Good Morning:)

Didn't get to check in yesterday...again:eek: I miss it when I don't have my relaxing time with my coffee!

My day started off with training yesterday, then my friend canceled for the 3rd time this week. I was soooo mad! She is one of those people that when something different is thrown into her week, she can't get sorted out. Mind you...over half of it is lies or exaggeration. She keeps talking about how sick her gma is and meanwhile I train her aunt as well and her aunt as never mentioned that her mother is knocking on deaths door...so that is exaggeration #1. Anyway....I just thought it was very rude and disrespectful of my time. She sent me a text and I didn't even reply...She probably got the hint from that. She is suppose to workout tomorrow and I am not contacting her. The rest of my day when filled up with training and working out myself. I never really got anything else done.

Today I have 3 training sessions this morning and then that's it for today. We are having DH gma's b-day gathering here tonight.

Yesterday's workout was 5 miles on the TM and MM. Im not sore yet...but it was a good workout. Today I will probably do another run and abs.

I downloaded all of the data from my garmin yesterday and since I bought the watch in Oct of 2009, I ran 2072 km (outside) and burned 125519 cals! LOL I wonder in that time span how much running I did inside?

I may bbl!

Lori:)

Hi ladies,

I woke up with a sinus headache an am all stuffed up again. I think there is a cold lingering in the background about ready to rear its ugly head.

I'm thinking about doing the Gauntlet this morning. I want to do a circuit and this one has Imax 2 in it. I'm going to drink my coffee and see if my head feels better. Even if it doesn't, I don't feel too sick to do a w/o.

I'm down about 5lbs total and tried on a pair of lucky jeans that were a tad too tight. They are fitting better, but still a bit tight in the thighs. I have one pair of Lucky's that fit great, the other pair has never fit right. I think when another 5lbs is gone they will fit perfect. I bought both pairs at the same time, but later realized one is midrise and the other is lowrise. The midrise fit perfect an hopefully soon so will the low rise.

I converted Lori's km to miles for us US folks....drum roll please.. 1,287.481 miles! Way to go Lori. I'm sure many of these miles were training runs for the 2 marathons you've done.

Wendy-Enjoy your long w/o this morning. Can't wait to hear what kind of mish mosh you put together.

Lori-you are a busy girl. Wow, the same girl cancelled 3 times this week. Sounds like you need to be paid up front for the number of sessions wanted, or have a cancellation fee. Some thing for you to consider once you are certified. FYI, the garmin has recording limit, not sure what it is, but it starts overwriting the oldest with the new. I usually download my data after each run. Does your garmin work inside????

LauraT-lowering my step to 6" made a huge difference. I was able to do the entire w/o and was still dripping buckets! I'm so used to using an 8" step that I tend to stumble more using 6".

Hi Jacque and LauraR.

I'm back from our short trip. Did not get to work out Thurs or Fri but I ran this morning. I'm proud of not sabotaging my eating while in the capital. I did get to enjoy some yummy treats but did not go overboard. We can't get ice cream in my town (at least not any worth eating), so I enjoyed a chocolate milkshake with a shot of espresso yesterday. Yum! :D

Trying to decide how to accomodate the missed workouts. Since I had two days off, I'm thinking I will do legs tomorrow, totally skip the circuit I missed, and start back on Monday with my normal schedule.

Trying to catch up, so I'll have to BBL (prob tomorrow) for personals.

I'm back and eating lunch (tuna sammy + salad) while I type this. My work out is done...

Disc 5
4DS LIS cardio (omitted blasts for time) and abs

It's about a 90 min work out but took me about 2 hours to do ofcourse w/all of the set up and break down involved. Felt good though. :D

Once I'm done eating (and posting) the fam is going to Costco. The boys will eat lunch there and then we'll shop. I also need to his the regular foodstore this weekend.

So we are barely 2 days out from the last snow storm and they are speaking of another possible one for mid week coming up!:confused: Enough already! Jeez!

Diana:: Sorry you are feeling icky but it's nice that it's not enough to keep you from a work out. Enjoy whatever you choose to do. Congrats on the weight loss! Love it when you can feel the loss in your jeans!

Laura:: I like icecream but don't eat it often. You may not be able to get it there but Ben and Jerry's puts out an awesome icecream called "Smores". OMG, it's to die for!:D Nice job controlling the food while you were away. We go away on casino weekends several times a year and eating is a big part of it. After many years I've finally figured out how to control my portions so that I can enjoy w/o completely over-doing it. It feels good when you can do that. :)

Lori:: I agree with Diana. Once you are certified you need to put a strict policy in place regarding cancellations. Whatever you are comfortable with that seems fair to your clients. Say for example, 24 hours notice required or you will be charged 50% of the hourly training rate that is to be collected at the next appointment and if you they don't pay then they can't come back...or something like that. You have to protect yourself!

Hey Ladies,

I just finished the Gauntlet and Core Max segment 3. I too am eating while I post.

It was a great w/o. I changed a few of the weight segments. I used a 50bb barbell for lunges/plie squats/rows & deadlifts. The rest of the time I used either 8's or 10's. Oh yeah, 30bb for barbell curls too.

I need to get a package off to Amanda of the items and clothing left behind. I already bought their Valentines gift so will put it in the box too.

Wendy-Nice w/o this morning. I just got my AMEX bill....not good. I went to Costco twice in the same billing period. I try not to do that cuz then I get hit with a big bill. Have fun shopping!

LauraR-glad you had fun while you were away...and were able to keep your eats in check. That seems to be my biggest struggle, but I'm getting better at it now. Your workout plan sounds fine. Sometimes you just have to miss a w/o and keep on going.

bbl

Diana:: We never got an AMEX card so we use our check card when we go to Costco. I actually prefer to go more often because it cuts down on what needs to be purchased at the foodstore, the more often we go, the less we buy so the bill isn't as big all at once and it's also easier to unload/put away. Good job on your work out! I used to have CM but sold it. The work outs were just too long for my taste. I know-JM's 6w6p are long but atleast there are intervals of cardio in there to break up the standard ab work AND, if you'll notice, I rarely do the work out as a whole. :p
