sorry been MIA ..have literally been in meetings all week .. and today playing catch up and filling in on front counter .. UGH!! no workouts to report :eek: :mad::mad::mad: have had migraine all week too .. ugh .. killing me!!! CAN WE JUST SAY ...... STRESS ..... I need an FFFN BREAK is what I need!!!

Wendy - GREAT workouts .. and congrats on the new addition to the family!!! Yes he looks like JR!!! :D:D:D

DI - guess your week has been busy one too .. geesh .. and we have had torrential storms every day .. mother nature is still pissed at us!!!

Lori - I got into my CABS last night :confused::confused::confused:.. just STRESSED to the max .. and DH PISSED me off .. big time!! ggrrrr men!!!

Tommorrow is my 27th wedding anniversary .. and he is on MIDNIGHTS .. gggrrr .. YUP .. will not be an exciting one .. just hoping for one that is not a fight .. LOLOLOL .. that is terrible isnt it??? DARE I SAY .. the sun is supposed to shine SAT .. so I am hoping to get out and lay by my poor neglected pool .. that would be an awesome anniversary present!!!:cool: you know this year i have not even SWAM in my pool ... and have only got to lay out a couple of times .. b/c of our horrible weather!!! .. ugh ... ok .. gotta jet ,,,have a great one!
 
Hey Girls,

Today's workout was abs, 10 km and BS B&B. Hopefully tomorrow I will do Tri and legs. DH goes back to work tomorrow night so I also have the evening to do things although these kids have been going to bed later and later but that's summer for ya!

Wendy** Ugh....rough start to your day! Holy!! Thank goodness you and Joey are ok! Cars are only material things..they can be replaced!:) So tomorrow will be a better day! Yeah, I'm guessing running with rocks sticking in you isn't very comfortable.

Laura** Sorry to hear everything has been so crazy! Men are A-Holes...we all know that;). Even they know that! Hopefully you will have a nice relaxing weekend around the pool and have a few cold ones.:) Congrats on 27 yrs:)! Hopefully you will have made up by then!

Good Morning:)

I am up before everyone else. We sleep with the window open and those birds wake me every morning!:mad: So you would think I'd close the window, right? I enjoy this bit of alone time though. I don't get that much anymore.Although I hear the baby tossing around now....

DH starts back at nights tonight. So we won't be going anywhere today. We go for lunch every Friday at work and the girls text me yesterday to see if I wanted to go anywhere. Boy, that company has been in transition ever since I started. I don't know how many people they have had leave and new hires. And its not because its a bad place to work. Two of them were ready for a change and one of my coworkers is going back to school:(, I'm really going to miss her...another one just decided its not for her, she wants a job where she deals with the public more.....and I am pretty sure my boss (her husband trained DH) were just informed that they have their next posting. I guess this is the life I now live. Before my life was pretty stagnant and the same ppl were in it, but now there will be ppl in and out of of our lives all the time because of DH's job. I get to meet lots of ppl but I also have to say good bye to lots as well. Oh well...so ANYWAYS....I am going for lunch today with the girls and then DH will have a nap when I get home. I may just relax in the backyard while hes taking a nap because the baby will be napping as well.

Today's workout will be bit of a longer run, then BS tris. Tonight when DS goes to bed I am going to do legs as well!

Good Afternoon Ladies and TGIF!!!!!:D

My DH, DS, FIL and a few others are all at Great Adventure today and I am at work. Booh. I could have gone but I only have a couple of v days left and I'd like to try to save them for use around the holidays. :rolleyes:

I am taking a rest day today. I am quite sore from last night's work out and tmrw's planned work out in the park after work is going to be killer so I'd prefer not to layer on even MORE doms for it! :eek:

Last night I worked out at home. I took the 2 studio group session work outs being done this month and combined them. Every group work out has 10 exercises in it broken up into 2 timed circuits and each circuit is done usually 3 or 4x, then you get a short break and then you do the second circuit the same way. So what I did was take all of the exercises from both group work outs (so that's 20 total) and did them all, took a break and then did them a second time. The timing breakdown was the same as the normal work out at 20@20/35 but instead of doing 10 different exercises 4x each, I did 20 exercises 2x each. Does that make sense? :confused: Anyway, it was killer and then I followed it up with the normal conditioning of 2 rounds of 8@10/20 with the following groups of exercises: 1) jump lunges, burpees, jump squats and bear crawls 2) skaters and hands on/off the box. Fantastic work out for sure!:D (Sorry for being so long-winded!)

Laura:: OMG 27 years!!!! How wonderful! Congrats! :D

Lori:: Nice workouts! See what happens when you move out of an isolated one horse town? :p Yeah, the rocks during the army crawls sucked but over-all I loved the race! Can't wait for the one in September now! :D

I thought I posted from work earlier today, but I guess not.:confused: It's been a very stressful week and I'm glad it's over. Although I will have to do some work this weekend, I should be able to do it from home.

The place I reserved my wetsuit from didn't have it in time for me to pick up for the Stroke & Stride. They were very apologetic and called today and offered me free wetsuit rentals for the rest of the year, and a discount -can't remember if it was $25 or 25%, I'll take either one. I know my limits and did not swim last night. My training partner who has a hip injury, well she did the swim and I did the run...relay style. We came in second in the relay division!

Lori-sounds like you are keeping busy with DH and still keeping up with your workouts and kids! Wine, wine...you probably needed it! I'm drinking coconut rum and diet pepsi lime, yummy. I don't know how you find the time for double workouts...or maybe it's the energy.

Wendy-Glad to hear that you and Joey are OK. How scary that must've been. I love that you do the workouts yourself before using them "live" in training. I wish our trainer would do that. You are lucky, at 8 yrs old...Jerod's football practice was 2 and half hours....so happy that my DH went to his practices. That reminds me, I need to get Jerod new cleats too.

Laura-Happy Anniversary!! To be honest, I think my DH and I seem to have some kind of disagreement around our anniversary. DH isn't happy with me right now. He thought I got home too late from the stroke and stride, even though I talked to him from the event...before it started. Hope the weather clears so you can enjoy your pool.

Well my kitchen table is covered with mail, bills, coupons....everything. Time for me to sort through it, pay the bills.....and file...I hate filing. bbitam.
 
Good Morning,

I should have went to bed earlier then I did last night cause the kids woke a few times. Then I was up by 6:43.....:mad: DS was up as well, I had a chat with DH b/c he just got off of work and then I made my way back to bed. I got another hour or so, thank God.....I feel alot better then I did earlier!

I'm not sure what I will do with these boys today. It's suppose to be a rainy weekend and DH will be sleeping. It's bad when they can't get outside.

Yesterday I just abs from ME and PUB, then a 6.5 mile run. One of the girls text me while I was out and they wanted to eat at 11:30 so I came home from my run earlier then I wanted to. And then they ended up being late for lunch anyway~:mad: It was nice to see them! I really like the girls I work with.

I don't know what workout I will do today. I still need to do tris and legs. A run won't be happening today unless it dries up. I am kind of in the mood to do some spinning. Maybe I will take the boys to the basement and do some weights and save the cardio for later.

Wendy** Signing up for races is always fun. Esp when its not marathon long ones:p. I don't think I will be doing that again...

Diana** Oh I ended up having a couple glasses of wine last night. Rylan thought it was a good idea to stick the thermometer in Stephen's ear. I was so mad! Then it started to bleed so I had to take him to the hospital before DH started his shift. He just fell down and now his head is bleeding! He is so clumsy! Thankfully it wasn't his ear drum! Needless to say both boys were sorted out early and I sat down and watched my recorded shows. That kind of sucks about your suit but its pretty sweet that you can get a discount! Your partner seems to be pretty fast despite her obstacles!

I will bbl to report my workout!!

Y'day was a rest day.

Today after work was the following at the park with my running buddy::

10 swings, single hill repeat x 6
10 swings, single hill repeat w/5 decline push ups at top x 6
10 swings, single hill repeat w/10 burpees at top x 4

BBL for personals...almost time for dinner..burgers, dogs, baked beans, potato salad and french fries! YUM! :D

Thank God the sun is shining today! The kids were stuck in the house all day yesterday and it was brutal! They were driving me crazy! Hopefully they will go outside today and leave me alone:p

Yesterday's workout was STS FB, then I did the standing leg work in Xtrain and 100 hip thrust. My plan was to do legs but when I did STS abs, I was in the mood to do a FB workout. My buns know they were worked yesterday! Ouch!!! Today will be just cardio and abs. I am hoping to get a long run in but we will see what time DH wakes and how warm it is.

Wendy** That sounded like a good workout. Circuits have always been my fav, time just flies. And your dinner sounded yummy too!!!!

I might pop back later. There isn't much going on here today!!

Fly by for now to report my work out (just finished!)::

Combat 45 Power Kata intervalled with resistance training - I alternated between doing Combat and doing push ups, pull ups, squats and core work during alternating tracks. So during the warm up I did weight work, then I did Combat track 1. During track 2 I did weight work and then I did track 3, etc. The weight work last as long as the Combat track that was playing did. Good stuff. :D

Morning Ladies ..

Had a horrible weekend - NO SUN - more RAIN - and both my babies were sick - and Toots is REALLY sick - had to take her to Vet on SUN - she is pittiful - we really dont know what is going on with her - i PRAY it is not the cancer ... :( ... Brutus is better..and it is odd they both got sick at the same time .. so I am hoping it is soemthign they ate or got into ..??? I am working on little to no sleep and now the PMS monster is creeping up on me ... needless to say the anniversary weekend sucked!! :(

Di - yes men can be A-holes - sooo your DH does just like mine - I know it is their own insecurities but OMG it is infuriating!!!

Lori - glad you got some sun! Of course now that it is Monday and I am working .. the sun is out and shining .. :mad::mad::mad:

Hi Ladies,

Is it Monday already.... The weekend flew by for sure. I did BS Bi's & Tri's, Coremax 3 and Intensity yesterday! This morning I did Core Cardio Circuit and tonight I have bootcamp class. My weight has gone up a total of 1.2lbs over the past two weeks. I'm hoping this additional cardio will give me a loss at my weigh in on Wednesday.

Laura-sorry you had a crappy weekend! Hope the boys are ok. It's bad when kids are sick, but with animals it's so hard to determine what the problem is. Hope they are both better soon. Perhaps you and DH need to schedule a real Anniversary weekend.

Wendy-Your Power Kata mix looks great! Back to being the Mish Mosh Queen I see! 5 minutes of swings...you are a machine!!! I love the hill repeats/swings, sounds awesome!

Lori-boys, I tell yah they are just always into or up to something..In my experience with 3 sons anyway! Glad Stephen is okay. The 12 week HM program I'm following starts this week, overlapping with tri training for 2 weeks. I'm hoping to keep some weight training in the mix. I really miss it so throw it in when I can, usually in the form of a FB w/o.

Hello Ladies ..

even tho i didnt feel like it I made myself do T25 cardio ystdy .... I went to the CC at lunch and did combat core attack .... love that workout!! it is sooooooo fffn hot outside .. and humid .. and no rain (of course am at work not by the pool) .. guessing now on the days w/o rain we are going to be sweltering!!! ugh!!!

Toots is about the same :( Brutus is back to his maniac self .. think he has a stash of RED BULL somewhere .. b/c he is a maniac in the morning!!! :confused:

Di - lol anniversary has come and gone .. best I can hope for is a b-day celebration gettaway in SEPT .. wow some great workouts you put in!!!

Fly by to report my work out. Personals to come later....

324 kettlebell swings intervalled with pull ups and spider push ups. Did 50 swings at a time with 10 pull ups or 10 spider push ups (alternated them) in between. Final swing set was a 24 count. :)

I'm doing a 10k swing challenge in aug plus the swing for charity event at my job so I needed the practice!;)

it is the end of JULY :eek: wow .. where does time go? Toots is finally feeling a bit better - she finally ate last night and her eyes were bright :D:D:D my core is VERY sore from core attack - i managed t25 tb too - then took Brutus for a walk/run - he is a maniac!!!

Wendy - WOW - dare I ask what a 10K swing challenge is??? not 10,000 KB swings :confused::confused::confused::confused: OMG .. you are THE WOMAN .. consider me blown away!!

it will be insanity here at work today - checks dropping .. not sure what is on tap for today ... DH going fishing.. so I have to get on home to check on the babies .. but may try to fit in soemthing quick then take Brutus for his walk/run .. IF it is not raining .. AGAIN ... have a great one!

I saw the pic of your fur babies on fb. Is Brutus already the same size as Toots!?! :eek: Loved the drool! ;) Yes, a 10k challenge is 10,000 swings done in a month. :eek: I honestly don't know if I can swing it...PUN intended! :p That breaks down to 323 swings every day w/no rest days! :eek: If you figure in rest days then it's even more AND I am going on vacation the last week of the month! Staying in an RV! How am I going to do swings in THAT!? :eek: I guess I could do them outside but ppl are bound to think I'm a complete weirdo and IDK if I am willing to take that abuse. :p That being said I'd have to do more then 500 swings a day in order to 1) get one rest day per week and 2) not have to do them while on vacation. OY!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

I think the next set of exercises will be squat curl and squat press! I'm telling you girls so it's written down otherwise I won't remember what I wanted to do! :p
