Good Morning Girls.

Up and atem on a Monday morning knowing I have a demon to face! Not a good way to start the week! :eek: You know what that demon is??? It's called INSANITY: PURE CARDIO! ;):p:D I am actually not dreading it like I thought I might. I find PC to be the least torturous of the M1 work outs so it's cool. Can't wait to get started! :cool:

So yeah, we went out for a couple drinks and to watch the game(s) y'day around 4pm. I managed to suck down 3 captn and diet cokes on a pretty much empty stomach. Yup-I was more then buzzed. We split a chicken sandwich and fries while we were out but it wasn't enough to sober me up. LOL We got home around 6:30 I guess. It was fun but I wasn't very productive after that. :p

Diana:: Glad you had a good saturday. When you miss your work out and can still say you had a good day, that's impressive! ;) LOL Sorry about the knee. You call the doctor yet?? Yup-MIS was a goodie! I chose slightly lighter weights then Cathe for most exercises and still took a beating! wow. I miss Tonique too and BBL. I just have so many work outs that I want to use so I gotta lay off even my faves in order to give others a chance. Had not been so lazy about it I could have used Tonqiue/BBL in place of MIS legs but I didn't feel like switchin' the dvds at that point. I just wanted to get done b/c it was late. I have 2-3 more weeks (minimum) of this rotation to do so I am sure I can sneak 'em in somewhere along the line.

Jacque:: I didn't sleep in Sunday morning either. The clock said 7:30 when I got up so I really got up at 6:30. Oh well. :rolleyes: So glad you GOT LUCKY this weekend too! What styles did you buy? I am on my second Lil' Maggie pair. I had to toss the first pair I got a couple years ago because I over dried them and they shrunk to the point where I just can't wear them anymore so I finally replaced them a few months ago. On saturday I bought a pair of Easy Riders and a pair of Lola's. I also tried on Sweet and Lows. I liked them but not quite as much as the other two. Now if they had a deal on THREE pairs you KNOW I would have bought them anyway right? ;)

Lori:: IKWYM about trying to watch a movie with a kid roaming around. DH and I try not to watch anything until Joey is in bed or when he's not around like this weekend. He's always interrupting plus if there are any scenes he shouldn't watch it can be a pain to make sure he doesn't see anything if he is up and about. I couldn't grasp LIS/HIS when the series first came out but at that time I had much harder time with choreo in general. I think it was just my being too impatient to take the time to learn it b/c now I am learning EVERYTHING! :D I have LIS down pretty well and it's fun. I hope HIS is just as fun b/c it's a much tougher routine to learn! It could take me a while to get combo 3. WOW. :eek:

Ok, I am done with my book now. Gotta finish my foffee and get movin'!

Hi ladies,

This morning will be HIIT DWP and Abs. I may try to hit cardio again at the rec ctr at lunch and have class tonight. I'm thinking I really need to up the cardio to get the pounds off. I plan on sticking with Meso 2 for weights though as I've had good results with STS in the past. My lower body definition is definitely lacking due to my not doing lower body weights. That should change fairly quickly now that I realize that weight training hurts my knee less than cardio does.

So far I'm doing okay with WW and staying within my points. But the weekly losses are negligible often less than 1#. It's been about 5 weeks and my total loss is 4#'s. It's quite discouraging at times, but it is helping me to get more veggies and eat better in general.

Wendy-Nice job with PC today!! Yeah, not that it is easy by any stretch, PC was the least intimidating w/o of M1. It kinda sucks that you don't get those water breaks though! You know, I also struggle with the learning phases of step, but once she puts it all together I can do it. Glad you are broadening your horizons and learning new things.

Lori-way to go on your run...good for you raising the most money! My belly still isn't quite right, after my overeating event on Friday. You had a very busy day yesterday. Hopefully today will be an uneventful day for you.

Good Morning!

I am at work now and my manager went out to get a hair cut! :D So I have a little bit of alone time....loves me some alone time!

I tried to get down a bowl of oatmeal earlier today but every spoonfull was making me urge!:( DH said "maybe your pregnant":eek: I don't think I am b/c since coming into work, I want to chew everyone up. TTOM must be just around the corner. I don't think my coworker cleans up half of the time. Everytime I come in after her the floors need to be mopped and the toilits are rotten:confused: and the rolls of paper are empty...drives me nuts. She is also making tons of stupid mistakes lately, I don't know where her head is at. In saying that, she may be going behind me half of the time and fixing my mistakes.I did up an invoice before I left work on Thurs night and its no where to be found, I have no clue what she did with it. Then I mop the floor and the door starts swinging so whats the point in cleaning up!:mad:

Ok...my rant is ova......

Two of my friends came over again today at 6:30 and when they left I got a quick workout in myself. I did 30 mins on the bike (something new) chest and shoulders.

Wendy** Sounds like you had a nice evening yesterday....if you can remember it:p I don't have the time right now to learn any new moves....someday...maybe. I think today was the first time in a long time where I didn't want to come to work. I usually don't care but today I just wanted to stay home.

Diana** Im sure upping the cardio will help get those pesky lbs off. I haven't been doing any sort of rotation lately. I need to figure out my plan as well as everyone elses!

I will probably bbl!

UGH don't wanna go to work. I've lost so much sleep over it since my salary review. Ah well, time to plan, make choices and take care of myself I guess. The hard part is that my job is taking care of/helping others. Delicate balance for sure. . .

My hips are killing me . . . don't want to go to work early so think I'll go hop on the TM and see if a little walking will loosen them up a bit. Perhaps I'll go take a naproxen first.

Lori - ITA woot woot on a great run y'day and especially on the funds raised ! I say take time to watch your movie tonight ! You are going to get yourself in a situation like me and won't be happy if you don't do something for YOU once in a while.

Wendy - nice job on PC - I'm a little askeered to break those out again. :eek: Maybe when I get to consistent workouts (hoping that happens soon !) I can't wear the "skinny" jeans as my thighs are 21"+ and I don't like it when they are tight on the legs. I got 2 pair of Easy Riders, one black pair I can wear to work and one dark jeans since I have 2 pairs I already like. Think they are Sweet 'n Low which fits me well also. I wanted to get a pair of the white ones but, alas, the sale was a 2 for ! Figured I'll get them in the spring instead. Are you getting their emails or something? How'd you find out about the sale?

Diana - you have great plans for a triple today. Hope it works for you. My plans of double cardio will be a little light but think I'd better get off here and hit the TM soon. Have a great class ! You seem to build muscle pretty quickly and are still pretty high on the wts for the legs. You'll be fine. Especially with your Meltdown class. Good that you are eating healthier . . . ITA about losing slowly - thinking I need to be a cardio queen to get the fluff off me also. Just need to set my mind to it.

MAN MONDAYS ...

Hey Ladies -

Had a good vacation and alone time w/hubby - we got out of town and it was wonderful ... no workouts to report (except the fun kind) ... but last night DH had some sort of heart problem .. his heart started beating all out of whack .. scared me to death .. he wouldnt let me take him to ER .. but I am going w/him to DR in a minute ... I am worried and tired!! Say a prayer he is gonna be ok!

have not had time for personals .. will BBL to read up on what I missed .. My team WON .. it was homecoming .. thought it would be easy victory and it was good .. 62 to 21 ... woot woot!! and that was w/our 2nd and 3rd string players playing since 2nd quarter .. WOOOHOOO!! and our RIVALS LOST .. double woot woot! :eek: :D

OK .. gotta jet .. will BBL .. have a good one!

Laura:: HUGS to you and PRAYERS for your DH. Probably a stress-induced problem that can be easily remedied! Fingers crossed! Keep us posted!

Jacque:: Yes, I am on Lucky's email list...Coach too! ;) I've always had "thick" legs thus my boot problem. My thighs have probably not been below 20" since I started measuring! If they were, it wasn't for very long. :mad: My calves have always floated around 15.5"-16" IIRC. They are big. BOOH. Genetics can really stink sometimes. :rolleyes:

Lori:: You can try to solve your time dilemma for your own work outs by working out with your clients. My SIL does that lots of times. Sorry about your unproductive co-worker. That stinks. :( But probably not as much as the rotten bathroom did! :D:p;) LOL

Diana:: Funny you should bring up the lack of water breaks in PC b/c as I was doing it this morning I kept thinking to myself...when is he gonna stop long enough for me to get just one sip! I am thirsty, Shaun!!!! LOL If you think it will help and your knee allows for it, bump up the cardio and see what happens. Might make the difference. If not, then try something else!:)

Just finished up the food/beverage shopping for our workshops for the next 2 days - just love being entertainment coordinator, LOL ! At least I get away from my desk for 2 days, excuse for not getting things accomplished . . . :rolleyes:

So I hopped on the TM for a half hour walk w/some inclines. LOL my little Aussie neighbor was barking at me and I tried to get him to walk with me but he jumped off when I started it. May try again later though his stamina doesn't last too long.

Lori - hope you aren't sick girlie ! I always wonder how others keep their houses when they take no time to clean up after themselves at work. Then again, maybe that is why they take advantage of those of us that will clean up after them? A luxury most of us don't have at home. . . Good job working out for yourself - ITA with Wendy's idea of working out simultaneously.

Laura - hope all is OK with DH. Fibrulations can be caused by loads of things . . . crossing fingers it is just a one-time thing or something easily dealt with. Good to hear your team won and you had a great time away from the house this past weekend ! Woo Hoo for you ! ! ! :D

Wendy - so how do you get your legs into the 'skinny jeans' then? Or do you not mind them hugging your thighs ? :p Drives me crazay when I get up and my pants are stuck to my thighs. LOL, your calves sound nice - mine are usually a twiggy 12 1/2" except when I get home from work sometimes when they have ballooned up to 13 1/2" or 14" from sitting and lack of circulation or "bloating". ;) Aha, that's how you got notice - Coach is outta my league for sure.

OK girls, off again to return later with a real workout !
 
Well .. DR hoping this is one time thing .. wasnt overly concerned .. but took some blood to rule out thyroid problem .. and run a blood panel and chk out his electrolytes .. all his #'s were back in line .. normal .. and EKG was normal .. we are to go straight to ER and call him if it happens again .. to get some documentation going on it .. but hopefully it is just caused from stress of all the long hours .. and hard long days ... I am not used to him being the patient and scaring the H### out of me ... :confused:

Wendy .. where are you measuring your thighs?? at the top or in middle around quads?? my upper/inner thigh measurment is usually around 20 .. my calves are usually around 13 or so .(u must have cheerleader calves and I think great calves are AWESOME) .. my hips usually around 35 .. chest is about 36.5 ... and waist is the worst around 28 :(

Lori .. OH my :eek: your coworker sounds like a nightmare!! geesh ..

Di .. well at least your numbers are not going UP ... hang in there ..

Jacque .. thanks for thought for DH .. think he has worked too long .. and yes woooohooo on my team .. soooo proud of them!

OK .. sooooooo I am dragging my butt to class and try to figure out something to do .. I am dog tired ... DH has scared the living H### outta me .. and I dont do well w/stress ... I wish I could go home and crash .. but I will manage something .. and BTW this time SUCKS .. I hate it being pitch black dark when I leave work .. and also .. we finally got our COLD temps .. it was 33 degrees when I left the house this morning .. we started a fire yesterday ... bbbbbrrrrrrr .. ok have a great one!:D
