the store to re-stock! :D

Ok, that's all for now. Just wanted to get us started.

Good Morning!:D

It was a busy week for me. I am not sure how often I will get to check in most days. I need to make studying my number one priority. I was a little overwhelmed on Thursday b/c on Wed night I read one chapter of my book and realized that I had 23 more to go!:eek: So in order to be done my course by July, I will have to do 4 chapters a month! DH just thinks I am freaked out with the anatomy part of it but its a lot to remember and learn.

My workouts have been good. I got some good weight workouts in this week. I did LBB on Wed and 4DSUB on Thurs,plus cardio. My 8 a.m workout canceled this morning so now I have more time for me and then my work day will be filled with studying! I am suppose to go out tonight with a bunch of girls but I am thinking I won't bother...I have to many other things to do.

Oh...I am sitting in my bedroom with a computer for ME! DD's old computer (which is an awesome computer) needed to be cleaned up. DH took it and had all the viruses cleaned up on it, bought me a desk and now the computer is set up in our room for when I need to study!

We also decided to go away this spring for a week. We are gonna go to either Cuba or the Dominican with some friends and leave the kids home with the grandparents!:confused::(:D That's how I feel about that. I have never been away from DS before and a week seems like a awfully long time.

Wendy** I didn't sleep real well last night either. Some ice fell from the side of the house and woke us up and its pretty windy out as well. I usually sleep pretty good. I am thinking I got over 7 hr but it feels more like 4! Have fun buying wine today!!!

O.k....I MAY try to catch up on personals later....but I need to dig into this monster size book that is starring at me! My coffee cup is empty...I think I need another!

Well looky who decided to drop by after all this time! Miss Lori! Welcome back Lori. Glad you could fit us in to your busy schedule this morning! :D;):p

So 2.5 hours (from the time I went back to bed at about 4:30am), 3 or 4 pee breaks and about 15 minutes of actual real sleep later, I am back. :confused::rolleyes:

Lori:: We left DS with my MIL when he was about 10 months old for 8ish days when we went on a cruise with my SIL and her family. It was hard to do but once we got on the ship and started having fun, I got over it! ;) DS was fine too and always is up to this day when we leave him. I still feel badly when we leave him at my MIL's for more then just a couple of days b/c of his school vacation schedule but he calls us or we call him every day and everyone is happy. He has fun and mom and dad catch a break. I think it's healthy for everyone involved. :) Happy studying!
 
I just did Circuit Max. It was my first time. Wow, it is not an easy workout! :D I bought it awhile back when it was the 30% off special. I love those weekly discounts. I had Cardio Kicks on VHS (my very first Cathe workout!) and finally bought the DVD with both CK and CM on it when it went on sale. But it has sat on the shelf till I started this rotation. I like the workout. Won't be my favorite go-to, but it's a circuit that is very cardio-intense.

Lori--good luck on the studying. I find A&P to be fascinating, but I've never had to take a test on it. I love poring through A&P books, though!

Wendy--You've got some tough workouts planned for the weekend girl. Hope you get some sleep!

Diana--I really hope things improve in your work situation. Sorry for all the junk you're going through.

Poochy--Your evening at home sounds wonderful. Wish I could pop in! :)

Hi Ladies,

I'm right there with yah Wendy. I've been tossing and turning since about 2:30. I must've fallen back asleep around 4 or 5. Still feel a bit groggy this morning but am enjoying my coffee.:D

Today is legs. I'm actually looking forward to since my legs are firming up...finally. I've always enjoyed working legs.

Thursday night I went to my son's choir concert and last night went to my niece's basketball game. Goodness, the opponents did not have any height on their team, but they were super fast. They ran past our players like they were standing still. We did win, 64-61 and my niece had several buckets and 1 3p'ter!

The whole family is pitching in to get the house cleaned today...finally. I think DH will be wall mounting my w/o TV. This means my ds's and I will have to do some re-arranging in the basement. Not sure where all the stuff from the entertainment center will go. I do have shelving unit that we need to put together for all my w/o DVD's and the games. I guess I can try to sell the entertainment center on craig's list.

Lori-thanks for popping in! I'm sure finishing up your program by July does see overwhelming. Breaking it into manageable segments is a good way to go about it. You know you need to get through 4 chapters per month. Just keep in mind that some chapters may be longer or more difficult than others. You will do great! Is this 1 week vacation taking the place of your 2 week Florida trip? DS will be fine and you will too.:) ITA w/Wendy, it's healthy for everyone involved.

Wendy-good idea, doing a 30 min cardio with STS. I've been struggling to get cardio in on the weekends after sts...cuz I'm wiped out after my sts w/o. A 30 min cardio would be more doable than and hour.

LauraR-nice job on Circuit Max. I haven't done this w/o in a while, but do enjoy most of Cathe's circuits.

I've already showered and eaten something now it's.....

Hi Ladies,

I made it through Disc 12-legs, and 4DS kickbox. I was kinda doggin' it towards the end of Disc 12. The workout seemed to go on forever. I just finished my breakfast, 1 egg, 2 egg whites scrambled with 3/4 cup spinach and 1 toasted oroweat sandwich thin..yummy.

Hope everyone is out enjoying the day. Off to shower and get going on the rest of my day.
