Well I'll be a monkey's uncle! NO DOMS TODAY!!!!:eek: I am dumbfounded by that! Unbelievable! LOL

So I ended up getting ANOTHER new vid in the mail last night. The new k/b vid I ordered came in. It's called Rapid Fire Kick, Box and Core Burn. Can't wait to try it! Not sure if I'll stick with my KB BC plan today or try the new one instead! Time will tell! ;)

So DH is working today. I will likely bring DS to that jungle gym type place that DH and I took him to a few weeks ago since he loved it so much. Better there then chuck e cheese!:rolleyes: Aside from that I have housework/laundry to do and then later after DH gets home we are going to my mom's house for dinner. An uncle of mine is in town from FLA so we will all meet there for a visit. Should be fun. :)

I'm suddenly getting this very bizarre pain in my right knee and I didn't even do anything to it! GRRRRRR!:confused:
 
Hi Ladies,

I'm super stressed at work and am not sure what to do about it. One part of me wants to tell my boss, the other part just wants to let it go as I feel the boss will not do anything about it. This coworker really made me look bad in a meeting in front of the rest of our team. It's been almost 2 weeks and I'm still very upset about it. Jacque-what do you think?

Since yesterday was a rest day, if I do Lower Body Blast and KPC today I will be back on track. Tomorrow calls for running, but I could use my elliptical which hasn't been used in a while.

I do need to get some work done today, I may go into the office as there aren't any distractions there. Meeting with our European counterparts all day every day next week is sure to be trying. In my experience working with them, they want to be involved/included in what were doing, but don't want to do any of the work.

My housework and laundry have been sorely lacking the past few weeks so maybe tomorrow i can get the kids to help me and we can get it all taken care of.

Wendy-I would love to do another round of STS. There must've been something else going on when you tried it last time. Meso 1 is endurance, similar to ME IMO. It shouldn't have any negative ramifications. Only Meso 3 is truly heavy lifting so you could just skip that mesocycle if you wanted to. You will see huge strength in meso 2, its amazing.

What are all the other DC'rs up to today?

Diana:: I am not sure what happened the last time I did STS. I DO know that the 1RM's had me lifting ridiculously heavy for an endurance work out IMO so maybe that was part of the problem?? IDK. Anyway, I am lightening up this round for sure. With the addition of the extra cardio I think I will be fine. I mean 4 days of cardio is what I did for the last 6-7 weeks prior to beginning Cathe's rotation and that was the turn around point for me! That got me back to being in a "happy place" with my body so I have to think it'll work in conjunction with STS as well. I also considered doing only 1/2 of each weight work out on the 3 weight days/3 cardio days plans but IDK...I like the idea of getting all body parts worked in one week but not sure which would stand to yield better results for me. Things that make ya go HMMMM. :p Either way, the rotation will take longer then if it were done as produced. Sorry your job is such a point of stress for me right now. Jacque is a great person to use as a sounding board though! Hope the situation can get resolved soon! I hear you on the house. UGH. Cleaning/doing laundry is where I've been at all morning. FUN. NOT! LOL Have too much to do today and not enough time! :rolleyes:

Good morning ladies !

Well last night was Happy Hour at the closest authentic Mexican restaurant, a margarita and a beer and then the couch took me to a very rested sleep ! I'm ready for action this AM. Had TB out to do yesterday so might give that one a go round and go easy on the legs. Feeling like they have been overworked lately.

Got my new "Wendy enabled" Amazon special DVD's y'day: KCM NYC, Jillian 6wk 6pk and Jillian Shred-it with weights. Now I don't know what to do ? ? ? :p Sound familiar? ;)

Wendy - I did one STS body part per day and cardio most days at one point and it worked out well. I had enough time in the AM to get the wts done and not get real sweaty (can you say frizz head? :eek:) before work. Then I'd do cardio in the evenings - usually 4 - 5 per week. May try that again . . . or thought about just shortening the w/o's a little by an exercise per body part or so. That would help a little also. Especially Meso 1 which switched up exercises every time. Those were way too time consuming for someone behind in every way like I am now. Will think about the best way for a couple weeks I guess . . . My inner right knee has been paining me a bit just above the kneecap too? WTH ? ? ? I had to take it easy on the high step the other day. Sounds like a fun weekend for you. Enjoy !

Diana - oh darn these co-workers, huh? I'd be happy to chat with you a little to get more details and see what suggestions I might have. You can't go on like this - it needs to be addressed so you can get it off your chest. Expressing your frustration is all you can control and what you need to move forward. I suggest you do it before you take off on vaca. Do you still have my cell #? Might work better that way if you want to talk.

I vote for the boys to help you with your chores too - you can have them call me if you want some backup ! :p ;) Woo Hoo that makes 3 of us up for STS for the New Year? Hope you get lots done quickly today at work - I got my pile here too . . . misery loves company, right? ;) Brave girl to do LB & KPC on the same day. Looking to walk tomorrow? Actually the elliptical would be a great cardio after your planned workouts for today.

Well the day flew by. Not really sure where it went either. *scratches head* :confused: I feel like I didn't get enough done and I only have at best, 2 more hours home at this point. :rolleyes:

After some house cleaning, getting laundry going (which is a chore I am hating more and more each day for reasons I will explain when I have more time!), and having lunch, I took Joey to the tunnel n tubes play place we took him to a few weeks ago that he loved. After an hour there, by the time we got home, it was after 2:00. A quick bite to eat for both of us and a 15 minute cat nap for me and it's only minutes away from 3pm and...

I STILL HAVE TO WORK OUT!?!?! :eek::eek::eek:

My original plan is not going to happen. I just don't have enough time at this point. Jillian's ab routine is not my priority. It will have to wait until I have more time - tmrw perhaps, though I am not sure it's something I want to pair up with INSANITY! YIKES! lol Anyway, I'll be doing kickboxing of choice with a short ab routine if I have time and then I'll have to jump in the shower and get ready to head to mom's house.

Jacque:: Jen picked up shred it with weights and said she really liked it. She also did the first 6 week 6 pack routine and enjoyed that too...just so you know! :) You will have to fill me in on KCM's NYC workout when you do it since I do not own that one (yet!). Glad you were able to kick back with a couple CABS last night. I'll be having some tonight at mom's. She's picking up some Captain Morgan for me so I can have my cap n cokes. WOOT! I would usually just drink wine (always there b/c her BF is big wine guy) or beer which she usually has some of as well just incase. She's a Dewars girl herself. I won't touch that stuff! :eek: Not sure what I will do as far as STS goes but the more of you who want to jump on the band wagon with me (no matter how you choose to use it), the better! It will keep me motivated!!!! :D

Hi ladies,

Lower Body Blast is done!! I really liked the format of this w/o. Had I known how much cardio is involved I would've worn my HR monitor! Afterwards I did coremax 3. I'm skipping KPC today and will do that tomorrow. Monday will have to be a short w/o, probably HIIT.

I still need to get on cleanmax, laundrymax, and have some errands to run.

Wendy-you had a busy day planned. I'm sure Joey had a blast. Enjoy the rest of your day. Dinner at your Mom's should be fun. I'm looking forward to another round of STS. I just remember there are a ton of pushups in meso 1...beware.

Jacque-WooHoo...new workouts. I have to say I loved Intensity, High Reps and LBB...the jury is still out on STS FB. STS FB was really intense I thought. It moved pretty quickly and I started out using too heavy of weights. I need to do it a few more times and am sure I will love it just like the rest of STS or Cathe's other wt. w/o's. I may take you up on that phone, tomorrow though.

Laura-So what did you think of Intensity? It's fun workout for sure! Go Auburn!!!

Lori-What are you up to today?

Back to report STS TB done sans middle leg segment and end of the core - my lower back is acting up and I can only do about 5 mins before it is toooo tired to continue.

Great workout - man what a cardio factor too - paused a couple times in between. I still feel like I need to gain endurance and stamina. Am 'woot woot' that I've kept up my workouts pretty consistently though. << pats self on back >>. Trying to get back to a more normal routine.

Wendy - LOL - know what you mean about the day whizzing by . . . it's 2 PM here and I just finished my w/o. I did play a bit and signed up for the "Mature Driver" online course to save 5% on my auto insurance for 3 years. Need to get DH to do the same and we'll save $75 a year. Let's see . . . what DVD's can I buy with that ? ? ? :rolleyes: Good to hear Jen's comments on the new ones I got. Will let you know about NYC when I get there.

Diana - Another great review - think LB is the end of the first week. Since I did STS TB I think I'll just go ahead and start the rotation today. Tomorrow will be Intensity again. I'm here if you want to chat . . .

Off again to accomplish something besides 'puter stuff' :rolleyes:
