Good Morning!

Just getting us started! I have a session today that would have normally been at 6:30 but she wanted to know if we could meet a little later. So I told her to come over at 7:30, that way I have an hour to workout before she gets here. Yesterday ended up being a rest day!

Hopefully I will bbl to catch up on personals!

I was last to post last night so I don't think I have any personals to catch up on...

Well, Cathe posted the December rotation last night after I went to bed so I woke up to a surprise this morning. ;) I will be doing STS Total Body. I was secretly hoping she'd start us off with Intensity but I get to do that tmrw...possibly on sore legs from STS! :eek: Pray for me!:p

Workout done. I did 30mins on the TM, 15 mins on the bike and CM3. The girl I was suppose to train text me at 7:15 and wanted to know if we could do it later:confused:. It gave me more time but I wouldn't have gotten up at 6 if I knew that ahead of time!

Hi Ladies,

This morning is High Reps for me. I did preview a bit of it last night while I was doing laundry and it looks good. I do wish Cathe would give us some guidelines on the barbell she's using. I know with STS total body I started out too heavy on some of the exercises and had to drop down in weight.

I may end up ordering a new laptop after all. It sounds like I need a new motherboard and new harddrive. The guy I talked to said I should call dell because some of the chips in their motherboards have an extended warranty on them, even though I only took the 1 yr standard warranty. I'm going to try to do that today. Of course now I'm wishing I would've paid for the extended warranty.

DH set up our new 40" tv (the one I bought for the basement) up in our bedroom. DS1 set up the 32" flatscreen from our room in the basement so I can do my workout this morning. He still needs to set up the cable and gaming systems etc., but he made sure it would work for me today.:D I've been using the old style 27" tube tv for my workouts, it was weird seeing Cathe on the flat screen. I'm sure I will love it. Eventually we will hang the TV's as I bought wall mounts for both of them, but at least they are both working now. DH and I are trying to find someone to take the entertainment center so we can hang the TV. It's going to give me so much more room in my w/o area!:p

Lori-Glad you were able to get your w/o in first today. What a bummer though, your first client being later than you anticipated.

Wendy-I got the Dec rotation printed just now. I'm just switching out STS total body for High reps this week so I can start today. Have you done any of the premixes on Intensity? I need to preview some of those, it looks like they might use weights...do you know if they do?

Jacque-we watched the avs game on our new 40" TV that DH put up in our bedroo last night. We ended up losing to the thrashers in OT. I hate when that happens.

Laura-Oh no, it's the first of the month...hectic for sure.

Off to peruse the Dell site! Wish me luck.

So I loved STS TB! I really like the set up. It's different from the rest of her f/b work outs! Loved having legs broken up into small segments and dispersed through out the work out. Liked the idea of tri-setting. I just have to get a better handle on what weights to use but that will come with practice. The w/o moves fast with little rest time so the cardio/sweat factor kicked in nicely. I chose to skip the bonus burn exercises for time b/c I started late. Hopefully I will be able to include them next time. I would usually omit abs for time but not today! ;)

Morning ladies ...

another big YOWZA for me ... I didnt think the DOMS could get worse than yesterday :confused: well .. THEY CAN :eek: .. I managed plyo class .. but OMG .. the legs were screaming at me ... one of my girls said she was so sore it hurt to run on the treadmill .. not b/c of her legs .. but b/c her arms were sooooo sore it hurt to pump them .. :p I feel her pain!!!

today is the first .. and about another hour all H### is gonna break loose .. so had to post a quick post this morning to check in w/my girlies!! oh and I got my hair darkened .. I LOVE IT .. got some of the brassy blonde out .. looks great!!!!!!!

Di - if you havent done HR yet .. use LIGHTER weights than you think .. b/c I made the mistake of doing what I normally do .. HA .. nope I had to change that IMMEDIATELY .. LOL ... you are gonna love that workout!

Wendy - have not done the STS TB yet ... sounds fun .. may tackle that this weekend

Lori - have fun on the PT session ... sounds like it is going very good ..

SO it was 70 yesterday - and last night it dropped down to 34 .. and today the high is 50 .. and tonight we are under a freeze warning .. and I wonder why I cant get rid of my cough!!! HA ... well no w/o today .. it will be my rest day afterall .. my friend that has been battling cancer has to go back to TX and is going to miss Christmas with us :( so we are going to get together tonight w/her - say a prayer for her!!!

Diana:: The bootcamp add on is the only portion of INTENSITY that uses any weights. The main reason I wanted a flat screen for my work out room was precisely to be able to hang it. It makes a big difference! Now the corner where the tv was is used for my kettlebells, mat, high step, ankle weights, foam roller, etc. and we hung the tv right above it all. Saved me a ton of space! :) Good luck with the laptop. I hope you get lucky with the extended warranty on the chip!

Laura:: You and your DOMS! :p I am afraid for tomorrow...INTENSITY is on the rotation and I may have DOMS from STS! :eek: Can't wait to hear your thoughts on STS TB!
