Damage Control May!!

Hi Ladies,

I'm still not back to 100%. I still have this dull headache on the left side with weakness on the left side too. The weakness on the left side of my body is kind of scaring me. I did feel good enough to give GS C&T a go this morning. I usually do the chest presses/flyes with 30'S, but had to drop to 25's for the last 2 sets of flyes.

We have SUN!!!!!! It may rain this afternoon, but the sun is wonderful! Hopefully it won't rain and the grass will dry out enough I can mow tonight.

We are trying to schedule a meeting with a real estate agent for this week or next to determine what we need to do to our house before we can sell it. I doubt we will be building the house I want. Perhaps in the spring next year they will have some already built for us to buy. I'm not willing to risk the 20K earnest money and we are still dealing with DH's stolen identity. This gives us time to work on our house. It's all good IMO.

LL-nice job with PLB! I love that w/o. You should definitely have the large ball and make sure it's fully inflated. I have a large and a small ball and almost never use the small one...I'm 5'5". My 300# son sits on my ball...gggggrrrr....and then I have to have DH blow it up with the compressor.

Tina-glad you were able to get in some decent miles. Will you be teaching preschool? When I retire...or if I win the lottery, I would love to volunteer at the elementary school, K-2nd grade. I'm so not prepared for my upcoming tri. I've still only been on my bike once. I'm going to try to start riding the bike route at least 2 times/wk until the tri on the 14th. Happy Bday to your son and sister! I have STS on the brain too. I know I could do meso 1 for sure and maybe meso 2. I wouldn't want to do meso 3 until after my aug tri.

Beth-woo hoo for PUB! I usually do the warmup, then the abs, then the weights. My arms were always trembling during the ab work so I started doing it first. I need to spring clean too. My house is filthy. First, I have to clean out the girls room before they get here. It gets used for storage when they are gone. My gym bag and swil bag are in there now along with some filing and stuff to give away. I hope to take care of that this weekend. Speaking of pictures, I should probably change mine as it is very old. I no longer have bangs, but still have the dreaded curly hair. Sometimes I straighten it but mostly I leave it curly. It just takes way too long to straighten.

Hi Ladies,

No workout to report for yesterday. This morning was BR Day 10, a quick 30 min calorie burner! I may be able to ride my bike this weekend!!!! It is supposed to rain today, but tomorrow morning should be good riding weather. I uploaded a newer picture.

Yesterday I mowed the lawn at lunch time. Flipping snake in the front yard and I actually stepped on one in the backyard....scared me pretty bad. I hate snakes. I live in surburbia, not in an open field. I hope they go away soon.

Quick update while at a stoplight! HiiT 40/20 yesterday and GS Legs just the warm up, floor work and stretch.

Graduation to attend tonight and baseball playoffs start tomorrow! Portfolios red to be complete in a week!

Wednesday was AB and TS lower body. Yesterday was GS BSB and abs. Today was a solo bike ride and STS pilate abs and the STS stretch. Tomorrow DH and I are both working until dinner time, so we plan on doing MM together. Rain for Sunday, so we might not be biking this weekend.

Diana, love the new photo!! You look so young, would never guess you're a grandmother! My DH hates snakes too. Our whole family was swimming in a lake (this was when our kids were very young) and a water snake came straight for us. I swear DH ran on top of the water, left me trying to get two panicked kids out of the water by myself. I still razz him about it.

LL, good luck getting those portfolios together. I can't imagine where you store all of the prior years. I have two huge plastic bins full to the brim with just one child.

Beth, will you be biking this weekend? That's quite the height difference between you and your hubby. You make a great looking couple. :)

Hi all!

Quick update-ended up taking Thursday off...we met with a realtor and got our lot listed. Friday it was back to work and a bike ride.

Diana, you look so different without the bangs! I can't believe you're a grandma either. The girls are going to have to keep up with you!

LL, you'll get it all done!

Tina, I may just do MM after work today, too.

Hi Ladies,

Our tri training class was a tough brick w/o. Bricks are 2 disciplines back to back. We rode a half mile or so loop, racked our bikes and ran around the rec center and up a hill...repeat as many times as possible for 55 mins. Then off to swim for 30 minutes of 100's repeats. After eating breakfast I did GS BSB and coremax 3. I was considering doing a cardio w/o or riding my bike, but I am beat. My quads were killing me on the bike this morning....my lack of riding is showing.

LL-I'm sure you will get it done, you have lots of experience with this! Wow HIIT 40/20 is a toughie! Nice job!

Tina-AB...nice, I haven't done that one is quite a while now. Too many w/o's to choose from I guess. There was a huge snake on our bike route today. I don't think it was alive as it never moved the whole time. Thanks, that is one of my favorite pictures.

Beth-We are finally supposed to have decent weather so I should be able to ride this week. My hair is straightened in this picture, I have curly hair like you. Most the time I leave it curly and pull it up in a clip.

I'm off to clean my girls room, take care of the filing, etc.

No workouts this weekend. But I did a lot of walking both days for sports and stuff.

I think I'm going to do the June rotation! Is anyone with me?? Unfortunately, I don't have any of the workouts for this week except for hard strikes. Here's what I'm thinking for this week:

M- LIS Trisets upper body premix 30 min chest shoulders triceps (Done!)
T- I will choose tomorrow: HS, timesaver with KPC in it or Hardcore extreme with KPC in it.
W- PLB or LIS Trisets lower body or another lower body wo, maybe wts from CLB or times saver legs and glutes or B&G. I have a bunch of leg wo to choose from and add in core
TH- HS
F- LIS Trisets biceps back core
S- PRS or some other fun cardio

Diana-how do you like that GS upper body ones? I kinda wish I had those sometimes ... But I have plenty of DVDs! But sometimes ... You know how it goes!

Beth and Diana-I hope so I feel like I'm under the gun. Last night I was up to midnight doing the busy work of the portfolio adding dividers and stuff. And I did some filling of work samples. Tonight I plan to finish filling in work samples, this takes a while. Choosing art work to submit!

Tomorrow night I hope to write all the summaries that need to be written. Not a ton. And Thursday print pictures fun part but sorting through takes forever! Mother son retreat Friday overnight and Saturday I'll be too tired. And Sunday I turn it in.
