Hi Girls.

I'm starting the thread late today. Not sure how many posts it'll get but I'm here relaxing w/my "after a nap" java and figured I'd start one...

No work out yet today but I do plan on one. It's a choice between step and k/b and since the DOMS in L/B is hardly a fraction of what I was expecting I am leaning towards step though I haven't picked the exact routine yet.

I did a lot of de-cluttering today. I hit kitchen cabinets, my linen "shelf" (yes, most people have a linen CLOSET but my house is so small and devoid of storage space that all I have is a large SHELF :rolleyes: ) and the tv stand and our audio/video cabinet. I must have created a MINIMUM of a half dozen bags of garbage but seriously think it was more! :eek: Amazing what one collects over the years that ends up being totally useless but never gets thrown away. :confused:

Ok, that's all for now. I'll be back later to report my w/o and see if anyone stopped by now that the thread has been started!

Hi Ladies,

I had a terrible day at work, run in with the back stabbing bitch coworker. I came home and cried about to DH. This girl has been at the company for just over a year and is a total Bitch. The problem is she talks a good talk, but is not a good person. I'm more of a what you see is what you get type of person, she's nicey nice on the outside and back stabbing bitch on the inside. 'Nuff said.

I plan on doing cardio, actually giving a step workout a try. I will know in the warmup if I'll be able to do it or not. If my knee hurts, I'll switch to a non step w/o ala Insanity.

Wendy-nice job decluttering. I can't believe how much useless stuff we have in our house too. Enjoy your day!

Doggone I think I need a new year and quickly. Hoping it will bring some sanity to my life. Like Laura, I am just so done with so many things and burnt out to no end. More drama to happen at work soon and much of it is on my plate. Needs to happen but exhausting. BUT BUT BUT . . . I took off Mon & Tues anyway, need to work Wed and then another long weekend. Yea me ! ! ! :p I will pay for it, but the execs finally figured out I was about DONE so stepped up to help.

No workouts the rest of the past week . . . Thurs nite I ended up online checking out some work stuff and the evening was over quickly. This AM though I did almost all of The Viper . . . whew I am sooooo tired. I check my calendar and have done only 5 w/o's this month so far other than today, UGH. I barely have the energy - start dragging after about a half hour. Plan is to keep on truckin' now that I won't be working much for a while.

Question for you ladies: My poor little biceps (and I mean I looked at them this AM and they are LITTLE @ 11" :eek:) have shrunk, BF% is up even though I'm down 5 lbs (the stress, not eating much and no muscle). Want to do STS Meso 2 but think I should prep with endurance first. Don't want to do Meso 1 as stated but what do you all think about cutting a few exercises out so I can get it done in about 45 min rather than 60+? Still worth while? OR option 2 . . . ME, SS, PP combos for a few weeks? Suggestions welcome.;)

Wendy - LOL but I checked my CC the other night and realized I didn't receive a stmt and was a day late too ! UGH ! It's my credit union acct so I think I may see if I can switch the billing date. I only pay bills once a month and this one falls in between so it isn't closed out by the time I pay them. Sure hope I get my DVD's while I'm off before the end of the month . . . are there rotations out there yet? I'm guessing I'll be right there with you guys in the DOM area tomorrow (if it doesn't hit later cuz I'm so outta shape! :rolleyes:).

Diana - So DH's leg is doing better then? So sorry for the issues at work. We have a mgr that will be going into sales rather than managing. She is much like your co-worker. Her mgr believes everything she says and so many times she is so clueless it is sickening. She stirs the s#!^ constantly, pointing fingers and not resolving issues but stirring up more with incorrect information. I can't wait for them to switch her position. What is more maddening is that she is so highly paid and useless ! Gets under my skin and I sooo have to count to 20! with her many times. :confused: I feel for you for sure. So is the lack of sleep thing your hormonal changes? I surely know that one. I am looking forward to that all evening out one of these days. I'd love to w/o in the AM but am always so tired since my sleep patterns are so broken up. Rarely get 2 full nights of sleep per week. One day it will all come together, I believe it so it WILL happen, right? ;)

Lori - I'm not as busy as it seems, just beaten down and moody lately. I've been spending time reading fiction love stories in the hopes that I may some day see the light and feel good about life again. Slowly getting there . . . I need to work harder at ME just like you do. I remember my teens doing the same as your DD . . . as much as I disliked my "space" being invaded, I know in my heart it was good for them to be at my house cuz you see who they are with and what they are doing. Trust me, time will eventually allow you more ME time . . . sometimes more than you will want.:( I need to call my DS1 to see if/when/where they are moving and how far my GS's will be from me . . . Don't push it too fast. Your pics are adorable. What a beautiful family you have. I love the one with you all sitting down out in the middle of 'nature'.

Laura - <<<Hugs>>> to you all around. I know I shouldn't be feeling sorry for myself when I hear what you are going through for sure ! Sending SIL some <<<figure it out>>> vibes to try to help her deal with her situation. Have fun with DH this weekend - relax and enjoy before the holidays start hustling and bustling too much ! ;)

Done with my novel . . . got a Sharks game tonight - hoping my recent bad luck is left behind and the 'guys' get their tushies in gear for a win. BBL to see what the haps are.
 
Hi Ladies,

Back to report that Step Blast (no challenge) and SJP abs are done. I wore my knee brace and that was okay but the foot pain was another issue. I hung with it for as long as I could. Once I recover from this upcoming surgery, this shouldn't be an issue. I'm finally seeing some definition in my upper body and don't want to quit STS yet. I think I'll just add in cardio when I can and continue with STS for now.

DH ended up going to the Hospital yesterday and received some IV antibiotics. They think he may be having a reaction to his daily gout medication. I'm under the impression they are grasping at straws.

Jacque-You need to take care of yourself missy. I think you could start with meso 2, and simply do 2 sets instead of three and be just fine. Be warned though that you will probably not be able to go up in weight, or do the same weight you did in the previous round. I actually have an email prepared to send to my boss, basically detailing out how this coworker is treating me and asking to be reassigned to another group. It's obvious to me that my boss supports her and not me. Enjoy the Hockey game tonight! The avs beat the rangers last night 5-1!

Heading out soon but I wanted to come back and report my work out before I leave. I will BBL or in the AM to catch up on personals.

Um...I got a leetle carried away! My work out ended up being 95 minutes long. It was only supposed to be an hour! :eek:

I decided to do a cardio/leg mish mosh using Cathe and Kim Spreen and I guess I was having TOO much fun? LOL

Here's what I did....

Low Impact Step...W/U + step combo 1 + L/B blasts 2 & 3
Cardio Combat Surge...K/B segment 1 + med ball segment 2 (leg focused)
Low Impact Circuit...Step combo # 1 + Blast 1 + Leg/Cardio 1
Cardio Camp...K/B segment 1 + Leg Conditioning Drills
Low Impact Circuit...Abs + Stretch

WOW! Nothing was crazy impact or super intense but I used weighted gloves for k/b and med ball for the KS lower body work and worked up one heck of a sweat! My legs and core were on FIRE! AWESOME!!!!

Ok...gotta jet...BBL or tmrw!
