Good Morning, girls! Just gettin' us started. Will bbs for personals! Just have to get a few things done ~

Yep agreed on the UGH it's Monday already. That weekend sure went fast !

Didn't do anything yesterday but hang out and do my workout. Lunges and an interval run for 3 miles. Getting a bit warm here - was a sweatfest for sure. :D

Hope everyone had a great weekend. BBL to find out . . .;)

Hello Ladies ...

I had a WONDERFUL long weekend - mini-vacation!!! :D :cool: the weather was awsome .. and the fishing was THE BEST .. Yes I caught the biggest snapper .. and LOST the biggest grouper .. but we got a LOT of fish .. and had a FUN crowd (I laughed so hard my cheeks were sore) !!! DB didnt get to come had a meeting called w/the Feds .. :( .. but we had a fill in so we had plenty .. and I hate he missed it b/c it was one of our BEST trips yet!!! Poor thing!! WED night went to the casino and gambled some .. I thought I was gonna end up leaving a LOOSER .. but then I played one last machine and hit 3 bonuses and made all of my money back PLUS $30 :D .. I wont even tell you how much I ate at the buffet though :eek: crab legs .. MY WEAKNESS!!!

there is no exercise to report other than fishing .. my abs and shoudlers are sore from fishing and the waves ... the food .. OY .. :eek: .. I have been a bad wittle girl! :eek: GOTTA get on the DAMAGE CONTROL bandwagon now .. b/c my Keys trip is less than a month away :eek: and SIL is small and FIT .. and the other girl going w/us is TINY .. :eek: .. I will be the one called HUNGA BUNGA woman next to those two .. so today starts EXTRA cardio and watching the food and CABS consumption!!! :confused: but I am already dreading it b/c I also have PMS MONSTER upon me:mad: NOT a good time to cut down food and cut OUT sweets and CABS :confused:

Jen .. I have my pedi back on .. and I am gonna try to get those EXTRA EXTRA steps in ... although I am sure I wont even come close to your totals ..

Jacque .. temps here are dreadfull .. humidity is so high .. it is doing a freaking number on my hair .. YUCK ..

Lori .. LOL about laying down and not going back to party .. cant say I blame you .. if I ever get still and sleepy .. forget it ..

Wendy .. OMG think I got a kidney stone just hearing about your homemade chocolate martini .. LOL!!! but if you like chocolate it has to be fine!! My VBF would OD on those drinks .. she is a chocoholic!!!!

Di .. hope your trip was a safe one and I know you enjoyed the little ones!!!

OK .. about to go on break .. yes walking the stairs for my 10 minute break .. as hot as the freaking gym was last week .. might stay here and just trek it up and down the steps for my lunch workout .. LOL!!! Have not heard from SIL .. but think we are to meet at lunch ?? .. tonight is either super cardio .. or circuit w/focus on carido .. :) .. have a great one and I will BBL to check in on ya'll!!! :D
 
Home after work and poppin' in to report I'll be doing a FB workout and possibly some cardio (at least a walk as I'm not even to 3K steps yet) :( It made it to 100' today so is pretty yucky. Thinking my exercise room may not be too cool - it gets the afternoon sun. Better hurry before it warms up any more.

Laura - good to hear you caught lots of fish. Sorry DB didn't make it. What is wrong with the Feds? Didn't they know he had a trip with DSis planned? :p Good to hear you left gambling up a bit - I can think of worse things to eat than crab legs ! Maybe high in cholesterol but it is seafood so should be pretty high up there on the "good food" list. You made me a tad bit jealous as crab never came down much in price this year. We've only had it a few times.

Sounds like you have lots of motivation to begin the "Damage Control" between not doing much on the trip to "hanging" out with some skinny minnies ! :eek: You can do it - you work out lots, just try to fill up on fruits and veggies, more on veggie though since they are not as high in cals. If it is that time then maybe just use the sweets & CABs as "treats/cheats" - only cut back but don't cut out. See how it goes for a week and then go crazy wild if need be the last two weeks. I'm not complaining about the heat - you have it worse than I do - hope the humidity goes down a bit for you. I hate "witchy hair".:eek:

Jen - did ya get real busy at work or just busy workin' out? How'd the weekend go?

BBL to report how many lbs of sweat I had to drip to get through my workout - will report steps too - Com'on Laura, your challenge is on girl ! ;) :p
 
Hi Girls!

I can't beleive its bed time and I am just getting to check in:confused: I worked last night so I didn't get up until 9'ish. We had a play date in the a.m and just hung out in the backyard all afternoon.

I went for a run tonight after DS went to bed. I did about 14 k , i guess. If it wasn't for my stupid supper not being digested the run would have been great. In the beginning I felt a little stomach sick, then I needed a tolit for #2 ASAP....but in the end I ended up enjoying the music and sprinting the last few mins home. Im not sure what and when tomorrows workout will be. I love evening runs if it wasn't for the bathroom break:eek:

Jen** I hate Mons if I have to work them...today I didn't so I love Mondays:p

Laura** You are to funny! Your post are always a riot! I need to be a good girl as well. Summer time is a hard time to behave though. I said this weekend i wasn't doing anything...as Im leaving the house for my run, a friend stops by with a invite for a b-day party on fri night...there is just no way out of it!

Jacque** Did you get your workout done? I don't know how you guys can workout in that heat!!!!:confused:

I forgot to tell you guys that i wore a pedometer the other day, I did my 10 k run and by 2 in the afternoon I had already made 8800 steps. Then DS came along and pressed the reset button...so I took it off!

Back to report I'm done with my workout. Didn't feel like doing weights and then cardio so I did The Viper which is a circuit-like workout on The Terminator DVD. (I see that it is the "deal" of the week). Talk about a sweaty drippy mess! The only part of my tank top that is not sopping wet is the bottom where it hangs over my shorts so it isn't touching my skin. Even soaked right through the bra ! :eek: Well guess I cleaned out my pores something fierce. By the time I was done with the workout I still needed 2,500 steps so hopped on the TM for 20 min until I hit 10K. Wore my HRM: 1 hr 45 min, 790 cals, but showed I hit a max 205 HR? Must have burped for a min or two. I seemed to be pretty steady between 110 and 130-145 on the Imaxes. I'm ready for a shower.

Lori - glad you made it here tonight. Nice run - good job on the steps - but LOL about DS hitting reset. I've done that by mistake with my HRM and get awfully mad at myself. :p

As far as being good - my IL's are having their 50th on Sun at their "supposed fav restaurant" but it is not very good and they cook with lots of grease and oil. I dislike the food there - hope I can get a nice salad. It is like home style cooking with an upscale price tag - YUCK ! Oh well, I'll eat something healthy before we go. And to boot, we aren't even getting there until 7PM so you can imagine what time we'll be eating. It's one of the most crowded restaurants in San Jose and we'll have a party of 25 with lots of kids. Hmmmm . . . I'm so glad I love my IL's or I'd be bummed. But DH's family is a good time at least ! :p

OK - time to scoot and finish out the evening. See y'all in the AM !
