Good Morning!

I didn't get to catch up on personals yesterday. I forgot that I had a task to do:confused:. Its doing a spreadsheet for my managers other business and I use to do this when he was my boss but now I will do it and make extra money for it:D I figure that I can get it all done in the next two days so it will be a extra 20 hours pay or so. Already wondering what do with the extra money......LOL!

I am up early to workout then I have one training session before work and two after. I was contacted by someone else who wants to start....the word NO soon needs to be used. This lady wants to come with another lady so it makes no different to me.

I will bbl today!!

I did not get to check in yesterday because our internet was acting wacky! We say, "TIA!" (This is Africa!) I got cut off right in the middle of a skype call with a friend in the US. :mad:

Yesterday was a 3 1/2 mile run-walk (my usual MWF plan). It was the best run I've had so far. I was still happy for my rest breaks, but I wasn't counting down the seconds till I could walk. I actually found myself lost in thought at one point, which meant I wasn't totally consumed with putting one foot in front of another! Hurray! :D

Today was supposed to be a circuit workout, but my body is saying it needs rest. I'm beginning, or at least trying, to learn the difference between fatigue and DOMS that should be pushed through and the kind of fatigue that says, "Good job. You pushed your body to its total limit; now give it a break." So I think that today I will just do Ab Ripper and give the rest of me a break.

OK. I have to catch up on yesterday's thread. Hope to BBL for personals.

Hi Ladies,

Looks like Wendy didn't see the Sat Post!

We are having the girls' 3rd birthday party today. Their actual birthday is on the 14th, but they will be flying home that day. Probably in March I will talk to Amanda and see when we can have them for the summer. I'm going to try asking for 5 weeks this summer and see how it goes. We really only get to see them twice a year so I prefer to have them for as long as possible. Plus it gives her a break from the day to day and also from paying for daycare.

I wanted to do an STS and cardio w/o today but there won't be time. I'm sticking with cardio, will pick something when I get downstairs.

We are about to be blasted with an Arctic coldfront. The temp today should be be 40, but the next few days we will have overnight lows of -7 and -14 and daytime highs in the single digits.

Lori-Wow, an extra 20 hours pay for doing a spreadsheet. Can I help??:p
You need to build a website and createa PT scheduling calendar. Since you do shift work, how much in advance to you have your work schedule? You could show the times you have available for training and they could request sessions online.

LauraR-Thanks for the link. I had looked at a website but it didn't provide all the detail your's did. Nice job improving your running time. I started out running exaMy mind often wandered when I was running and made the time go so much faster. Do you use a treadmill, or are you running outside?

Wendy-How was your new kickboxing w/o? Who was the instructor?

Hey Ladies.

Late start for me today. I didn't get out of bed til 8am this morning! :eek:

I decided to do some kickboxing this morning to help work out some of the DOMS I have from Disc 3! I bought a 4 pack of kb workouts at Target the other night for $12.00 so I figured I would try one and WOW! I loved it!

The work out was "Strike Zone" by Janice Saffell. Excellent! It was 60 minutes and I finished up with a 3 minute prone plank hold that damn near killed me! :eek:

Diana:: I actually can work the multi disk dvd player but I can't figure out how to program it to automatically switch discs etc. For me, if I have to pick up the remote to make the discs switch, etc then I may as well just do it all myself. :rolleyes: Sure, I can take a pic of the new do. I'll get on that this weekend for ya! Have fun at the B'day party for the girls! What cardio did you decide to do?

Hi Ladies,

Intensity is Done! What an awesome workout. I used an 8" step and I was definitely huffing and puffing! I've only done this w/o 1 and half times.;) The choreography is classic Cathe and I picked it up pretty easily.

I need to get myself cleaned up and get the troops to help out with the house.

Wendy-I knew you would find us! I'm sure we were already on page 2 by the time you posted. I'll have to check at Target for those DVD's, kb'ing is much easier on my feet.

Hi Girls

I am taking a break from my spread sheet but this isn't really a break. Getting up and walking around would be a nice change. I have half of them done...just plugging away. I can't believe the time actually.

Today's workout was 3 miles on the TM, enough time on the bike to make it a 40 mins cardio workout, then I did MMA boxing UB moves only and then high reps shoulders, bics and tris. Then I left the house for a workout session where my client asked for a tough workout...can you say DUMMIE??? She couldn't breath, she couldn't talk...she couldn't do much of anything only do what I told her to! LOL She got her monies worth today. I was suppose to have two sessions tonight but one of the ladies still isn't feeling well so now I only have one...which is o.k with me.

Diana** That is an assume idea about the online calender! So many good ideas. Who knows what I will be at next year this time. Enjoy the girls party today! I am getting paid by the hour for this spread sheet. So far I have 8 hours punched. It will probably only be 12 hours of work. Oh well....

Wendy** Sleep in your eyes again? I think you choose not to see it...I think you are trying to ignore me! Well...Im not going to let that happen!:p:p:p I will not be ignored!!!! Enjoy your workout!!

Laura** Nice job with the run yesterday. I have cut back on my running quit a bit. I haven't done a real long run in a long time. I need the break.

STSTB done..fried my muscles especially my shoulders...then did part of jillian but body was too shaky to do it correctly..so I put back in sts tb and finished those abs...I will b sore tmrw for sure

Wendy..jillians workout was good...it may b doable for a morning workout for me..if I can drag my butt out of bed..lol

We r to get snow and sleet pellets starting tmrw afternoon..then it is to turn into an ice storm..expecting.. 1/4 to 1 inch of ice accumulation...expectinng large power outages...I may not be able to get to work Monday..but if our power goes out...I won't be able to see the National Championship game...WTH????????? NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOO THAT CAN NOT HAPPEN...told dh he bttr figure out how to hook tv n satalite up to generator...I can't miss my Tigers shot at a national championship.......

Ok gonna tryto stay positive....have a great day..got to do cleanmax on house now...
 
Diana:: Strike Zone doesn't have a lot of high impact moves in it so it's great if you want to keep things more grounded. It has some jacks and a couple other "jumpy" moves but not a lot and I'm sure they could be modified if need be. I love INTENSITY. Gotta do it next week! Glad you enjoyed it and that your foot withstood the impact of it!

Ack! Dinner's here! Chinese food! Not good for me but YUM! BBL to finish my post! :p

Okay, dinner is done so I'm back! Yummy! I had sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, broccoli in garlic sauce and some of an egg roll. We have many left overs so I might just have to *force* myself to eat a bit for lunch tmrw too!:p Ofcourse by then I could be regretting dinner so badly when my abs have disappeared from the bloat my dinner causes that I may just toss the leftovers! :rolleyes:

Lori:: So what's this 12 hour long spread sheet you are working on?? I must've missed it if you talked about it before...or forgot! :confused: Nice work out you did and what a mean trainer you are! Were you tryin' to kill that poor girl today? LOL

LauraT:: Glad you enjoyed whatever amount of 6w6p you could get through today. Funny that you said you couldn't get thru the whole work out cause you were fried. I wanted to do some of that too but I was so freakin' exhausted after STRIKE ZONE that I didn't even bother. I knew I would have to struggle to make it through 1/2 of the EASIER work out!
