Afternoon ladies -

been busy day - shorthanded - running errands - and PHONES .. ugh . . they are nonstop!! Ystdy: I did T25 cor cardio - LURV that workout - my legs were sorer than I thought - the quads - my knee was a bit puffy but nothing serious - I went home and walked Brutus in the HEAT .. damn it is HOT and HUMID here!! then did his training - another breakthru .. so proud of my baby dog!! Then my dumbarse - slipped and hit my ankle bone on the corner of our floor molding - think i cracked it - not the joint - but the bone .. UGH!!! gggrrrrrrr .. it hurts!!!

Lori - I got the alpha and beta disc for about what you paid for just thos 4 disc - I think you got ROBBED!!!! I also ordered the Gamma b/c I LOVE these workouts!!! the alpha has a Lower body one that is excellent .. the gamma was only $19 more since i ordered the other package!! so it was totally doable .. have not progressed to them yet .. a friend of mine has them and LOVES them .. says they are very controlled and you can really up the weight in them!!

Di - WISH we had those temps .. supposed to be getting a little cooler this weekend .. HOPE SO!!! LOOOOVE MY HAIR - my stylist is preggers and the hormones must be doing her good - this is the best cut and color she has done in a long time .. it is a bit shorter than usual .. but i LOVE it .. and she did low and high lites .. gorgeous!!! LOVE IT!! :D

Wendy - was that a picture of "little" Joey in football outfit?? OMG .. he is growing up!!! hope the DOMS are better today -

OK - so if my foot allows I am going to do Bootcamp - power hiit today! ok .. better run .. have a great one!;)

Ok, I finished my "real" workout around 7pm. Now I am at ds' football practice waiting to take him home. My workout was one of the group training sessions. In fact I think it's the same one I did last time but since I did it at home I had to improvise on a few moves. Tonight I was able to do it exactly as written. For conditioning I chose battle ropes n burpees follows by swings n hands on/off the box. It fried me! :)
 
Hey Ladies.

Leaving for work in 5 (group session at 9), then a short meeting with my boss and then off to do some running in the park with my old running buddy. I just am too tired to drag weights with me today....:rolleyes:

The boys are at an early football practice and then they are going to Great Adventure. I've opted out and will stay home and get things done around the house, nap, food shop, nap....get the picture here? :p

Hi Ladies,

DH and I have escaped all the rain and flooding in our area by coming up to our condo in the mountains! We will be here for a week! Tuesday is our 25yr anniversary and we have made reservations at a fancy restaurant in a nearby town.

My weight was up at my last weigh in. I weigh everyday at home and new it would be up a bit. Funny that it was down on Monday & Tuesday, up on Wednesday (weigh in day) and back down on Thursday. I'm doing my best to track while on vacation and stay within my points range.

I missed my Thursday training run due to all the rain. It was still raining on Friday so I did BM2 Bootcamp premix. I'd never done this premix and although it was good, I should've done the Cardio Blast premix I'm most familiar with since I really wanted a good cardio w/o. I brought T25 with me so plan on doing those on my non running days.

Wendy-Hope you enjoyed your evening alone. I enjoy having the house to myself, with 5 of us it doesn't happen too often. Keep up with those good workouts!! I'm considering going back to the Dr. for my knee but really don't want to. Hopefully sitting in the hot tub everyday here will help. :p

Laura-yay for an awesome cut and color!

Lori-Hi missy! I've seen the pics of your boys on FB, they are just adorable.

Time to head out for a 7 mile training run. This will be my longest run since starting the HM training. Wish me luck!

Morning Ladies ..

Had a GREAT weekend of tailgating and football! WAAAAR EAGLE!! yes .. great time .. great GAME .. WE WON .. woot woot .. although I about had a heart attack .. and yelled so loud that my voice is hoarse today :confused: :p:p :D no exercise to report (except my walks w/Brutus).. had a rather large head SUN .. we tailgated a DH work corporate tent .. free food and booze :eek: :eek: :D:D:D GREAT TIME! and GORGEOUS weekend .. sun and cooler temps .. but alas it is back to reality today .. gotta work some calories and booze off today :eek: :( :confused:

Wendy - I LOVE your spartan pics .. my fav is the one you have as your avatar on FB now!!! soo happy .. so muddy .. LOL!! how can you look so good covered in mud and sweat and I am sure you were tired on top of that!! LOL ...

DI - I was wondering about you and all the flooding they are showing on the news .. YIKES ... horrible!!! enjoy your vacation and anniversary!!! hoping the weather will clear!!!

I am in another office .. FULL MOON .. is in FULL SWING .. GEESH!! Ystdy - I did get T25 beta core cardio ... then a very hot and steamy Brutus walk in - I was dripping sweat and mosquito repellant!! :confused:

Today I am going to do combat Upper body blowout at lunch - may try to get T25 lower down this afternoon .. or may go on home and get in longer walk .. because it is getting darker sooner .. geesh .. it was pitch black dark by the time I got in last night .. :(

Hey Ladies -

Ystdy - did Combat UB blow out - forgot how awesome that was .. had busy busy full moon kinda day .. went home n walked Brutus on extended long walk - then trained him - then did a new tug/play session (training drive and focus) that was exhausting!! both of us slept like logs last night .. :p

today I went to the CC and did heavy weights :eek: :confused::confused::confused: YOWZA my entire body is trembling!!! i am going to try to fit in beta core dynamics before rushing home to get the walk and training in!!

Wendy - the days are getting sooooo short .. and soon time will change .. UGH .. depressing .. depressing .. depressing!! but on the bright side .. the clips from the new workouts look awesome .. of course the main ones I am looking forward to are the 10X, the leg/butt workouts and the flex training .. I wish I could have NOT ordered the step ones.. I could give it away as a gift .. I am DONE stepping .. except like used in AT or seomthing .. and looks like they may be shipping out towards the end of next week - JUST IN TIME FOR MY BIRTHDAY :D:D:D:D

So I finally did it. I just joined ZGym! I've been eyeballing it since she started it and I just couldn't resist any longer - less then $10 a month! How can I not, right!?! ;)

TR work out A got done after work! Weights only. I didn't do the conditioning segment though. Z "conditioned" me enough this morning for sure! :p
 
Hi Ladies,

I am back from vacation now. We had a wonderful time although I was bored at times. My preference is to go explore and do things that I can't do at home. DH enjoys laying on the couch and watching tv, hot tub, tv, hot tub, tv, hot tub etc. I didn't get him out a couple times though and of course we went out to a nice dinner for our anniversary!

My HM training is going pretty good...even kept up with it on vacation. Did my longest run so far on vacation-7 miles. Tomorrow I have 8 miles to run. My left knee is bothering me quite a bit so I'll probably go in one day this week and have it looked at. I've been doing the exercises the PT gave me last time my knee was hurting.

We did have some water issues.....leak in the front living room and water in the basement. We've had both of these issues before. At least our sump pump didn't fail, but it just couldn't keep up with all the rain we were having. I think it's pretty much dried our now, the stench was so disgusting yesterday but once DH got some fans going the smell seemed to go away within a few hours. Not sure what we are going to do with the front living room leak. Definitely need to cut out the drywall and start over. Hopefully it won't be too noticeable since it's on the ceiling. Last time this happened they never found the source of the leak. We suspect it is from the skylight in the upstairs bathroom. We've had a new roof put on since the last time this happened and DH said they should've sealed the flashing so this shouldn't happen. Guess the insurance guy can figure it out.

A bit of good news, my weight is the lowest it has been in a very long time. I dropped into a new decade of numbers if you will.:D I have no idea how this happened and hope it isn't a fluke. Right now, I'm 14lbs to goal weight.

Wendy-I'm going to have to check out Zgym. I'm guessing Zuzana Light??? You are crazy doing Zcut #anything twice!:eek: I love all your workouts. Did you see they are looking at combining the TheDailyHIIT and BR websites???

Laura-I'm not digging getting darker earlier either. At least it's still light for my morning runs though. I haven't tried core dynamics yet, perhaps today after my UB weight work.

I had a WONDERFUL vaca . . we went to Biloxi - I WON!! WOOT WOOT!! :eek: :D:D:D it was about time - and this was my b-day trip .. soooo great timing!! I was BAD on the eats and drinks :eek::eek::eek: i am avoiding the scales at all cost .. and this is my b-day week - sooooo forget about this week!! LOL .. tmrw having a GGT at the MX place for my b-day and one other one ... sooooooo MX food .. and CABS all round!! :eek::eek: not counting calories this week - WED is my actual b-day and I will be working in another office - I am on VACA THURS - not sure what we are doing but will be last day my DH will be off before starting long hours .. sooooooo IDC if it is sitting out by the pool relaxing!!! LOL

Wendy - ya .. IA w/Di - zcut anything twice ...??? .... ARE YOU CRAZY!! LOL

Di - glad you had a great anniversary .. and congrats on the weight loss - prbly your marry training ???? .... keep up the good work .. My DH and yours are complete opposites .. i cant get him to sit down and relax for nothin!!!! we were on the go all weekend and I havent slept at all .. sooooo tonight I should conk out!!!! and maybe THURS I can relax!!
