Good Morning Ladies. :)

This morning I did 8 upper body 1rms plus 100 upper ab and 100 inner thigh reps. Barely even broke a sweat. What's up with that!? :p

I thought I was going to have to go to work in the wee hours of the morning but thankfully I didn't!:D I didn't get as much studying yesterday as I had hoped. I just wasn't in to it!:rolleyes: Ugh! I want to do my exam this week sometime, like Sat.

Today's workout is gonna be a run outside and probably some weight. I may do some LB and def some abs!

Wendy** I hate it when I feel like I didn't get a good workout. Almost as if it were a waste of my precious time!

I am going to see what I missed yesterday and then I will return! Its only 8 a.m and DS is already asking to go outside!

Diana** That's hilarious about the bee pollen! I use to try all kinds of stuff like that but I have given up. Its usually all nasty!! I remember when they were claiming green tea helped with weightloss and I hate tea....never mind green tea! Of course I bought some but never even drank a full mug full. I use to be sooo hard on myself before having DS. I am happy I am finally content and if I gain a couple of pounds I don't get stressed out anymore, I just eat good for a couple of days and then its gone. I guess its just part of getting older!:eek: Hope your week isn't to crazy!!

Jacque** I don't know if I could do what you did yesterday. A few mins with DD"s "father" is enough for me. For some reason I had a dream about him the other night and I told him what a terrible dad he was, he got mad and started taking all the things he had ever given DD. Not only that, he was only 4 feet tall! Bahaha!! It was freash in my mind when I woke up cause it was the last thing I had a dream about. I wouldn't invite them on my FB either!!!

Alright....I need to get some breakfast if I expect this body to push a stroller for an hour. BUT my running partner said she was going to push him the next time...with my luck she is working!

Hi Ladies,

Is it Monday already?? The weekends seem to fly by for some reason. I'm only working about 6hrs today as I have a mammogram this afternoon.

This morning will be either 4ds bootcamp, or one of the HIITs. I have bootcamp class tonight and never know what kind of torture she has planned.

Chalene's turbo fire is supposed to be available to order on June 18th. I really want to order it but will have to wait and see.

Wendy-sounds like you are making progress on the 1RM's. Once you start STS you will see how important they are. I received 2 emails from Bob Harper, but they were both empty. I haven't rec'd a shipping notice either. Did you mention it was pushed back to the 18th?

Lori-I've wasted many a $ on weight loss pills etc over the years. I mainly keep to vitamins and natural supplements now. The bee pollen granules I have are nasty. Enjoy your run today.

Jacque-what are you up to today. When is your company relocating? I'm so fortunate my job is only about 12 miles from the house. Now if I became a trainer and worked at the rec ctr, that's only about a mile away.:)

Laura-are you back from your fishing trip today? I can't remember how long you were going to be gone for.

Hi I am going to try to fit in 30 minutes this morning It is 6 :15 our time in California. Wish me luck!

It's a beautiful HOT :mad: sunny day out here-- it will probably hit 100* degrees.

I DID IT!!!!!

I did 35 minutes of High Intensity Step 4-Day Split-- then got a lovely cool shower-- all before 7am. Broke a serious sweat and my face is nice and red.

And the DH got the DD up for summer school-- I didn't have to do it.

My life is finally turning around.:D
 
Hiya Ladies !

Well no w/o to report y'day but got some weeding done and more "work" reading. I will share a portion of my book "Topgrading" by Brad Smart. It is basically about hiring "A" players in your company to have the best of the best. However, in the middle it helps you learn to become an "A" player and has many very valuable things that you can turn into your personal life also. I got engrossed in the section about how to balance your life. There is a checklist I will share with all of you when I have a chance. That is exactly what I'm having trouble with as I skip workouts to do additional work at home ! :rolleyes:

Today will be High & Tight and an HiiT when I get home - I will report back when I am finished (hope that doesn't keep me away for a few days !:eek:) LOL !

Wendy - ahem . . . weren't you laying down for most of your workout? He he he ! :p I didn't find the 1RM's to be terribly exhausting but then 8 should have done a little. Perhaps it is due to you using more of the smaller muscles - wait to see if you have DOM's tomorrow - that will be the true test. You can always run around the backyard later if you need a good sweat ! Just chase Joey - he will love it ! ;)

Lori - well you get to studying girl ! I did some of my Spanish and read my book now you need to catch up ! Heck, you deserved a break - especially when the rest of your life was a bit slow . . . take advantage when you can since you don't have a definite schedule for your tests.

Diana - oh boy that fun test you have this afternoon ! Hope it is over quickly and you can and then it will be on to Bootcamp for a bootie kickin'. I have heard good things about Royal Jelly also from a good friend of mine who said the same as Jen.

Jen-punky - well you have done very well lately - good to hear from you. GREAT JOB on your workout this AM and also ^5's that DH got the DD up and ready for you. One day at a time and hope it continues for you. Stay cool today - we are to only hit mid 80's so come on down if you need to cool off. I must say that we don't have A/C though! :D

Heya Laura - how'd the weekend go for you ? ? ?

Gotta skeedaddle - meetings meetings meetings and hoping to take the 1/2 day or at least 1/4 of it that I missed on Friday ! :mad:

Monday sure does come around often huh??? :mad: we had an EXCELLENT weekend .. OMG .. just a beautiful trip .. the seas were smooth as glass .. the fishing was AWESOME .. the water gorgeous ... I had trouble reeling in the fish b/c the the rib .. but I got help and managed to get some nice ones ... I am gonna try to get the pics downloaded this week .. and I will put them on my picture trail :D ;) I am exhausted today ... fishing and going and the heat and the CABS takes it outta ya :cool: but no worries it was all worth it :cool: :D

Wendy ... I am sure even though you didnt sweat you managed to deep muscle burns that is burning up some calories as we speak!

Lori .. LOL about the ex being 4 ft tall in your dream .. :eek: that is hillarious!!!!!

Di .. your bootcamp classes are pretty tuff .. I would opt for some easy stuff if you got bootcamp torture to tackle tonight .. LOL

Jacque .. good luck w/H&T AND HiiT .. yowza .. LOL makes me sore just thinking about it!! :p

hello Jen/punky!! it is to reach 100 here today we are under a heat advisory .. it is HUMID and MISERABLE .. no telling what our heat index is .. this is more like late July/AUG weather .. UGH

OK .. soooooo I am feeling much better .. thinking I am gonna up the intensity tonight in class .. AND add some heavy weight upper body .. thinking will do the plyo/hvy weight LB/no weight multi rep LB/hvy weight UB workout ... not up to abs yet b/c it still hurts to lay flat .. or get up from laying flat .. but thinking the arm has healed nicely .. and thinking the rib is BETTER:D I will take it easy and try to be smart about though ;) {quite shaking your heads .. I will .. TRY .. promise :p}

Diana:: How was the mammo? I haven't gotten one yet but I hear they are painful. :eek: I haven't gotten a shipping notice from Bob Harper yet but checked the site after I read your post this a.m. and it's now saying shipping was to start on the 11th so who knows! :confused:

Jen:: Hey great work out this morning! Love it when a woman puts her man to work like that! ;)

Jacque:: I definitely got a good work out this morning. Just wasn't the sweating kind. I already have DOMS in my back from it! :eek: That book you are reading for work sounds like a good one.

Laura:: Glad you had a fantastic weekend and that you are on the mend!!!! Yup, got a great work out despite the lack of sweat this morning!:p
 
Hi ladies,

Finishing up my work...from home. The mammo wasn't terrible, but they didn't have my records from my first one... ahem....10 years ago. Once they get that then they do a compare...and then I will get my results, probably 2 weeks. I don't anticipate anything, but considering 2 of my SIL's have been diagnosed with breast cancer I'm not taking any chances.

I think I'm supposed to run tomorrow morning and do weights at lunch. I'm going to have to check my calendar and the decide what I can get done tomorrow. If I do run in the morning, it will be an interval run. The same ole 5 miles is kinda boring. I was just doing it to build up some endurance.

Jacque-I'll have to look into that book, sounds like a good one. I did HIIT 40/20 this morning...definitely need to take a towel downstairs for these. The sweat factor is quite high. Yep, you need to make time for your w/o's...they are an important factor in your well being!

Jen-good job on the w/o. I've been getting plenty of motivation from Wendy-she manages cardio no matter what her time limitation.

Wendy-No shipping notice yet, who knows, maybe they will just appear towards the end of the week! They recommend a baseline mammo at age 35, not sure if you're there yet.

Laura-so glad you are feeling better...and ready to kick it into high gear for your class! do you clean and freeze the fish that you catch? Do you have big fish bbq's at your place in the summer? I managed 40/20 this morning, it just never gets any easier!

Diana:: I had always heard baseline at 40 but then again things may have changed since the last time I was at the gyno....6 weeks after DS was born! :eek::eek::eek:
 
Wendy-you are way behind on your yearly exam missy! I just did a quick search....and the 3 sites I looked at all said baseline at 40 is the recommendation. You are right.
